KAV: 또 {주}의 말씀이 내게 임하니라. 이르시되,2 Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of the LORD;
[x]MKJV: Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who prophesy. And say to those who prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear the Word of Jehovah:
BBE: Son of man, be a prophet against the prophets of Israel, and say to those prophets whose words are the invention of their hearts, Give ear to the word of the Lord;
KAV: 사람의 아들아, 대언하는 이스라엘의 대언자들을 대적하여 대언하고 자기 마음에서 나오는 대로 대언하는 자들에게 너는 말하기를, 너희는 {주}의 말씀을 들으라.3 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow ㆍ their own spirit, and have seen nothing!
[x]MKJV: So says the Lord Jehovah, Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit and have seen nothing!
BBE: This is what the Lord has said: A curse on the foolish prophets who go after the spirit which is in them and have seen nothing!
KAV: [주] {하나님}이 이같이 말하노라. 아무것도 보지 못한 채 자기 영을 따르는 어리석은 대언자들에게 화가 있을지어다!4 O Israel, thy prophets are like the foxes in the deserts.
[x]MKJV: O Israel, your prophets are like the foxes in the deserts.
BBE: O Israel, your prophets have been like jackals in the waste places.
KAV: 오 이스라엘아, 네 대언자들은 사막의 여우들 같으니라.5 Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the LORD.
[x]MKJV: You have not gone up into the breaks, nor built the wall for the house of Israel, that it might stand in the battle in the day of the LORD.
BBE: You have not gone up into the broken places or made up the wall for the children of Israel to take your place in the fight in the day of the Lord.
KAV: 너희가 무너진 곳에 올라가지도 아니하였으며 {주}의 날에 전쟁 중에 서게 하려고 이스라엘의 집을 위하여 울타리를 치지도 아니하였느니라.6 They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The LORD saith: and the LORD hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word.
[x]MKJV: They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The LORD says. And the LORD has not sent them; but they hoped to confirm [their] word.
BBE: They have seen visions without substance and made use of secret arts, who say, The Lord has said; and the Lord has not sent them: hoping that the word would have effect.
KAV: 그들이 헛된 것과 거짓 점괘를 보고 이르기를, {주}가 말하노라, 하였으나 {주}는 그들을 보내지 아니하였느니라. 또 그들은 다른 사람들로 하여금 자기들이 그 말을 확증할 것을 바라게 하였느니라.7 Have ye not seen a vain vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, whereas ye say, The LORD saith it; albeit I have not spoken?
[x]MKJV: Did you not see a vain vision, and speak a lying divination? Yet you say, The LORD says; although I have not spoken?
BBE: Have you not seen a vision without substance and have you not falsely made use of secret arts, when you say, The Lord has said; though I have said nothing?
KAV: 내가 말하지 아니하였음에도 불구하고 너희가 이르기를, {주}가 그것을 말하노라, 하나니 그런즉 너희가 헛된 환상을 보지 아니하였으며 거짓 점괘를 말하지 아니하였느냐?8 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord GOD.
[x]MKJV: Therefore so says the Lord Jehovah: Because you have spoken vanity and seen a lie, therefore, behold, I [am] against you, says the Lord Jehovah.
BBE: So this is what the Lord has said: Because your words are without substance and your visions are false, see, I am against you, says the Lord.
KAV: 그러므로 [주] {하나님}이 이같이 말하노라. 너희가 헛된 것을 말하고 거짓을 보았은즉, 보라, 내가 너희를 대적하노라. [주] {하나님}이 말하노라.9 And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
[x]MKJV: And My hand shall be against the prophets who see vanity and who divine a lie. They shall not be in the council of My people, nor shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, nor shall they enter into the land of Israel. And you shall know that I [am] the Lord Jehovah.
BBE: And my hand will be against the prophets who see visions without substance and who make false use of secret arts: they will not be in the secret of my people, and they will not be recorded in the list of the children of Israel, and they will not come into the land of Israel; and it will be clear to you that I am the Lord.
KAV: 내 손이 헛된 것을 보고 거짓을 점치는 대언자들 위에 임하리라. 그들은 내 백성의 집회 중에 있지 못하며 이스라엘의 집의 기록 문서에도 기록되지 못하고 이스라엘 땅으로 들어오지도 못하리니 내가 [주] {하나님} 인 줄을 너희가 알리라.10 Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered mortar:
[x]MKJV: Because, even because they made My people go astray, saying, Peace; and [there was] no peace; and he builds a wall, and lo, [others] daubed it with lime.
