등장인물: 하나님, 다윗.

핵심 단어: 악을 행하는 자들, v. 1, 그리고 의로운 자, v. 37.

KJV BBE KRV
A Psalm of David. Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.1 1 행악자를 인하여 불평하여 하지 말며 불의를 행하는 자를 투기하지 말지어다
For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.2 For they will quickly be cut down like grass, and become dry like the green plants.2 저희는 풀과 같이 속히 베임을 볼 것이며 푸른 채소 같이 쇠잔할 것임이로다
Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.3 Have faith in the Lord, and do good; be at rest in the land, and go after righteousness.3 여호와를 의뢰하여 선을 행하라 땅에 거하여 그의 성실로 식물을 삼을지어다
Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.4 So will your delight be in the Lord, and he will give you your heart's desires.4 또 여호와를 기뻐하라 저가 네 마음의 소원을 이루어 주시리로다
Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.5 Put your life in the hands of the Lord; have faith in him and he will do it.5 너의 길을 여호와께 맡기라 저를 의지하면 저가 이루시고
And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.6 And he will make your righteousness be seen like the light, and your cause like the shining of the sun.6 네 의를 빛같이 나타내시며 네 공의를 정오의 빛같이 하시리로다
Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.7 Take your rest in the Lord, waiting quietly for him; do not be angry because of the man who does well in his evil ways, and gives effect to his bad designs.7 여호와 앞에 잠잠하고 참아 기다리라 자기 길이 형통하며 악한 꾀를 이루는 자를 인하여 불평하여 말지어다
Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.8 Put an end to your wrath and be no longer bitter; do not give way to angry feeling which is a cause of sin.8 분을 그치고 노를 버리라 불평하여 말라 행악에 치우칠 뿐이라
For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.9 For the evil-doers will be cut off: but those who have faith in the Lord will have the earth for their heritage.9 대저 행악하는 자는 끊어질 것이나 여호와를 기대하는 자는 땅을 차지하리로다
For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.10 For in a short time the evil-doer will be gone: you will go searching for his place, and it will not be there.10 잠시 후에 악인이 없어지리니 네가 그곳을 자세히 살필지라도 없으리로다
But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.11 But the gentle will have the earth for their heritage; they will take their delight in peace without measure.11 오직 온유한 자는 땅을 차지하며 풍부한 화평으로 즐기리로다
The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.12 The sinner has evil designs against the upright, lifting up the voice of wrath against him.12 악인이 의인 치기를 꾀하고 향하여 그 이를 가는도다
The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming.13 He will be laughed at by the Lord, who sees that his day is coming.13 주께서 저를 웃으시리니 그 날의 이름을 보심이로다
The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.14 The evil-doers have taken out their swords, their bows are bent; for crushing the poor, and to put to death those who are upright in their ways.14 악인이 칼을 빼고 활을 당기어 가난하고 궁핍한 자를 엎드러뜨리며 행위가 정직한 자를 죽이고자 하나
Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.15 But their swords will be turned into their hearts, and their bows will be broken.15 그 칼은 자기의 마음을 찌르고 그 활은 부러지리로다
A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.16 The little which the good man has is better than the wealth of evil-doers.16 의인의 적은 소유가 많은 악인의 풍부함보다 승하도다
For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous.17 For the arms of the evil-doers will be broken: but the Lord is the support of the good.17 악인의 팔은 부러지나 의인은 여호와께서 붙드시는도다
The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.18 The days of the upright are numbered by the Lord, and their heritage will be for ever.18 여호와께서 완전한 자의 날을 아시니 저희 기업은 영원하리로다
They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.19 They will not be shamed in the evil time, and in the days when all are in need of food they will have enough.19 저희는 환난 때에 부끄럽지 아니하며 기근의 날에도 풍족하려니와
But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.20 But the wrongdoers will come to destruction, and the haters of the Lord will be like the fat of lambs, they will be burned up; they will go up in smoke, and never again be seen.20 악인은 멸망하고 여호와의 원수는 어린 양의 기름 같이 타서 연기 되어 없어지리로다
