2Speak unto Aaron, and say unto him, When thou lightest the lamps, the sevenlamps shall give light over againstthecandlestick.[x]MKJV: Speak to Aaron, and say to him, When you bring the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light in front of the lampstand. BBE: Say to Aaron, When you put the lights in their places, the seven lights will give light in front of the support. 2 Say to Aaron, When you put the lights in their places, the seven lights will give light in front of the support.
2 아론에게 고하여 이르라 등을 켤 때에는 일곱 등잔을 등대 앞으로 비취게 할찌니라 하시매
3 And Aarondid so; he lighted the lamps thereof over againstthecandlestick, as the LORDcommandedMoses.[x]MKJV: And Aaron did so. He lighted its lamps in front of the lampstand, as the LORD commanded Moses. BBE: And Aaron did so; he put the lights in their places so that they gave light in front of the support, as the Lord gave orders to Moses. KAV: 아론이 그와 같이 하여 등잔대의 등잔들에 불을 켜서 등잔대 맞은편으로 비추게 하였으니 {주}께서 모세에게 명령하신 것과 같았더라.
3 And Aaron did so; he put the lights in their places so that they gave light in front of the support, as the Lord gave orders to Moses.
3 아론이 그리하여 등불을 등대 앞으로 비취도록 켰으니 여호와께서 모세에게 명하심과 같았더라
4 And this work of the candlestickwas ofbeatengold, unto the shaft thereof, unto the flowers thereof, was beaten work: according unto the pattern which the LORD had showedMoses, so he made the candlestick.[x]MKJV: And this work of the lampstand [was of] beaten gold, to its base and to its blossoms; it was beaten work. According to the pattern which the LORD had showed Moses, so he made the lampstand. BBE: The support for the lights was of hammered gold work, from its base to its flowers it was of hammered work; from the design which the Lord had given to Moses, he made the support for the lights. KAV: 이 등잔대는 금을 두들겨서 만들었으며 그것의 대에 이르기까지, 그것의 꽃들에 이르기까지 두들겨서 만들었더라. {주}께서 모세에게 보여 주신 양식을 따라 그가 그대로 등잔대를 만들었더라. 4 The support for the lights was of hammered gold work, from its base to its flowers it was of hammered work; from the design which the Lord had given to Moses, he made the support for the lights.
4 이 등대의 제도는 이러하니 곧 금을 쳐서 만든 것인데 밑판에서 그 꽃까지 쳐서 만든 것이라 모세가 여호와께서 자기에게 보이신 식양을 따라 이 등대를 만들었더라

6Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them.[x]MKJV: Take the Levites from among the sons of Israel, and purify them. 6 Take the Levites out from among the children of Israel and make them clean.
6 이스라엘 자손 중에서 레위인을 취하여 정결케 하라
7 And thus shalt thou do unto them, to cleanse them: Sprinklewater of purifying upon them, and let them shaveㆍ all their flesh, and let them wash their clothes, and so make themselves clean.[x]MKJV: And in this way shall you do to them to purify them. Sprinkle water of sin-offering on them, and let them shave all their flesh and wash their clothes, and make themselves clean. BBE: And this is how you are to make them clean: let the holy water which takes away sin be put on them, and let the hair all over their bodies be cut off with a sharp blade, and let their clothing be washed and their bodies made clean. 7 And this is how you are to make them clean: let the holy water which takes away sin be put on them, and let the hair all over their bodies be cut off with a sharp blade, and let their clothing be washed and their bodies made clean.