BBE: Because, even because they have been guiding my people into error, saying, Peace; when there is no peace; and in the building of a division wall they put whitewash on it:
KAV: ¶ 그들이 내 백성을 유혹하여 평안이 없는데도, 평안하다, 하였으며 한 사람이 벽을 쌓았고, 보라, 다른 사람들이 제대로 섞지 않은 회반죽으로 그 벽에 발랐도다.11 Say unto them which daub it with untempered mortar, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones ㆍ, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it.
[x]MKJV: Say to those who daub [with] lime, yes, it shall fall; [there] will be a flooding rain; and you, O hailstones, shall fall, and a stormy wind will break.
BBE: Say to those who put whitewash on it, There will be an overflowing shower; and you, O ice-drops, will come raining down; and it will be broken in two by the storm-wind.
KAV: 제대로 섞지 않은 회반죽으로 벽에 바르는 자들에게 이르기를, 그 벽이 무너지리라, 하라. 넘치는 폭우가 있으리로다. 오 큰 우박들아, 너희는 떨어질지어다. 폭풍이 그것을 부수리로다.12 Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?
[x]MKJV: And, behold, when the wall has fallen, shall it not be said to you, Where [is] the daubing with which you have daubed?
BBE: And when the wall has come down, will they not say to you, Where is the whitewash which you put on it?
KAV: 보라, 그 벽이 무너진즉 사람들이 너희에게 말하기를, 너희가 벽에 바를 때 쓴 회반죽이 어디 있느냐, 하지 아니하겠느냐?13 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it.
[x]MKJV: Therefore so says the Lord Jehovah: I will even break [it with] a stormy wind in My fury. And there shall be an flooding rain in My anger, and hailstones in fury to destroy it.
BBE: For this reason, the Lord has said: I will have it broken in two by a storm-wind in my passion; and there will be an overflowing shower in my wrath, and you, O ice-drops, will come raining angrily down.
KAV: 그러므로 [주] {하나님}이 이같이 말하노라. 내가 친히 격노하여 폭풍으로 그것을 부수고 친히 분노하여 넘치는 폭우가 있게 하며 친히 격노하여 큰 우박이 그것을 소멸시키게 하리라.14 So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered mortar, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
[x]MKJV: And I will break down the wall that you have daubed [with] lime, and touch it to the ground; yea, I will bare its base. And it shall fall, and you shall be destroyed in her midst; and you shall know that I [am] the LORD.
BBE: So I will let the wall, which you were covering with whitewash, be broken down; I will have it levelled to the earth so that its base is uncovered: it will come down, and destruction will come on you with it; and it will be clear to you that I am the Lord.
KAV: 이처럼 너희가 제대로 섞지 않은 회반죽으로 바른 그 벽을 내가 허물어서 땅에 무너져 내리게 하고 그것의 기초가 드러나게 하리니 그 벽이 무너지리라. 너희가 그것의 한가운데서 소멸되리니 내가 {주} 인 줄을 너희가 알리라.15 Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered mortar, and will say unto you, The wall is no more, neither they that daubed it;
[x]MKJV: And I will fulfill My wrath on the wall and on those who daubed it [with] lime. And I will say to you, The wall [is] no more; and, Those who daubed [are] no more;
BBE: So I will let loose my passion on the wall in full measure, and on those who put whitewash on it; and I will say to you, Where is the wall, and where are those who put whitewash on it?
KAV: 이와 같이 내가 내 진노를 그 벽과 또 제대로 섞지 않은 회반죽으로 그 벽에 바른 자들 위에서 이루고 너희에게 말하기를, 다시는 벽도 없고 그것을 바른 자들도 없다, 하리니16 To wit, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord GOD.
[x]MKJV: the prophets of Israel who prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and who see visions of peace for her, and [there is] no peace, says the LORD.
BBE: Even the prophets of Israel who say words to Jerusalem, who see visions of peace for her when there is no peace, says the Lord.
KAV: 이들은 곧 예루살렘에 관해 대언하며 평안이 없는데도 예루살렘을 위하여 평안의 환상들을 보는 이스라엘의 대언자들이니라. [주] {하나님}이 말하노라, 하라.17 Likewise, thou son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, which prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them,
[x]MKJV: And you, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, who prophesy out of their own heart. And prophesy against them,
BBE: And you, son of man, let your face be turned against the daughters of your people, who are acting the part of prophets at their pleasure; be a prophet against them, and say,
KAV: ¶ 너 사람의 아들아, 너는 이와 같이 네 백성의 딸들 곧 자기 마음에서 나오는 대로 대언하는 자들을 향해 네 얼굴을 고정하고 그들을 대적하여 대언하며18 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes ㆍ, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you?
