1A Psalm of David.] The LORD [is] my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD [is] the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

1 여호와는 나의 빛이요 나의 구원이시니 내가 누구를 두려워하리요 여호와는 내 생명의 능력이시니 내가 누구를 무서워하리요
2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
2 When evil-doers, even my haters, came on me to put an end to me, they were broken and put to shame.
2 나의 대적, 나의 원수된 행악자가 내 살을 먹으려고 내게로 왔다가 실족하여 넘어졌도다
3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I beconfident.
3 Even if an army came against me with its tents, my heart would have no fear: if war was made on me, my faith would not be moved.
3 군대가 나를 대적하여 진 칠찌라도 내 마음이 두렵지 아니하며 전쟁이 일어나 나를 치려 할찌라도 내가 오히려 안연하리로다
4Onething have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple.
4 One prayer have I made to the Lord, and this is my heart's desire; that I may have a place in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, looking on his glory, and getting wisdom in his Temple.
4 내가 여호와께 청하였던 한 가지 일 곧 그것을 구하리니 곧 나로 내 생전에 여호와의 집에 거하여 여호와의 아름다움을 앙망하며 그 전에서 사모하게 하실 것이라
5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
5 For in the time of trouble he will keep me safe in his tent: in the secret place of his tent he will keep me from men's eyes; high on a rock he will put me.
5 여호와께서 환난 날에 나를 그 초막 속에 비밀히 지키시고 그 장막 은밀한 곳에 나를 숨기시며 바위 위에 높이 두시리로다
6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernaclesacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.
6 And now my head will be lifted up higher than my haters who are round me: because of this I will make offerings of joy in his tent; I will make a song, truly I will make a song of praise to the Lord.
6 이제 내 머리가 나를 두른 내 원수 위에 들리리니 내가 그 장막에서 즐거운 제사를 드리겠고 노래하여 여호와를 찬송하리로다
7Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.
7 O Lord, let the voice of my cry come to your ears: have mercy on me, and give me an answer.
7 여호와여 내가 소리로 부르짖을 때에 들으시고 또한 나를 긍휼히 여기사 응답하소서
8When thou saidst,Seek ye my face; my heartsaid unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.
8 When you said, Make search for my face, my heart said to you, For your face will I make my search.
8 너희는 내 얼굴을 찾으라 하실 때에 내 마음이 주께 말하되 여호와여 내가 주의 얼굴을 찾으리이다 하였나이다
9Hide not thy facefar from me; put not thy servantaway in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.
9 Let not your face be covered from me; do not put away your servant in wrath; you have been my help: do not give me up or take your support from me, O God of my salvation.
9 주의 얼굴을 내게서 숨기지 마시고 주의 종을 노하여 버리지 마소서 주는 나의 도움이 되셨나이다 나의 구원의 하나님이시여 나를 버리지 말고 떠나지 마옵소서
10 When my father and my motherforsake me, then the LORD will take me up.
10 When my father and my mother are turned away from me, then the Lord will be my support.
10 내 부모는 나를 버렸으나 여호와는 나를 영접하시리이다
11Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plainpath, because of mine enemies.
11 Make your way clear to me, O Lord, guiding me by the right way, because of my haters.
11 여호와여 주의 길로 나를 가르치시고 내 원수를 인하여 평탄한 길로 인도하소서
12Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for falsewitnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe outcruelty.
12 Do not give me into their hands, because false witnesses have come out against me, and men breathing destruction.
12 내 생명을 내 대적의 뜻에 맡기지 마소서 위증자와 악을 토하는 자가 일어나 나를 치려 함이니이다
13I had fainted,unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
13 I had almost given up my hope of seeing the blessing of the Lord in the land of the living.
13 내가 산 자의 땅에 있음이여 여호와의 은혜 볼 것을 믿었도다
14Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
14 Let your hope be in the Lord: take heart and be strong; yes, let your hope be in the Lord.
