1 A Song [or] Psalm for the sons of Korah, to the chief Musician upon Mahalath Leannoth, Maschil of Heman the Ezrahite. O LORD God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before thee:
[x]MKJV: A Song. A Psalm for the sons of Korah. To the Chief Musician. On Mahalath, to make humble. A Poem of Heman the Ezrahite. O LORD God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before You. BBE: KAV: (고라의 아들들을 위한 노래 또는 시, 마할랏 르안놋에 맞추어 악장에게 준 것, 에스라 사람 헤만의 마스길) 오 {주} 내 구원의 [하나님]이여, 내가 밤낮으로 주 앞에서 부르짖었사오니2 Let my prayer come before thee: incline thine ear unto my cry;
[x]MKJV: Let my prayer come before You; bow down Your ear to my cry. BBE: Let my prayer come before you; give ear to my cry: KAV: 나의 기도가 주 앞에 이르게 하시며 나의 부르짖음에 주의 귀를 기울이소서.3 For my soul is full of troubles: and my life draweth nigh unto the grave.
[x]MKJV: For my soul is full of troubles, and my life draws near the grave. BBE: For my soul is full of evils, and my life has come near to the underworld. 4 I am counted with them that go down into the pit: I am as a man that hath no strength:
[x]MKJV: I am counted with those who go down to the Pit; I am like a feeble man; BBE: I am numbered among those who go down into the earth; I have become like a man for whom there is no help: KAV: 나는 구덩이로 내려가는 자들과 함께 계수되고 기력이 없는 자 같으며5 Free among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave, whom thou rememberest no more: and they are cut off from thy hand.
[x]MKJV: free among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave, whom You remember no more; and by Your hand they are cut off. BBE: My soul is among the dead, like those in the underworld, to whom you give no more thought; for they are cut off from your care. 6 Thou hast laid me in the lowest pit, in darkness, in the deeps.
[x]MKJV: You have laid me in the lowest pit, in darkness, in the deeps. BBE: You have put me in the lowest deep, even in dark places. 7 Thy wrath lieth hard upon me, and thou hast afflicted me with all thy waves. Selah.
[x]MKJV: Your wrath lies hard on me, and You have afflicted [me] with all Your waves. Selah. BBE: The weight of your wrath is crushing me, all your waves have overcome me. (Selah.) 8 Thou hast put away mine acquaintance far from me; thou hast made me an abomination unto them: I am shut up, and I cannot come forth.
[x]MKJV: You have taken my friends away from me; You have made me a hateful thing to them. [I am] shut up, and I cannot go out. BBE: You have sent my friends far away from me; you have made me a disgusting thing in their eyes: I am shut up, and not able to come out. 9 Mine eye mourneth by reason of affliction: LORD, I have called daily upon thee, I have stretched out my hands unto thee.
[x]MKJV: My eye mourns because of affliction; O LORD, I have called daily on You; I have stretched out my hands to You. BBE: My eyes are wasting away because of my trouble: Lord, my cry has gone up to you every day, my hands are stretched out to you. 10 Wilt thou show wonders to the dead? shall the dead arise and praise thee? Selah.
[x]MKJV: For will You do wonders to the dead? Shall the dead rise [and] praise You? Selah. BBE: Will you do works of wonder for the dead? will the shades come back to give you praise? (Selah.) 11 Shall thy lovingkindness be declared in the grave? or thy faithfulness in destruction?
[x]MKJV: Shall Your loving-kindness be declared in the grave? [Or] Your faithfulness in ruin? BBE: Will the story of your mercy be given in the house of the dead? will news of your faith come to the place of destruction? 주의 신실하심이 파멸 속에서 밝히 드러나리이까?12 Shall thy wonders be known in the dark? and thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?
[x]MKJV: Shall Your wonders be known in the dark, and Your righteousness in the land of forgetfulness? BBE: May there be knowledge of your wonders in the dark? or of your righteousness where memory is dead? 주의 의가 망각의 땅에서 알려지리이까?13 But unto thee have I cried, O LORD; and in the morning shall my prayer prevent thee.
[x]MKJV: But to You I have cried, O LORD; and in the morning my prayer shall go before You. BBE: But to you did I send up my cry, O Lord; in the morning my prayer came before you. 14 LORD, why castest thou off my soul? why hidest thou thy face from me?
[x]MKJV: O LORD, why do You cast off my soul? [Why] do You hide Your face from me? BBE: Lord, why have you sent away my soul? why is your face covered from me? 어찌하여 주의 얼굴을 내게 숨기시나이까?15 I am afflicted and ready to die from my youth up: while I suffer thy terrors I am distracted.
[x]MKJV: I [am] afflicted and ready to die from my youth up; while I suffer Your terrors, I pine away. BBE: I have been troubled and in fear of death from the time when I was young; your wrath is hard on me, and I have no strength. 16 Thy fierce wrath goeth over me; thy terrors have cut me off.
[x]MKJV: Your fierce wrath goes over me; Your terrors have cut me off. BBE: The heat of your wrath has gone over me; I am broken by your cruel punishments. 17 They came round about me daily like water; they compassed me about together.
[x]MKJV: They surrounded me like waters all the day long; they have come together around me. BBE: They are round me all the day like water; they have made a circle about me. 18 Lover and friend hast thou put far from me, and mine acquaintance into darkness.
[x]MKJV: You have taken lover and friend far from me, [and] those who know me into darkness. BBE: You have sent my friends and lovers far from me; I am gone from the memory of those who are dear to me. |