7 너는 이같이 하여 그들을 정결케 하되 곧 속죄의 물로 그들에게 뿌리고 그들로 그 전신을 삭도로 밀게 하고 그 의복을 빨게 하여 몸을 정결케 하고
8 Then let them take a youngㆍbullock with his meat offering, even fine flourmingled with oil, and anotheryoungㆍbullock shalt thou take for a sin offering.[x]MKJV: Then let them take a young bull with its food offering, fine flour mixed with oil, and another young bull shall you take for a sin offering. BBE: Then let them take a young ox and its meal offering, crushed grain mixed with oil, and take another ox for a sin-offering. 9 And thou shalt bring the Levitesbefore the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt gather the whole assembly of the children of Israeltogether:[x]MKJV: And you shall bring the Levites before the tabernacle of the congregation. And you shall gather the whole assembly of the sons of Israel together. 9 And make the Levites come forward in front of the Tent of meeting, and let all the children of Israel come together:

10 And thou shalt bring the Levitesbefore the LORD: and the children of Israel shall put their hands upon the Levites:[x]MKJV: And you shall bring the Levites before the LORD. And the sons of Israel shall put their hands upon the Levites. BBE: And you are to take the Levites before the Lord: and the children of Israel are to put their hands on them: KAV: 레위 사람들을 {주} 앞에 나오게 하며 이스라엘 자손이 레위 사람들에게 안수하게 하라. 10 And you are to take the Levites before the Lord: and the children of Israel are to put their hands on them:

11 And Aaron shall offer the Levitesbefore the LORDfor an offering of the children of Israel, that they may execute the service of the LORD.[x]MKJV: And Aaron shall offer the Levites before the LORD [for] an offering of the sons of Israel, so that they may do the service of the LORD. BBE: And Aaron is to give the Levites to the Lord as a wave offering from the children of Israel, so that they may do the Lord's work. 11 And Aaron is to give the Levites to the Lord as a wave offering from the children of Israel, so that they may do the Lord's work.
11 아론이 이스라엘 자손을 위하여 레위인을 요제로 여호와 앞에 드릴찌니 이는 그들로 여호와를 봉사케 하기 위함이라
12 And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks: and thou shalt offer the onefor a sin offering, and the otherfor a burnt offering, unto the LORD, to make an atonement for the Levites.[x]MKJV: And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bulls. And you shall offer the one [for] a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, to the LORD, to make an atonement for the Levites. BBE: And the Levites are to put their hands on the heads of the oxen, and one of the oxen is to be offered for a sin-offering and the other for a burned offering to the Lord to take away the sin of the Levites. 12 And the Levites are to put their hands on the heads of the oxen, and one of the oxen is to be offered for a sin-offering and the other for a burned offering to the Lord to take away the sin of the Levites.
12 레위인으로 수송아지들의 머리에 안수케 하고 네가 그 하나는 속죄제물로, 하나는 번제물로 여호와께 드려 레위인을 속죄하고
13 And thou shalt set the LevitesbeforeAaron, and before his sons, and offer them for an offering unto the LORD.[x]MKJV: And you shall set the Levites before Aaron, and before his sons, and offer them [for] an offering to the LORD. BBE: Then the Levites are to be put before Aaron and his sons, to be offered as a wave offering to the Lord. KAV: 레위 사람들을 아론과 그의 아들들 앞에 세워 {주}께 헌물로 드릴지니라. 13 Then the Levites are to be put before Aaron and his sons, to be offered as a wave offering to the Lord.

14 Thus shalt thou separate the Levites from among the children of Israel: and the Levites shall be mine.[x]MKJV: So you shall separate the Levites from among the sons of Israel. And the Levites shall be Mine. BBE: So you are to make the Levites separate from the children of Israel, and the Levites will be mine. KAV: 너는 이와 같이 이스라엘 자손 중에서 레위 사람들을 구별하라. 그리하면 레위 사람들이 내 것이 되리라. 14 So you are to make the Levites separate from the children of Israel, and the Levites will be mine.
14 너는 이같이 이스라엘 자손 중에서 레위인을 구별하라 그리하면 그들이 내게 속할 것이라
15 And after that shall the Levites go in to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt cleanse them, and offer them for an offering.[x]MKJV: And after that the Levites shall go in to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation. And you shall purify them and offer them [for] a wave offering. BBE: After that, the Levites will go in to do whatever has to be done in the Tent of meeting; you are to make them clean and give them as a wave offering. KAV: 그 뒤에 레위 사람들이 들어가서 회중의 성막에서 섬기는 일을 하리니 너는 그들을 정결하게 하여 그들을 헌물로 드리라. TSK: go in: nu 8:11, nu 3:23-37, nu 4:3-32, 1ch 23:1-32, 1ch 25:1-26; and offer: nu 8:11,13, nu 3:12
15 After that, the Levites will go in to do whatever has to be done in the Tent of meeting; you are to make them clean and give them as a wave offering.

