| 1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. | 1 Happy is he whose resting-place is in the secret of the Lord, and under the shade of the wings of the Most High; | 1 지존자의 은밀한 곳에 거하는 자는 전능하신 자의 그늘 아래 거하리로다 |
| 2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. | 2 Who says of the Lord, He is my safe place and my tower of strength: he is my God, in whom is my hope.
| 3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. | 3 He will take you out of the bird-net, and keep you safe from wasting disease.
| 4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. | 4 You will be covered by his feathers; under his wings you will be safe: his good faith will be your salvation.
| 5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; | 5 You will have no fear of the evil things of the night, or of the arrow in flight by day, | 5 너는 밤에 놀램과 낮에 흐르는 살과 |
| 6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. | 6 Or of the disease which takes men in the dark, or of the destruction which makes waste when the sun is high.
| 7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. | 7 You will see a thousand falling by your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you.
| 8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. | 8 Only with your eyes will you see the reward of the evil-doers. | 8
| 9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; | 9 Because you have said, I am in the hands of the Lord, the Most High is my safe resting-place; | 9 네가 말하기를 여호와는 나의 피난처시라 하고 지존자로 거처를 삼았으므로 |
| 10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. | 10 No evil will come on you, and no disease will come near your tent.
| 11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. | 11 For he will give you into the care of his angels to keep you wherever you go.
| 12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. | 12 In their hands they will keep you up, so that your foot may not be crushed against a stone.
| 13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. | 13 You will put your foot on the lion and the snake; the young lion and the great snake will be crushed under your feet.
| 14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. | 14 Because he has given me his love, I will take him out of danger: I will put him in a place of honour, because he has kept my name in his heart.
| 15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. | 15 When his cry comes up to me, I will give him an answer: I will be with him in trouble; I will make him free from danger and give him honour.
| 16 With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation. | 16 With long life will he be rewarded; and I will let him see my salvation. | 16
