O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.1 O give praise to the Lord; give honour to his name, talking of his doings among the peoples.1 여호와께 감사하며 그 이름을 불러 아뢰며 그 행사를 만민 중에 알게 할찌어다
Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.2 Let your voice be sounding in songs and melody; let all your thoughts be of the wonder of his works.2 그에게 노래하며 그를 찬양하며 그의 모든 기사를 말할찌어다
Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.3 Have glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who are searching after the Lord be glad.3 그 성호를 자랑하라 무릇 여호와를 구하는 자는 마음이 즐거울찌로다
Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.4 Let your search be for the Lord and for his strength; let your hearts ever be turned to him.4 여호와와 그 능력을 구할찌어다 그 얼굴을 항상 구할찌어다
Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;5 Keep in mind the great works which he has done; his wonders, and the decisions of his mouth;5 그 종 아브라함의 후손 곧 택하신 야곱의 자손 너희는 그의 행하신 기사와 그 이적과 그 입의 판단을 기억할찌어다
O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.6 O you seed of Abraham, his servant, you children of Jacob, his loved ones.6 (5
He is the LORD our God: his judgments are in all the earth.7 He is the Lord our God: he is judge of all the earth.7
He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.8 He has kept his agreement in mind for ever, the word which he gave for a thousand generations;8 그는 그 언약 곧 천대에 명하신 말씀을 영원히 기억하셨으니
Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;9 The agreement which he made with Abraham, and his oath to Isaac;9
And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:10 And he gave it to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an eternal agreement;10
Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:11 Saying, To you will I give the land of Canaan, the measured line of your heritage:11 이르시기를 내가 가나안 땅을 네게 주어 너희 기업의 지경이 되게 하리라 하셨도다
When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it.12 When they were still small in number, and strange in the land;12
When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;13 When they went about from one nation to another, and from one kingdom to another people.13 이 족속에게서 저 족속에게로, 이 나라에서 다른 민족에게로 유리하였도다
He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;14 He would not let anyone do them wrong; he even kept back kings because of them,14 사람이 그들을 해하기를 용납지 아니하시고 그들의 연고로 열왕을 꾸짖어
Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.15 Saying, Put not your hand on those who have been marked with my holy oil, and do my prophets no wrong.15 이르시기를 나의 기름 부은 자를 만지지 말며 나의 선지자를 상하지 말라 하셨도다
Moreover he called for a famine upon the land: he brake the whole staff of bread.16 And he took away all food from the land, so that the people were without bread.16 그가 또 기근을 불러 그 땅에 임하게 하여 그 의뢰하는 양식을 다 끊으셨도다
He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:17 He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was given as a servant for a price:17
Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:18 His feet were fixed in chains; his neck was put in iron bands;18
Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him.19 Till the time when his word came true; he was tested by the word of the Lord.19
The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.20 The king sent men to take off his chains; even the ruler of the people, who let him go free.20 왕이 사람을 보내어 저를 방석함이여 열방의 통치자가 저로 자유케 하였도다
He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance:21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler over everything he had;21
To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.22 To give his chiefs teaching at his pleasure, and so that his law-givers might get wisdom from him.22 임의로 백관을 제어하며 지혜로 장로들을 교훈하게 하였도다
Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.23 Then Israel came into Egypt, and Jacob was living in the land of Ham.23
And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.24 And his people were greatly increased, and became stronger than those who were against them.24 여호와께서 그 백성을 크게 번성케 하사 그들의 대적보다 강하게 하셨으며
He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtly with his servants.25 Their hearts were turned to hate against his people, so that they made secret designs against them.25 또 저희 마음을 변하여 그 백성을 미워하게 하시며 그 종들에게 교활히 행하게 하셨도다
He sent Moses his servant; and Aaron whom he had chosen.26 He sent Moses, his servant, and Aaron, the man of his selection.26
They showed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.27 He let his signs be seen among the people, and his wonders in the land of Ham.27
He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.28 He sent black night and made it dark; and they did not go against his word.28
He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.29 At his word their waters were turned to blood, and he sent death on all their fish.29
Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings.30 Their land was full of frogs, even in the rooms of the king.30
He spake, and there came divers sorts of flies, and lice in all their coasts.31 He gave the word, and there came the dog-fly, and insects over all the land.31
He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.32 He gave them ice for rain, and flaming fire in their land.32
He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts.33 He gave their vines and their fig-trees to destruction, and the trees of their land were broken down.33 저희 포도나무와 무화과나무를 치시며 저희 사경의 나무를 찍으셨도다
He spake, and the locusts came, and caterpillars, and that without number,34 At his word the locusts came, and young locusts more than might be numbered,34
And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.35 And put an end to all the plants of their land, taking all the fruit of the earth for food.35 저희 땅에 모든 채소를 먹으며 그 밭에 열매를 먹었도다
He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.36 He put to death the first child of every family in the land, the first-fruits of their strength.36 여호와께서 또 저희 땅의 모든 장자를 치시니 곧 저희 모든 기력의 시작이로다
He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.37 He took his people out with silver and gold: there was not one feeble person among them.37 그들을 인도하여 은금을 가지고 나오게 하시니 그 지파 중에 약한 자가 하나도 없었도다
Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.38 Egypt was glad when they went; for the fear of them had come down on them.38 그들의 떠날 때에 애굽이 기뻐하였으니 저희가 그들을 두려워함이로다
He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night.39 A cloud was stretched over them for a cover; and he sent fire to give light in the night.39
The people asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.40 At the people's request he sent birds, and gave them the bread of heaven for food.40 그들이 구한즉 메추라기로 오게 하시며 또 하늘 양식으로 그들을 만족케 하셨도다
He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places like a river.41 His hand made the rock open, and the waters came streaming out; they went down through the dry places like a river.41 반석을 가르신즉 물이 흘러나서 마른 땅에 강 같이 흘렀으니
For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant.42 For he kept in mind his holy word, and Abraham, his servant.42
And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:43 And he took his people out with joy, the men of his selection with glad cries:43
And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labour of the people;44 And gave them the lands of the nations; and they took the work of the peoples for a heritage;44 열방의 땅을 저희에게 주시며 민족들의 수고한 것을 소유로 취하게 하셨으니
That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the LORD.45 So that they might keep his orders, and be true to his laws.
