| 1 A Psalm [or] Song for the sabbath day. It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: | 1 | 1 지존자여 십현금과 비파와 수금의 정숙한 소리로 여호와께 감사하며 주의 이름을 찬양하며 아침에 주의 인자하심을 나타내며 밤마다 주의 성실하심을 베풂이 좋으니이다 |
| 2 To show forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, | 2 To make clear your mercy in the morning, and your unchanging faith every night; | 2 (1
| 3 Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound. | 3 On a ten-corded instrument, and on an instrument of music with a quiet sound. | 3 (1
| 4 For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands. | 4 For you, O Lord, have made me glad through your work; I will have joy in the works of your hands.
| 5 O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep. | 5 O Lord, how great are your works! and your thoughts are very deep. | 5
| 6 A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this. | 6 A man without sense has no knowledge of this; and a foolish man may not take it in.
| 7 When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever: | 7 When the sinners come up like the grass, and all the workers of evil do well for themselves, it is so that their end may be eternal destruction.
| 8 But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore. | 8 But you, O Lord, are on high for ever. | 8
| 9 For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered. | 9 For see! your haters, O Lord, will be put to death; all the workers of evil will be put to flight; | 9 여호와여 주의 원수 곧 주의 원수가 패망하리니 죄악을 행하는 자는 다 흩어지리이다 |
| 10 But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil. | 10 But my horn is lifted up like the horn of the ox: the best oil is flowing on my head.
| 11 Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me. | 11 My eyes have seen trouble come on my haters; my ears have news of the fate of the evil-doers who have come up against me.
| 12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. | 12 The good man will be like a tall tree in his strength; his growth will be as the wide-stretching trees of Lebanon.
| 13 Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. | 13 Those who are planted in the house of the Lord will come up tall and strong in his gardens.
| 14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing; | 14 They will give fruit even when they are old; they will be fertile and full of growth; | 14 늙어도 결실하며 진액이 풍족하고 빛이 청청하여 |
| 15 To show that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness ㆍ in him. | 15 For a sign that the Lord is upright; he is my Rock, there is no deceit in him.
