1Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he isgood: for his mercyendureth for ever.
1 Let the Lord be praised. O give praise to the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy is unchanging for ever.
1 할렐루야 여호와께 감사하라 그는 선하시며 그 인자하심이 영원함이로다
2 Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? who can show forth all his praise?
2 Who is able to give an account of the great acts of the Lord, or to make clear all his praise?
2 뉘 능히 여호와의 능하신 사적을 전파하며 그 영예를 다 광포할꼬
3Blessedare they that keepjudgment, and he that doethrighteousness at all times.
3 Happy are they whose decisions are upright, and he who does righteousness at all times.
3 공의를 지키는 자들과 항상 의를 행하는 자는 복이 있도다
4Remember me, O LORD, with the favourthat thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;
4 Keep me in mind, O Lord, when you are good to your people; O let your salvation come to me;
4 여호와여 주의 백성에게 베푸시는 은혜로 나를 기억하시며 주의 구원으로 나를 권고하사
5 That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.
5 So that I may see the well-being of the people of your selection, and have a part in the joy of your nation, and take pride in your heritage.
5 나로 주의 택하신 자의 형통함을 보고 주의 나라의 기쁨으로 즐거워하게 하시며 주의 기업과 함께 자랑하게 하소서
6 We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.
6 We are sinners like our fathers, we have done wrong, our acts are evil.
6 우리가 열조와 함께 범죄하여 사특을 행하며 악을 지었나이다
7 Our fathersunderstood not thy wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of thy mercies; but provokedhim at the sea, even at the Redsea.
7 Our fathers did not give thought to your wonders in Egypt; they did not keep in memory the great number of your mercies, but gave you cause for wrath at the sea, even at the Red Sea.
7 우리 열조가 애굽에서 주의 기사를 깨닫지 못하며 주의 많은 인자를 기억지 아니하고 바다 곧 홍해에서 거역하였나이다
8 Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.
8 But he was their saviour because of his name, so that men might see his great power.
8 그러나 여호와께서 자기 이름을 위하여 저희를 구원하셨으니 그 큰 권능을 알게 하려 하심이로다
9 He rebuked the Redsea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.
9 By his word the Red Sea was made dry: and he took them through the deep waters as through the waste land.
9 이에 홍해를 꾸짖으시니 곧 마르매 저희를 인도하여 바다 지나기를 광야를 지남 같게 하사
10 And he saved them from the hand of him that hatedthem, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
10 And he took them safely out of the hands of their haters, and kept them from the attacks of those who were against them.
10 저희를 그 미워하는 자의 손에서 구원하시며 그 원수의 손에서 구속하셨고
11 And the waterscovered their enemies: there was not one of them left.
11 And the waters went over their haters; all of them came to an end.
11 저희 대적은 물이 덮으매 하나도 남지 아니하였도다
12 Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.
12 Then they had faith in his words; they gave him songs of praise.
12 이에 저희가 그 말씀을 믿고 그 찬송을 불렀도다
13 They soonforgat his works; they waited not for his counsel:
13 But their memory of his works was short; not waiting to be guided by him,
13 저희가 미구에 그 행사를 잊어버리며 그 가르침을 기다리지 아니하고
14 But lustedexceedingly in the wilderness, and temptedGod in the desert.
14 They gave way to their evil desires in the waste land, and put God to the test in the dry places.
14 광야에서 욕심을 크게 발하며 사막에서 하나님을 시험하였도다
15 And he gave them their request; but sentleanness into their soul.
15 And he gave them their request, but sent a wasting disease into their souls.
15 여호와께서 저희의 요구한 것을 주셨을찌라도 그 영혼을 파리하게 하셨도다
16 They enviedMoses also in the camp, andAaron the saint of the LORD.
16 They were full of envy against Moses among the tents, and against Aaron, the holy one of the Lord.
16 저희가 진에서 모세와 여호와의 성도 아론을 질투하매
17 The earthopened and swallowed upDathan, and covered the company of Abiram.
17 The earth opening put an end to Dathan, covering up Abiram and his band.
17 땅이 갈라져 다단을 삼키며 아비람의 당을 덮었으며
18 And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.
18 And a fire was lighted among their tents; the sinners were burned up by the flames.
18 불이 그 당 중에 붙음이여 화염이 악인을 살랐도다
19 They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.
19 They made a young ox in Horeb, and gave worship to an image of gold.
19 저희가 호렙에서 송아지를 만들고 부어 만든 우상을 숭배하여
20 Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eatethgrass.
20 And their glory was changed into the image of an ox, whose food is grass.
20 자기 영광을 풀 먹는 소의 형상으로 바꾸었도다
21 They forgatGod their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;
21 They had no memory of God their saviour, who had done great things in Egypt;
21 애굽에서 큰 일을 행하신 그 구원자 하나님을 저희가 잊었나니
22 Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Redsea.
22 Works of wonder in the land of Ham, and things of fear by the Red Sea.
22 그는 함 땅에서 기사와 홍해에서 놀랄 일을 행하신 자로다
23 Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had notMoses his chosenstoodbefore him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroythem.
23 And he was purposing to put an end to them if Moses, his special servant, had not gone up before him, between him and his people, turning back his wrath, to keep them from destruction.
