KJV BBE KRV
If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,1 If then there is any comfort in Christ, any help given by love, any uniting of hearts in the Spirit, any loving mercies and pity,1 그러므로 그리스도 안에 무슨 권면이나 사랑에 무슨 위로나 성령의 무슨 교제나 긍휼이나 자비가 있거든
Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded , having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.2 Make my joy complete by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in harmony and of one mind;2 마음을 같이 하여 같은 사랑을 가지고 뜻을 합하며 한 마음을 품어
Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.3 Doing nothing through envy or through pride, but with low thoughts of self let everyone take others to be better than himself;3 아무 일에든지 다툼이나 허영으로 하지 말고 오직 겸손한 마음으로 각각 자기보다 남을 낫게 여기고
Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.4 Not looking everyone to his private good, but keeping in mind the things of others.4 각각 자기 일을 돌아볼 뿐더러 또한 각각 다른 사람들의 일을 돌아보아 나의 기쁨을 충만케 하라
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:5 Let this mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus,5 너희 안에 이 마음을 품으라 곧 그리스도 예수의 마음이니
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:6 To whom, though himself in the form of God, it did not seem that to take for oneself was to be like God;6 그는 근본 하나님의 본체시나 하나님과 동등됨을 취할 것으로 여기지 아니하시고
But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:7 But he made himself as nothing, taking the form of a servant, being made like men;7 오히려 자기를 비어 종의 형체를 가져 사람들과 같이 되었고
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.8 And being seen in form as a man, he took the lowest place, and let himself be put to death, even the death of the cross.8 사람의 모양으로 나타나셨으매 자기를 낮추시고 죽기까지 복종하셨으니 곧 십자가에 죽으심이라
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:9 For this reason God has put him in the highest place and has given to him the name which is greater than every name;9 이러므로 하나님이 그를 지극히 높여 모든 이름 위에 뛰어난 이름을 주사
That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;10 So that at the name of Jesus every knee may be bent, of those in heaven and those on earth and those in the underworld,10 하늘에 있는 자들과 땅에 있는 자들과 땅 아래 있는 자들로 모든 무릎을 예수의 이름에 꿇게 하시고
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.11 And that every tongue may give witness that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.11 모든 입으로 예수 그리스도를 주라 시인하여 하나님 아버지께 영광을 돌리게 하셨느니라
Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.12 So then, my loved ones, as you have at all times done what I say, not only when I am present, but now much more when I am not with you, give yourselves to working out your salvation with fear in your hearts;12 그러므로 나의 사랑하는 자들아 너희가 나 있을 때 뿐아니라 더욱 지금 나 없을 때에도 항상 복종하여 두렵고 떨림으로 너희 구원을 이루라
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.13 For it is God who is the cause of your desires and of your acts, for his good pleasure.13 너희 안에서 행하시는 이는 하나님이시니 자기의 기쁘신 뜻을 위하여 너희로 소원을 두고 행하게 하시나니
Do all things without murmurings and disputings:14 Do all things without protests and arguments;14 모든 일을 원망과 시비가 없이 하라
That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;15 So that you may be holy and gentle, children of God without sin in a twisted and foolish generation, among whom you are seen as lights in the world,15 이는 너희가 흠이 없고 순전하여 어그러지고 거스리는 세대 가운데서 하나님의 흠 없는 자녀로 세상에서 그들 가운데 빛들로 나타내며
Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.16 Offering the word of life; so that I may have glory in you in the day of Christ, because my running was not for nothing and my work was not without effect.16 생명의 말씀을 밝혀 나의 달음질도 헛되지 아니하고 수고도 헛되지 아니함으로 그리스도의 날에 나로 자랑할 것이 있게 하려 함이라
Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all.17 And even if I am offered like a drink offering, giving myself for the cause and work of your faith, I am glad and have joy with you all:17 만일 너희 믿음의 제물과 봉사 위에 내가 나를 관제로 드릴찌라도 나는 기뻐하고 너희 무리와 함께 기뻐하리니
For the same cause also do ye joy, and rejoice with me.18 And in the same way do you be glad and have a part in my joy.18 이와 같이 너희도 기뻐하고 나와 함께 기뻐하라
But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timotheus shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state.19 But I am hoping in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you before long, so that I may be comforted when I have news of you.19 내가 디모데를 속히 너희에게 보내기를 주 안에서 바람은 너희 사정을 앎으로 안위를 받으려 함이니
For I have no man likeminded, who will naturally care for your state.20 For I have no man of like mind who will truly have care for you.20 이는 뜻을 같이 하여 너희 사정을 진실히 생각할 자가 이 밖에 내게 없음이라
For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ's.21 For they all go after what is theirs, not after the things of Christ.21 저희가 다 자기 일을 구하고 그리스도 예수의 일을 구하지 아니하되
But ye know the proof of him, that, as a son with the father, he hath served with me in the gospel.22 But his quality is clear to you; how, as a child is to its father, so he was a help to me in the work of the good news.22 디모데의 연단을 너희가 아나니 자식이 아비에게 함같이 나와 함께 복음을 위하여 수고하였느니라
Him therefore I hope to send presently, so soon as I shall see how it will go with me.23 Him then I am hoping to send as quickly as possible, when I am able to see how things will go for me:23 그러므로 내가 내 일이 어떻게 될 것을 보아서 곧 이 사람을 보내기를 바라고
But I trust in the Lord that I also myself shall come shortly.24 But I have faith in the Lord that I myself will come before long.24 나도 속히 가기를 주 안에서 확신하노라
Yet I supposed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and companion in labour, and fellowsoldier, but your messenger, and he that ministered to my wants.25 But it seemed to me necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, who has taken part with me in the work and in the fight, and your servant, sent by you for help in my need;25 그러나 에바브로디도를 너희에게 보내는 것이 필요한 줄로 생각하노니 그는 나의 형제요 함께 수고하고 함께 군사된 자요 너희 사자로 나의 쓸 것을 돕는 자라
For he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because that ye had heard that he had been sick.26 Because his heart was with you all, and he was greatly troubled because you had news that he was ill:26 그가 너희 무리를 간절히 사모하고 자기 병든 것을 너희가 들은 줄을 알고 심히 근심한지라
For indeed he was sick nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.27 For in fact he was ill almost to death: but God had mercy on him; and not only on him but on me, so that I might not have grief on grief.27 저가 병들어 죽게 되었으나 하나님이 저를 긍휼히 여기셨고 저뿐 아니라 또 나를 긍휼히 여기사 내 근심 위에 근심을 면하게 하셨느니라
I sent him therefore the more carefully, that, when ye see him again, ye may rejoice, and that I may be the less sorrowful.28 I have sent him, then, the more gladly, so that when you see him again, you may be happy and I may have the less sorrow.28 그러므로 내가 더욱 급히 저를 보낸 것은 너희로 저를 다시 보고 기뻐하게 하며 내 근심도 덜려 함이니
Receive him therefore in the Lord with all gladness; and hold such in reputation:29 So take him to your hearts in the Lord with all joy, and give honour to such as he is:29 이러므로 너희가 주 안에서 모든 기쁨으로 저를 영접하고 또 이와 같은 자들을 존귀히 여기라
Because for the work of Christ he was nigh unto death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me.30 Because for the work of Christ he was near to death, putting his life in danger to make your care for me complete.30 저가 그리스도의 일을 위하여 죽기에 이르러도 자기 목숨을 돌아보지 아니한 것은 나를 섬기는 너희의 일에 부족함을 채우려 함이니라