[x]MKJV: and say, So says the Lord Jehovah: Woe to those sewing bands to all joints of my hands, and make long veils for the head of every [man] of stature, to hunt souls! Will you hunt the souls of My people, and will you save alive the souls for yourselves?
BBE: This is what the Lord has said: A curse is on the women who are stitching bands on all arms and putting veils on the heads of those of every size, so that they may go after souls! Will you go after the souls of my people and keep yourselves safe from death?
KAV: 이르기를, [주] {하나님}이 이같이 말하노라. 혼들을 사냥하려고 모든 겨드랑이에 베개를 꿰어 매고 수건을 만들어 키가 큰 자나 작은 자의 머리 위에 두는 여자들에게 화가 있을지어다! 너희가 내 백성의 혼들은 사냥하면서 너희에게 오는 혼들은 구하여 살려 두려 하느냐?19 And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies?
[x]MKJV: And will you profane Me among My people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to kill the souls that should not die; and to save alive the souls that should not live, by your lying to My people who listen to lies.
BBE: And you have put me to shame among my people for a little barley and some bits of bread, sending death on souls for whom there is no cause of death, and keeping those souls living who have no right to life, by the false words you say to my people who give ear to what is false.
KAV: 너희가 몇 움큼 보리와 몇 조각 빵을 위하여 나를 내 백성 가운데서 더럽게 만들고 너희의 거짓말을 듣는 내 백성에게 거짓말을 하여 죽어서는 안 될 혼들은 죽이고 살아서는 안 될 혼들은 구원하려 하느냐?20 Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly.
[x]MKJV: Therefore so says the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I [am] against your bands with which you are hunting the souls there, to make them fly. And I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, the souls which you are hunting, to make them fly.
BBE: For this cause the Lord has said: See, I am against your bands with which you go after souls, and I will violently take them off their arms; and I will let loose the souls, even the souls whom you go after freely.
KAV: 그러므로 [주] {하나님}이 이같이 말하노라. 보라, 너희가 거기서 너희 베개들로 혼들을 사냥하여 날아가게 하므로 내가 그 베개들을 대적하노라. 내가 그것들을 너희 팔에서 떼어 찢어 버리고 혼들 곧 너희가 사냥하여 날아가게 하는 그 혼들을 놓아주리라.21 Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
[x]MKJV: Also I will tear your long veils and deliver My people out of your hand, and they shall no more be in your hand to be hunted. And you shall know that I [am] the LORD.
BBE: And I will have your veils violently parted in two, and will make my people free from your hands, and they will no longer be in your power for you to go after them; and you will be certain that I am the Lord.
KAV: 또 내가 너희 수건들을 찢고 내 백성을 너희 손에서 건져 내며 그들이 다시는 너희 손에서 사냥감이 되지 않게 하리니 내가 {주} 인 줄을 너희가 알리라.22 Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:
[x]MKJV: Because with lies you have saddened the heart of the righteous, whom I have not made sad; and have made the hands of the wicked strong, so that he should not turn from his wicked way, by promising him life;
BBE: Because with your false words you have given pain to the heart of the upright man when I had not made him sad; in order to make strong the hands of the evil-doer so that he may not be turned from his evil way and get life:
KAV: 내가 슬프게 하지 아니한 의로운 자의 마음을 너희가 거짓말로 슬프게 하며 사악한 자에게 생명을 약속함으로 그의 손을 강하게 하여 그가 자기의 사악한 길에서 돌아서지 아니하게 하였나니23 Therefore ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
[x]MKJV: therefore you shall not see vanity, and you shall not divine any divination. and I will deliver My people out of your hands; and you shall know that I [am] the LORD.
BBE: For this cause you will see no more foolish visions or make false use of secret arts: and I will make my people free from your power; and you will be certain that I am the Lord.
KAV: 그러므로 너희가 다시는 헛된 것과 신성한 점괘를 보지 못하리라. 내가 너희 손에서 내 백성을 건져 내리니 그리하면 내가 {주} 인 줄을 너희가 알리라, 하라.
