KJV BBE KRV
A Psalm of Asaph. Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart.1 Truly, God is good to Israel, even to such as are clean in heart.1
But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.2 But as for me, my feet had almost gone from under me; I was near to slipping;2
For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.3 Because of my envy of the men of pride, when I saw the well-being of the wrongdoers.3
For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm.4 For they have no pain; their bodies are fat and strong.4
They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men.5 They are not in trouble as others are; they have no part in the unhappy fate of men.5 타인과 같은 고난이 없고 타인과 같은 재앙도 없나니
Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment.6 For this reason pride is round them like a chain; they are clothed with violent behaviour as with a robe.6 그러므로 교만이 저희 목걸이요 강포가 저희의 입는 옷이며
Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish.7 Their eyes are bursting with fat; they have more than their heart's desire.7
They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily.8 Their thoughts are deep with evil designs; their talk from their seats of power is of cruel acts.8 저희는 능욕하며 악하게 압제하여 말하며 거만히 말하며
They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth.9 Their mouth goes up to heaven; their tongues go walking through the earth.9
Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them.10 For this reason they are full of bread; and water is ever flowing for them.10 그러므로 그 백성이 이리로 돌아와서 잔에 가득한 물을 다 마시며
And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High?11 And they say, How will the Lord see this? is there knowledge in the Most High?11
Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches.12 Truly, such are the sinners; they do well at all times, and their wealth is increased.12 볼지어다 이들은 악인이라 항상 평안하고 재물은 더 하도다
Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocency.13 As for me, I have made my heart clean to no purpose, washing my hands in righteousness;13 내가 내 마음을 정히 하며 내 손을 씻어 무죄하다 한 것이 실로 헛되도다
For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning.14 For I have been troubled all the day; every morning have I undergone punishment.14
If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend against the generation of thy children.15 If I would make clear what it is like, I would say, You are false to the generation of your children.15 내가 만일 스스로 이르기를 내가 이렇게 말하리라 하였더면 주의 아들들의 시대를 대하여 궤휼을 행하였으리이다
When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me;16 When my thoughts were turned to see the reason of this, it was a weariness in my eyes;16
Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.17 Till I went into God's holy place, and saw the end of the evil-doers.17
Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.18 You put their feet where there was danger of slipping, so that they go down into destruction.18 주께서 참으로 저희를 미끄러운 곳에 두시며 파멸에 던지시니
How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.19 How suddenly are they wasted! fears are the cause of their destruction.19 저희가 어찌 그리 졸지에 황폐되었는가 놀람으로 전멸하였나이다
As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image.20 As a dream when one is awake, they are ended; they are like an image gone out of mind when sleep is over.20 주여 사람이 깬 후에는 꿈을 무시함 같이 주께서 깨신 후에 저희 형상을 멸시하시리이다
Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins.21 My heart was made bitter, and I was pained by the bite of grief:21
So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.22 As for me, I was foolish, and without knowledge; I was like a beast before you.22 내가 이같이 우매 무지하니 주의 앞에 짐승이오나
Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.23 But still I am ever with you; you have taken me by my right hand.23
Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.24 Your wisdom will be my guide, and later you will put me in a place of honour.24
Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.25 Whom have I in heaven but you? and having you I have no desire for anything on earth.25 하늘에서는 주 외에 누가 내게 있으리요 땅에서는 주 밖에 나의 사모할 자 없나이다
My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.26 My flesh and my heart are wasting away: but God is the Rock of my heart and my eternal heritage.26 내 육체와 마음은 쇠잔하나 하나님은 내 마음의 반석이시요 영원한 분깃이시라
For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.27 For those who are far away from you will come to destruction: you will put an end to all those who have not kept faith with you.27 대저 주를 멀리하는 자는 망하리니 음녀같이 주를 떠난 자를 주께서 다 멸하셨나이다
But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.28 But it is good for me to come near to God: I have put my faith in the Lord God, so that I may make clear all his works.28 하나님께 가까이 함이 내게 복이라 내가 주 여호와를 나의 피난처로 삼아 주의 모든 행사를 전파하리이다
