Destruction to come upon the Jews. (1-3) The Lord's dealing with the Jews. (4-14) The emblem and curse of a foolish shepherd. (15-17)
KJV BBE KRV
Open thy doors, O Lebanon, that the fire may devour thy cedars.1 Let your doors be open, O Lebanon, so that fire may be burning among your cedars.1 레바논아 네 문을 열고 불이 네 백향목을 사르게 하라
Howl, fir tree; for the cedar is fallen; because the mighty are spoiled: howl, O ye oaks of Bashan; for the forest of the vintage is come down.2 Give a cry of grief, O fir-tree, for the fall of the cedar, because the great ones have been made low: give cries of grief, O you oaks of Bashan, for the strong trees of the wood have come down.2 너 잣나무여 곡할찌어다 백향목이 넘어졌고 아름다운 나무가 훼멸되었도다 바산의 상수리나무여 곡할찌어다 무성한 삼림이 엎드러졌도다
There is a voice of the howling of the shepherds; for their glory is spoiled: a voice of the roaring of young lions; for the pride of Jordan is spoiled.3 The sound of the crying of the keepers of the flock! for their glory is made waste: the sound of the loud crying of the young lions! for the pride of Jordan is made waste.3 목자의 곡하는 소리가 남이여 그 영화로운 것이 훼멸되었음이로다 어린 사자의 부르짖는 소리가 남이여 이는 요단의 자랑이 황무하였음이로다
Thus saith the LORD my God; Feed the flock of the slaughter;4 This is what the Lord my God has said: Take care of the flock of death;4 여호와 나의 하나님이 가라사대 너는 잡힐 양떼를 먹이라
Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty: and they that sell them say, Blessed be the LORD; for I am rich: and their own shepherds pity them not.5 Whose owners put them to death and have no sense of sin; and those who get a price for them say, May the Lord be praised for I have much wealth: and the keepers of the flock have no pity for them.5 산 자들은 그들을 잡아도 죄가 없다 하고 판 자들은 말하기를 내가 부요케 되었은즉 여호와께 찬송하리라 하고 그 목자들은 그들을 불쌍히 여기지 아니하는도다
For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD: but, lo, I will deliver the men every one into his neighbour's hand, and into the hand of his king: and they shall smite the land, and out of their hand I will not deliver them.6 For I will have no more pity for the people of the land, says the Lord; but I will give up everyone into his neighbour's hand and into the hand of his king: and they will make the land waste, and I will not keep them safe from their hands.6 여호와가 말하노라 내가 다시는 이 땅 거민을 불쌍히 여기지 아니하고 그 사람을 각각 그 이웃의 손과 임금의 손에 붙이리니 그들이 이 땅을 칠찌라도 내가 그 손에서 건져내지 아니하리라 하시기로
And I will feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. And I took unto me two staves; the one I called Beauty, and the other I called Bands; and I fed the flock.7 So I took care of the flock of death, for those who made profit out of the flock; and I took for myself two rods, naming one Beautiful, and the other Bands; and I took care of the flock.7 내가 이 잡힐 양떼를 먹이니 참으로 가련한 양이라 내가 이에 막대기 둘을 취하여 하나는 은총이라 하며 하나는 연락이라 하고 양떼를 먹일쌔
Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul loathed them, and their soul also abhorred me.8 And in one month I put an end to the three keepers of the flock; for my soul was tired of them, and their souls were disgusted with me.8 한달 동안에 내가 그 세 목자를 끊었으니 이는 내 마음에 그들을 싫어하였고 그들의 마음에도 나를 미워하였음이라
Then said I, I will not feed you: that that dieth, let it die; and that that is to be cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest eat every one the flesh of another.9 And I said, I will not take care of you: If death comes to any, let death be its fate; if any is cut off, let it be cut off; and let the rest take one another's flesh for food.9 내가 가로되 내가 너희를 먹이지 아니하고 죽는 자는 죽는대로, 망할 자는 망할대로, 그 나머지는 피차 살을 먹는대로 두리라 하고
And I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the people.10 And I took my rod Beautiful, cutting it in two, so that the Lord's agreement, which he had made with all the peoples, might be broken.10 이에 은총이라 하는 막대기를 취하여 잘랐으니 이는 모든 백성과 세운 언약을 폐하려 하였음이라
And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of the LORD.11 And it was broken on that day: and the sheep-traders, who were watching me, were certain that it was the word of the Lord.11 당일에 곧 폐하매 내게 청종하던 가련한 양들은 이것이 여호와의 말씀이었던줄 안지라
And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.12 And I said to them, If it seems good to you, give me my payment; and if not, do not give it. So they gave me my payment by weight, thirty shekels of silver.12 내가 그들에게 이르되 너희가 좋게 여기거든 내 고가를 내게 주고 그렇지 아니하거든 말라 그들이 곧 은 삼십을 달아서 내 고가를 삼은지라
And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD.13 And the Lord said to me, Put it into the store-house, the price at which I was valued by them. And I took the thirty shekels of silver and put them into the store-house in the house of the Lord.13 여호와께서 내게 이르시되 그들이 나를 헤아린바 그 준가를 토기장이에게 던지라 하시기로 내가 곧 그 은 삼십을 여호와의 전에서 토기장이에게 던지고
Then I cut asunder mine other staff, even Bands, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.14 Then I took my other rod, the one named Bands, cutting it in two, so that the relation of brothers between Judah and Israel might be broken.14 내가 또 연락이라 하는 둘째 막대기를 잘랐으니 이는 유다와 이스라엘 형제의 의를 끊으려 함이었느니라
And the LORD said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.15 And the Lord said to me, Take again the instruments of a foolish keeper of sheep.15 여호와께서 내게 이르시되 너는 또 우매한 목자의 기구들을 취할찌니라
For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces.16 For see, I will put a sheep-keeper over the land, who will have no care for that which is cut off, and will not go in search of the wanderers, or make well what is broken, and he will not give food to that which is ill, but he will take for his food the flesh of the fat, and let their feet be broken.16 보라 내가 한 목자를 이 땅에 일으키리니 그가 없어진 자를 마음에 두지 아니하며 흩어진 자를 찾지 아니하며 상한 자를 고치지 아니하며 강건한 자를 먹이지 아니하고 오히려 살찐 자의 고기를 먹으며 또 그 굽을 찢으리라
Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.17 A curse on the foolish keeper who goes away from the flock! the sword will be on his arm and on his right eye: his arm will become quite dry and his eye will be made completely dark.17 화 있을찐저 양떼를 버린 못된 목자여 칼이 그 팔에, 우편 눈에 임하리니 그 팔이 아주 마르고 그 우편 눈이 아주 어두우리라
