1 Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence.,

KAV: 녹이는 불이 타오를 때에 그 불이 물을 끓이는 것 같게 하사 주의 대적들이 주의 이름을 알게 하시며 민족들이 주 앞에서 떨게 하옵소서!3 When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence.

KAV: 오 [하나님]이여, 세상이 시작된 이래로 [하나님]께서 자신을 기다리는 자를 위하여 예비하신 것을 주 외에는 사람들이 듣지 못하였고 귀로 깨닫지도 못하였으며 눈이 본 적도 없나이다.5 Thou meetest him that rejoiceth and worketh righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways: behold, thou art wroth; for we have sinned: in those is continuance, and we shall be saved.
[x]MKJV: You meet him who rejoices and works righteousness, [those who] remember You in Your ways. Behold, You were angry, for we sinned. In them [is] eternity, and we will be saved.
BBE: Will you not have mercy on him who takes pleasure in doing righteousness, even on those who keep in mind your ways? Truly you were angry, and we went on doing evil, and sinning against you in the past.
KAV: 주께서는 기쁘게 의를 행하는 자와 주의 길들에서 주를 기억하는 자를 만나시거늘, 보소서, 우리가 죄를 지었으므로 주께서 진노하셨사오나 주의 길들이 지속되므로 우리가 구원을 받으리이다.6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

KAV: 그러나 우리는 다 부정한 물건 같아서 우리의 모든 의는 더러운 누더기 같으며 우리는 다 잎사귀같이 시들므로 우리의 불법들이 바람같이 우리를 몰아가나이다.7 And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities.

KAV: 주의 이름을 부르는 자가 없으며 스스로 분발하여 주를 붙잡는 자도 없사오니 이는 주께서 주의 얼굴을 우리에게 숨기셨으며 우리의 불법들로 인하여 우리를 소멸시키셨기 때문이니이다.8 But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

KAV: 거룩하고 아름다운 우리 집 곧 우리 조상들이 거하며 주를 찬양하던 집이 불탔사오며 우리가 기뻐하던 것들이 다 피폐하게 되었나이다.12 Wilt thou refrain thyself for these things, O LORD? wilt thou hold thy peace, and afflict us very sore?
