| 1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?
| 2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me? | 2 How long is my soul to be in doubt, with sorrow in my heart all the day? how long will he who is against me be given power over me?
| 3 Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death; | 3 Let my voice come before you, and give me an answer, O Lord my God; let your light be shining on me, so that the sleep of death may not overtake me; | 3 여호와 내 하나님이여 나를 생각하사 응답하시고 나의 눈을 밝히소서 두렵건대 내가 사망의 잠을 잘까 하오며 |
| 4 Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved. | 4 And he who is against me may not say, I have overcome him; and those who are troubling me may not be glad when I am moved.
| 5 But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation. | 5 But I have had faith in your mercy; my heart will be glad in your salvation.
| 6 I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me. | 6 I will make a song to the Lord, because he has given me my reward. | 6