16 For they are wholly given unto me from among the children of Israel; instead of such as open every womb, even instead of the firstborn of all the children of Israel, have I taken them unto me.[x]MKJV: For they [are] wholly given to Me from among the sons of Israel, instead of those that open every womb. The first-born of all the sons of Israel, I have taken them to Me. BBE: For they have been given to me from among the children of Israel; in place of every mother's first son, the first to come to birth in Israel, I have taken them for myself. 16 For they have been given to me from among the children of Israel; in place of every mother's first son, the first to come to birth in Israel, I have taken them for myself.
16 그들은 이스라엘 자손 중에서 내게 온전히 드린바 된 자라 이스라엘 자손 중 일절 초태생 곧 모든 처음 난 자의 대신으로 내가 그들을 취하였나니
17 For all the firstborn of the children of Israelare mine, bothman and beast: on the day that I smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself.[x]MKJV: For all the first-born of the sons of Israel [are] Mine, both man and animal. On the day that I struck every first-born in the land of Egypt I set them apart for Myself. BBE: For every mother's first son among the children of Israel is mine, the first male birth of man or beast: on the day when I sent death on all the first sons in the land of Egypt, I made them mine. 18 And I have taken the Levites for all the firstborn of the children of Israel.[x]MKJV: And I have taken the Levites for all the first-born of the sons of Israel. BBE: And in place of the first sons among the children of Israel, I have taken the Levites. KAV: 내가 이스라엘 자손 중에서 처음 난 모든 자를 대신하여 레위 사람들을 취하였느니라.
18 And in place of the first sons among the children of Israel, I have taken the Levites.
18 이러므로 내가 이스라엘 자손 중 모든 처음 난 자의 대신으로 레위인을 취하였느니라
19 And I have given the Levitesas a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel: that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come nigh unto the sanctuary.[x]MKJV: And I have given the Levites [as] a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the sons of Israel, to do the service of the sons of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the sons of Israel, so that there may be no plague among the sons of Israel when the sons of Israel come near the sanctuary. BBE: And I have given them to Aaron and to his sons, from among the children of Israel, to undertake for them all the work of the Tent of meeting, and to take away sin from the children of Israel so that no evil may come on them when they come near the holy place. KAV: 내가 이스라엘 자손 중에서 레위 사람들을 아론과 그의 아들들에게 예물로 주어 회중의 성막에서 이스라엘 자손의 섬기는 일을 하게 하고 또 이스라엘 자손을 위하여 속죄하게 하였나니 이것은 이스라엘 자손이 성소에 가까이 올 때에 이스라엘 자손 가운데 재앙이 없게 하려 함이니라, 하시니라. 19 내가 이스라엘 자손 중에서 레위인을 취하여 그들을 아론과 그 아들들에게 선물로 주어서 그들로 회막에서 이스라엘 자손을 대신하여 봉사하게 하며 또 이스라엘 자손을 위하여 속죄하게 하였나니 이는 이스라엘 자손이 성소에 가까이 할 때에 그들 중에 재앙이 없게 하려 하였음이니라
20 And Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the children of Israel, did to the Levites according unto all that the LORDcommandedMoses concerning the Levites, so did the children of Israel unto them.[x]MKJV: And Moses and Aaron and all the congregation of the sons of Israel did to the Levites according to all that the LORD commanded Moses concerning the Levites. So the sons of Israel did to them. BBE: All these things Moses and Aaron and the children of Israel did to the Levites; as the Lord gave orders to Moses about the Levites, so the children of Israel did. KAV: 모세와 아론과 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중이 {주}께서 레위 사람들에 관해 모세에게 명령하신 대로 다 레위 사람들에게 행하되 곧 이스라엘 자손이 그와 같이 그들에게 행하였더라.
20 All these things Moses and Aaron and the children of Israel did to the Levites; as the Lord gave orders to Moses about the Levites, so the children of Israel did.
