KAV: 거기에서 나무를 취하여 무슨 작업을 하겠느냐? 혹은 사람들이 그것에서 못을 취하여 그 위에 무슨 그릇을 걸겠느냐?

BBE: See, it is put into the fire for burning: the fire has made a meal of its two ends and the middle part of it is burned; is it good for any work?
KAV: 보라, 그것은 땔감으로 불에 던져졌느니라. 불이 그것의 두 끝을 삼키며 그것의 한가운데는 불타게 되었으니 그것이 무슨 작업엔들 적합하냐?

KAV: ¶ 그러므로 [주] {하나님}이 이같이 말하노라. 내가 숲의 나무들 가운데 있는 포도나무를 불에 내주어 땔감이 되게 한 것 같이 예루살렘 거주민들도 내주리라.

KAV: 내가 그들을 향하여 내 얼굴을 들리니 그들이 한 불에서 나와도 다른 불이 그들을 삼키리라. 내가 그들을 향해 내 얼굴을 고정할 때에 내가 {주} 인 줄을 너희가 알리라.