23 그러므로 여호와께서 저희를 멸하리라 하셨으나 그 택하신 모세가 그 결렬된 중에서 그 앞에 서서 그 노를 돌이켜 멸하시지 않게 하였도다
24 Yea, they despised the pleasantland, they believed not his word:
24 They were disgusted with the good land; they had no belief in his word;
24 저희가 낙토를 멸시하며 그 말씀을 믿지 아니하고
25 But murmured in their tents, andhearkened not unto the voice of the LORD.
25 Talking against him secretly in their tents, they did not give ear to the voice of the Lord.
25 저희 장막에서 원망하며 여호와의 말씀을 청종치 아니하였도다
26 Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness:
26 So he made an oath against them, to put an end to them in the waste land:
26 이러므로 저가 맹세하시기를 저희로 광야에 엎더지게 하고
27 To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands.
27 That their children might be mixed among the nations, and sent away into other lands.
27 또 그 후손을 열방 중에 엎드러뜨리며 각지에 흩어지게 하리라 하셨도다
28 They joined themselves also unto Baalpeor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
28 And they were joined to Baal-peor, and took part in the offerings to the dead.
28 저희가 또 바알브올과 연합하여 죽은 자에게 제사한 음식을 먹어서
29 Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them.
29 So they made him angry by their behaviour; and he sent disease on them.
29 그 행위로 주를 격노케 함을 인하여 재앙이 그 중에 유행하였도다
30 Then stood upPhinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed.
30 Then Phinehas got up, and made prayer for them; and the disease went no farther.
30 때에 비느하스가 일어나 처벌하니 이에 재앙이 그쳤도다
31 And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto allgenerationsforevermore.
31 And all the generations coming after him kept the memory of his righteousness for ever.
31 이 일을 저에게 의로 정하였으니 대대로 무궁하리로다
32 They angeredhim also at the waters of strifeㆍ, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes:
32 They made God angry again at the waters of Meribah, so that Moses was troubled because of them;
32 저희가 또 므리바 물에서 여호와를 노하시게 하였으므로 저희로 인하여 얼이 모세에게 미쳤나니
33 Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spake unadvisedly with his lips.
33 For they made his spirit bitter, and he said unwise things.
33 이는 저희가 그 심령을 거역함을 인하여 모세가 그 입술로 망령되이 말하였음이로다
34 They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORDcommanded them:
34 They did not put an end to the peoples, as the Lord had said;
34 저희가 여호와의 명을 좇지 아니하여 이족들을 멸하지 아니하고
35 But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.
35 But they were joined to the nations, learning their works.
35 열방과 섞여서 그 행위를 배우며
36 And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.
36 And they gave worship to images; which were a danger to them:
36 그 우상들을 섬기므로 그것이 저희에게 올무가 되었도다
37 Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,
37 They even made offerings of their sons and their daughters to evil spirits,
37 저희가 그 자녀로 사신에게 제사하였도다
38 And shedinnocentblood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.
38 And gave the blood of their sons and their daughters who had done no wrong, offering them to the images of Canaan; and the land was made unclean with blood.
38 무죄한 피 곧 저희 자녀의 피를 흘려 가나안 우상에게 제사하므로 그 땅이 피에 더러웠도다
39 Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.
39 So they became unclean through their works, going after their evil desires.
39 저희는 그 행위로 더러워지며 그 행동이 음탕하도다
40 Therefore was the wrath of the LORDkindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.
40 Then the wrath of the Lord was burning against his people, and he was angry with his heritage.
40 그러므로 여호와께서 자기 백성에게 맹렬히 노하시며 자기 기업을 미워하사
41 And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.
41 And he gave them into the hands of the nations; and they were ruled by their haters.
41 저희를 열방의 손에 붙이시매 저희를 미워하는 자들이 저희를 치리하였도다
42 Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.
42 By them they were crushed, and made low under their hands.
42 저희가 원수들의 압박을 받고 그 수하에 복종케 되었도다
43Manytimes did he deliver them; but they provokedhim with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity.
43 Again and again he made them free; but their hearts were turned against his purpose, and they were overcome by their sins.
43 여호와께서 여러번 저희를 건지시나 저희가 꾀로 거역하며 자기 죄악으로 인하여 낮아짐을 당하였도다
44 Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:
44 But when their cry came to his ears, he had pity on their trouble:
44 그러나 여호와께서 저희의 부르짖음을 들으실 때에 그 고통을 권고하시며
45 And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.
45 And kept in mind his agreement with them, and in his great mercy gave them forgiveness.
45 저희를 위하여 그 언약을 기억하시고 그 많은 인자하심을 따라 뜻을 돌이키사
46 He made them also to be pitiedof all those that carried them captives.
46 He put pity into the hearts of those who made them prisoners.
46 저희로 사로잡은 모든 자에게서 긍휼히 여김을 받게 하셨도다
47Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holyname, and to triumph in thy praise.
47 Be our saviour, O Lord our God, and let us come back together from among the nations, so that we may give honour to your holy name, and have glory in your praise.
47 여호와 우리 하나님이여 우리를 구원하사 열방 중에서 모으시고 우리로 주의 성호를 감사하며 주의 영예를 찬양하게 하소서
48Blessedbe the LORDGod of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the peoplesay, Amen. Praise ye the LORD.
48 Praise be to the Lord God of Israel for ever and for ever; and let all the people say, So be it. Give praise to the Lord.
48 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님을 영원부터 영원까지 찬양할찌어다 모든 백성들아 아멘 할찌어다 할렐루야