The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous showeth mercy, and giveth.21 The sinner takes money and does not give it back; but the upright man has mercy, and gives to others.21 악인은 꾸고 갚지 아니하나 의인은 은혜를 베풀고 주는도다
For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.22 Those who have his blessing will have the earth for their heritage; but those who are cursed by him will be cut off.22 주의 복을 받은 자는 땅을 차지하고 주의 저주를 받은 자는 끊어지리로다
The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and he takes delight in his way.23 여호와께서 사람의 걸음을 정하시고 그 길을 기뻐하시나니
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.24 Even if he has a fall he will not be without help: for the hand of the Lord is supporting him.24 저는 넘어지나 아주 엎드러지지 아니함은 여호와께서 손으로 붙드심이로다
I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.25 I have been young, and now am old, but I have not seen the good man without help, or his children looking for bread.25 내가 어려서부터 늙기까지 의인이 버림을 당하거나 그 자손이 걸식함을 보지 못하였도다
He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.26 All the day he is ready to have mercy and to give; his children are a blessing.26 저는 종일토록 은혜를 베풀고 꾸어주니 그 자손이 복을 받는도다
Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.27 Be turned from evil, and do good; and your place will be for ever.27 악에서 떠나 선을 행하라 그리하면 영영히 거하리니
For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.28 For the Lord is a lover of righteousness, and takes care of his saints; they will be kept safe for ever; but the seed of the evil-doers will be cut off.28 여호와께서 공의를 사랑하시고 그 성도를 버리지 아니하심이로다 저희는 영영히 보호를 받으나 악인의 자손은 끊어지리로다
The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.29 The upright will have the earth for their heritage, and will go on living there for ever.29 의인이 땅을 차지함이여 거기 영영히 거하리로다
The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.30 The mouth of the good man says words of wisdom; the talk of his tongue is of righteousness.30 의인의 입은 지혜를 말하고 그 혀는 공의를 이르며
The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.31 The law of his God is in his heart; he will never make a false step.31 그 마음에는 하나님의 법이 있으니 그 걸음에 실족함이 없으리로다
The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him.32 The sinners are watching the upright man, desiring to put him to death.32 악인이 의인을 엿보아 살해할 기회를 찾으나
The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.33 The Lord will not give him into their hands, or be against him when he is judged.33 여호와는 저를 그 손에 버려두지 아니하시고 재판 때에도 정죄치 아니하시리로다
Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.34 Be waiting for the Lord, and keep his way; and you will be lifted up, and have the land for your heritage: when the evil-doers are cut off, you will see it.34 여호와를 바라고 그 도를 지키라 그리하면 너를 들어 땅을 차지하게 하실 것이라 악인이 끊어질 때에 네가 목도하리로다
I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree.35 I have seen the evil-doer in great power, covering the earth like a great tree.35 내가 악인의 큰 세력을 본즉 그 본토에 선 푸른 나무의 무성함 같으나
Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.36 But he came to an end, and there was no sign of him; I made a search for him and he was not there.36 사람이 지날 때에 저가 없어졌으니 내가 찾아도 발견치 못하였도다
Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.37 Give attention to the good man, and take note of the upright; because the end of that man is peace.37 완전한 사람을 살피고 정직한 자를 볼찌어다 화평한 자의 결국은 평안이로다
But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.38 But as for the sinners, they will be cut off together; the end of the wrongdoers is destruction.38 범죄자들은 함께 멸망하리니 악인의 결국은 끊어질 것이나
But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.39 But the Lord is the saviour of the upright: he is their strength in the time of trouble.39 의인의 구원은 여호와께 있으니 그는 환난 때에 저희 산성이시로다
And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.40 And the Lord will be their help, and keep them safe: he will take them out of the hands of the evil-doers, and be their saviour, because they had faith in him.40 여호와께서 저희를 도와 건지시되 악인에게서 건져 구원하심은 그를 의지한 연고로다
