1 Then Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.

KAV: 그때에 솔로몬이 예루살렘의 모리아 산에 {주}의 집을 건축하기 시작하였는데 이곳은 전에 {주}께서 그의 아버지 다윗에게 나타나신 곳이요, 여부스 족속 오르난의 타작마당에 다윗이 예비한 곳이더라.2 And he began to build in the second day of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.

BBE: The building was started in the second month in the fourth year of his rule.
KAV: 솔로몬이 자신의 통치 제사년 둘째 달 둘째 날에 건축하기 시작하였더라.3 Now these are the things wherein Solomon was instructed for the building of the house of God. The length by cubits after the first measure was threescore cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.
[x]MKJV: Now these [are] the foundations Solomon [laid], to build the house of God. The length [by] cubits according to the first measure, sixty cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.
BBE: And Solomon put the base of the house of God in position; by the older measure it was sixty cubits long and twenty cubits wide.
KAV: ¶ 이제 솔로몬이 [하나님]의 집을 건축하기 위해 지시 받은 것들은 이러하니라. 그 집은 처음에 재던 큐빗으로 길이가 육십 큐빗이요, 너비가 이십 큐빗이더라.4 And the porch that was in the front of the house, the length of it was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the height was an hundred and twenty: and he overlaid it within with pure gold.
[x]MKJV: And the porch on the front, the length according to the breadth of the house, [was] twenty cubits, and the height a hundred and twenty. And he overlaid it inside with pure gold.
BBE: And the covered way in front of the house was twenty cubits long, as wide as the house, and a hundred and twenty cubits high, all plated inside with the best gold.
KAV: 그 집 앞에 있던 주랑의 길이는 그 집의 너비와 같이 이십 큐빗이요, 높이는 백이십 큐빗이더라. 그가 그것의 안을 순금으로 입혔으며5 And the greater house he ceiled with fir tree, which he overlaid with fine gold, and set thereon palm trees and chains.
[x]MKJV: And he made the ceiling of the greater house with fir wood, which he overlaid with fine gold. And he set palm trees and chains on it.
BBE: And the greater house was roofed with cypress-wood, plated with the best gold and ornamented with designs of palm-trees and chains.
KAV: 더 큰 집은 전나무로 붙이고 정금으로 입히며 그 위에 종려나무들과 사슬들을 새겼고6 And he garnished the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold was gold of Parvaim.

BBE: And the house was made beautiful with stones of great value, and the gold was gold of Parvaim.
KAV: 또 보석들로 집을 꾸며 아름답게 하였는데 그 금은 바르와임의 금이더라.7 He overlaid also the house, the beams, the posts, and the walls thereof, and the doors thereof, with gold; and graved cherubims on the walls.

BBE: All the house was plated with gold, the supports, the steps, the walls and the doors; and the walls were ornamented with designs of winged ones.
KAV: 또 그가 그 집과 들보들과 기둥들과 그것의 벽들과 문들을 금으로 입히고 벽들에 그룹들을 새겼더라.8 And he made the most holy house, the length whereof was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits: and he overlaid it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents.
[x]MKJV: And he made the Most Holy Place. Its length [was] by the front, of the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and its breadth, twenty cubits. And he overlaid it with fine gold, to six hundred talents.
BBE: And he made the most holy place; it was twenty cubits long, and twenty cubits wide, like the greater house, and was plated all over with the best gold; six hundred talents were used for it.
KAV: 또 그가 지극히 거룩한 집을 지었는데 그것의 길이는 집의 너비대로 이십 큐빗이요, 너비도 이십 큐빗이더라. 그가 정금 육백 달란트로 그것을 입혔더라.9 And the weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. And he overlaid the upper chambers with gold.

BBE: And fifty shekels weight of gold was used for the nails. He had all the higher rooms plated with gold.
KAV: 못들의 무게가 금 오십 세겔이더라. 그가 다락방들을 금으로 입혔더라.10 And in the most holy house he made two cherubims of image work, and overlaid them with gold.

KAV: 또 그가 지극히 거룩한 집 안에 두 그룹을 형상 작업으로 만들고 금으로 그것들을 입혔더라.11 And the wings of the cherubims were twenty cubits long: one wing of the one cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was likewise five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.

BBE: Their outstretched wings were twenty cubits across; one wing, five cubits long, touching the wall of the house, and the other, of the same size, meeting the wing of the other winged one.
KAV: ¶ 그룹들의 날개들은 길이가 이십 큐빗이더라. 한 그룹의 한 날개는 오 큐빗으로 그 집의 벽에 닿았고 다른 날개도 마찬가지로 오 큐빗으로 다른 그룹의 날개에 닿았더라.12 And one wing of the other cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was five cubits also, joining to the wing of the other cherub.
[x]MKJV: And [one] wing of the other cherub [was] five cubits, touching to the wall of the house; and the other wing five cubits, touching to the wing of the other cherub.
BBE: And in the same way, the wings of the other, five cubits long, were stretched out, one touching the wall and the other meeting the wing of the first winged one.
KAV: 다른 그룹의 한 날개는 오 큐빗으로 그 집의 벽에 닿았고 다른 날개도 오 큐빗으로 다른 그룹의 날개에 맞붙었더라.13 The wings of these cherubims spread themselves forth twenty cubits: and they stood on their feet, and their faces were inward.

KAV: ¶ 또 그가 청색과 자주색과 진홍색 실과 고운 아마 실로 휘장을 만들고 그 위에 그룹들을 만들었으며15 Also he made before the house two pillars of thirty and five cubits high, and the chapiter that was on the top of each of them was five cubits.

BBE: And in front of the house he made two pillars, thirty-five cubits high, with crowns on the tops of them, five cubits high.
KAV: 또한 그 집 앞에 높이가 삼십오 큐빗인 기둥 두 개를 만들었는데 그것들 각각의 꼭대기 위에 있던 기둥머리는 오 큐빗이더라.16 And he made chains, as in the oracle, and put them on the heads of the pillars; and made an hundred pomegranates, and put them on the chains.

BBE: And he made chains, like neck ornaments, and put them on the tops of the pillars, and a hundred apples on the chains.
KAV: 그가 하나님께서 말씀하시는 곳에 한 것 같이 사슬들을 만들어 그 기둥들의 머리에 두고 석류 백 개를 만들어 사슬들에 달았으며17 And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand ㆍ Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.