20 모세와 아론과 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중이 여호와께서 레위인에게 대하여 모세에게 명하신 것을 다 좇아 레위인에게 행하였으되 곧 이스라엘 자손이 그와 같이 그들에게 행하였더라
21 And the Levites were purified, and they washed their clothes; and Aaronoffered them as an offeringbefore the LORD; and Aaron made an atonement for them to cleanse them.[x]MKJV: And the Levites purified themselves, and they washed their clothes. And Aaron offered them, an offering before the LORD. And Aaron made an atonement for them to purify them. BBE: And the Levites were made clean from sin, and their clothing was washed, and Aaron gave them for a wave offering before the Lord; and Aaron took away their sin and made them clean. 21 And the Levites were made clean from sin, and their clothing was washed, and Aaron gave them for a wave offering before the Lord; and Aaron took away their sin and made them clean.
21 레위인이 이에 죄에서 스스로 깨끗케 하고 그 옷을 빨매 아론이 그들을 여호와 앞에 요제로 드리고 그가 또 그들을 위하여 속죄하여 정결케 한
22 And after that went the Levites in to do their service in the tabernacle of the congregationbeforeAaron, and before his sons: as the LORD had commandedMoses concerning the Levites, so did they unto them.[x]MKJV: And after that the Levites went in to do their service in the tabernacle of the congregation before Aaron and before his sons. Even as the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so they did to them. BBE: And then the Levites went in to do their work in the Tent of meeting before Aaron and his sons: all the orders which the Lord had given Moses about the Levites were put into effect. 23 And the Lord said to Moses,
23 여호와께서 또 모세에게 일러 가라사대
24 This is it that belongeth unto the Levites: from twenty and fiveyearsold and upward they shall go in to waitㆍ upon the service of the tabernacle of the congregation:[x]MKJV: This [is that] which [pertains] to the Levites. From twenty-five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the service of the tabernacle of the congregation. BBE: This is the rule for the Levites: those of twenty-five years old and over are to go in and do the work of the Tent of meeting; KAV: 레위 사람들에게 속한 일은 이러하니 곧 스물다섯 살이 넘은 자들은 들어가 회중의 성막에서 섬기는 일을 할 것이요, TSK: from twenty: nu 4:3,23, 1ch 23:3,24-27, 1ch 28:12,13; wait upon: 1co 9:7, 2co 10:4, 1ti 1:18, 1ti 6:12, 2ti 2:3-5
24 This is the rule for the Levites: those of twenty-five years old and over are to go in and do the work of the Tent of meeting;
25 And from the age of fiftyyears they shall ceasewaiting upon the servicethereof, and shall serve no more:[x]MKJV: And from the age of fifty years they shall stop waiting upon the service, and shall serve no more. BBE: But after they are fifty years old, they are to give up their work and do no more; KAV: 쉰 살이 넘은 자들은 성막에서 섬기는 일을 그만두고 더 이상 섬기지 아니하되 TSK: cease waiting upon the service thereof: nu 4:23, 2ti 4:7
25 But after they are fifty years old, they are to give up their work and do no more;
25 오십세부터는 그 일을 쉬어 봉사하지 아니할 것이나
26 But shall minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of the congregation, to keep the charge, and shall do no service. Thus shalt thou do unto the Levites touching their charge.[x]MKJV: But they shall minister with their brothers in the tabernacle of the congregation, to keep the charge; only he shall not serve [at] a service. So you shall do to the Levites as to their duties. BBE: But be with their brothers in the Tent of meeting, taking care of it but doing no work. This is what you are to do in connection with the Levites and their work. KAV: 다만 책무를 지키기 위해 회중의 성막에서 자기 형제들과 함께 섬길 것이요, 섬기는 일을 하지는 아니하리라. 너는 레위 사람들의 책무에 관하여 그들에게 이와 같이 행할지니라. 26 But be with their brothers in the Tent of meeting, taking care of it but doing no work. This is what you are to do in connection with the Levites and their work.
26 그 형제와 함께 회막에서 모시는 직무를 지킬 것이요 일하지 아니할 것이라 너는 레위인의 직무에 대하여 이같이 할찌니라
