| 2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. | 2 His seed will be strong on the earth; blessings will be on the generation of the upright. | 2 그 후손이 땅에서 강성함이여 정직자의 후대가 복이 있으리로다 |
| 3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever. | 3 A store of wealth will be in his house, and his righteousness will be for ever. | 3 부요와 재물이 그 집에 있음이여 그 의가 영원히 있으리로다 |
| 4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. | 4 For the upright there is a light shining in the dark; he is full of grace and pity. | 4 정직한 자에게는 흑암 중에 빛이 일어나나니 그는 어질고 자비하고 의로운 자로다 |

| 7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD. | 7 He will have no fear of evil news; his heart is fixed, for his hope is in the Lord. | 7 그는 흉한 소식을 두려워 아니함이여 여호와를 의뢰하고 그 마음을 굳게 정하였도다 |
| 8 His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies. | 8 His heart is resting safely, he will have no fear, till he sees trouble come on his haters. | 8 그 마음이 견고하여 두려워 아니할 것이라 그 대적의 받는 보응을 필경 보리로다 |
| 9 He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour. | 9 He has given with open hands to the poor; his righteousness is for ever; his horn will be lifted up with honour. | 9 저가 재물을 흩어 빈궁한 자에게 주었으니 그 의가 영원히 있고 그 뿔이 영화로이 들리리로다 |
