1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,1 And the Lord said to Moses,1 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
2 Command the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one that hath an issue, and whosoever is defiled by the dead:2 Give orders to the children of Israel to put outside the tent-circle every leper, and anyone who has any sort of flow from his body, and anyone who is unclean from the touch of the dead;2 이스라엘 자손에게 명하여 모든 문둥병 환자와 유출병이 있는 자와 주검으로 부정케 된 자를 다 진밖으로 내어 보내되
3 Both male and female shall ye put out, without the camp shall ye put them; that they defile not their camps, in the midst whereof I dwell.3 Male or female they are to be put outside the tent-circle, so that they may not make unclean my resting-place among them.3 무론남녀하고 다 진 밖으로 내어 보내어 그들로 진을 더럽히게 말라 내가 그 진 가운데 거하느니라 하시매
4 And the children of Israel did so, and put them out without the camp: as the LORD spake unto Moses, so did the children of Israel.4 So the children of Israel did as the Lord had said to Moses, and put them outside the tent-circle.4 이스라엘 자손이 그같이 행하여 그들을 진 밖으로 내어 보내었으니 곧 여호와께서 모세에게 이르신대로 이스라엘 자손이 행하였더라
5 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,5 And the Lord said to Moses,5 여호와께서 또 모세에게 일러 가라사대
6 Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to do a trespass against the LORD, and that person be guilty;6 Say to the children of Israel, If a man or a woman does any of the sins of men, going against the word of the Lord, and is in the wrong;6 이스라엘 자손에게 이르라 남자나 여자나 사람들이 범하는 죄를 범하여 여호와께 패역하여 그 몸에 죄를 얻거든
7 Then they shall confess their sin which they have done: and he shall recompense his trespass with the principal thereof, and add unto it the fifth part thereof, and give it unto him against whom he hath trespassed.7 Let them say openly what they have done; and make payment for the wrong done, with the addition of a fifth part, and give it to him to whom the wrong was done.7 그 지은 죄를 자복하고 그 죄 값을 온전히 갚되 오분지 일을 더하여 그가 죄를 얻었던 그 본주에게 돌려 줄 것이요
8 But if the man have no kinsman to recompense the trespass unto, let the trespass be recompensed unto the LORD, even to the priest; beside the ram of the atonement, whereby an atonement shall be made for him.8 But if the man has no relation to whom the payment may be made, then the payment for sin made to the Lord will be the priest's, in addition to the sheep offered to take away his sin.8 만일 죄 값을 받을만한 친족이 없거든 그 죄 값을 여호와께 드려 제사장에게로 돌릴 것이니 이는 그를 위하여 속죄할 속죄의 수양 외에 돌릴 것이니라
9 And every offering of all the holy things of the children of Israel, which they bring unto the priest, shall be his.9 And every offering lifted up of all the holy things which the children of Israel give to the priest, will be his.9 이스라엘 자손의 거제로 제사장에게 가져 오는 모든 성물은 그의 것이 될 것이라
10 And every man's hallowed things shall be his: whatsoever any man giveth the priest, it shall be his.10 And every man's holy things will be his: whatever a man gives to the priest will be his.10 각 사람의 구별한 물건은 그의 것이 되나니 누구든지 제사장에게 주는 것은 그의 것이 되느니라
11 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,11 And the Lord said to Moses,11 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
12 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man's wife go aside, and commit a trespass against him,12 Say to the children of Israel, If any man's wife does wrong, sinning against him12 이스라엘 자손에게 고하여 그들에게 이르라 만일 어떤 사람의 아내가 실행하여 남편에게 범죄하여
13 And a man lie with her carnally ㆍ, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and be kept close, and she be defiled, and there be no witness against her, neither she be taken with the manner;13 By taking as her lover another man, and keeps it secret so that her husband has no knowledge of it, and there is no witness against her, and she is not taken in the act;13 타인과 정교를 하였으나 그 남편의 눈에 숨겨 드러나지 아니하였고 그 여자의 더러워진 일에 증인도 없고 그가 잡히지도 아니하였어도
14 And the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled:14 If the spirit of doubt comes into her husband's heart, and he has doubts of his wife, with good cause; or if he has doubts of her without cause:14 그 더러워짐을 인하여 남편이 의심이 생겨서 그 아내를 의심하든지 또는 아내가 더럽히지 아니하였어도 그 남편이 의심이 생겨서 그 아내를 의심하거든
15 Then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is an offering of jealousy, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance.15 Then let him take her to the priest, offering for her the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal, without oil or perfume; for it is a meal offering of a bitter spirit, a meal offering keeping wrongdoing in mind.15 그 아내를 데리고 제사장에게로 가서 그를 위하여 보리 가루 에바 십분지 일을 예물로 드리되 그것에 기름도 붓지 말고 유향도 두지 말라 이는 의심의 소제요 생각하게 하는 소제니 곧 죄악을 생각하게 하는 것이니라
16 And the priest shall bring her near, and set her before the LORD:16 And the priest will make her come near and put her before the Lord;16 제사장은 그 여인으로 가까이 오게 하여 여호와 앞에 세우고
17 And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and of the dust that is in the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and put it into the water:17 And the priest will take holy water in a pot and put in it dust from the floor of the House;17 토기에 거룩한 물을 담고 성막 바닥의 티끌을 취하여 물에 넣고
18 And the priest shall set the woman before the LORD, and uncover the woman's head, and put the offering of memorial in her hands, which is the jealousy offering: and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter water that causeth the curse:18 And he will make the woman come before the Lord with her hair loose, and will put the meal offering, the offering of a bitter spirit, in her hands; and the priest will take in his hand the bitter water causing the curse;18 여인을 여호와 앞에 세우고 그 머리를 풀게 하고 생각하게 하는 소제물 곧 의심의 소제물을 그 두 손에 두고 제사장은 저주가 되게 할 쓴 물을 자기 손에 들고
19 And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside to uncleanness with another instead of thy husband, be thou free from this bitter water that causeth the curse:19 And he will make her take an oath, and say to her, If no man has been your lover and you have not been with another in place of your husband, you are free from this bitter water causing the curse;19 여인에게 맹세시켜 그에게 이르기를 네가 네 남편을 두고 실행하여 사람과 동침하여 더럽힌 일이 없으면 저주가 되게 하는 이 쓴 물의 해독을 면하리라
20 But if thou hast gone aside to another instead of thy husband, and if thou be defiled, and some man have lain with thee beside thine husband:20 But if you have been with another in place of your husband and have made yourself unclean with a lover:20 그러나 네가 네 남편을 두고 실행하여 더럽혀서 네 남편 아닌 사람과 동침하였으면
21 Then the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of cursing, and the priest shall say unto the woman, The LORD make thee a curse and an oath among thy people, when the LORD doth make thy thigh to rot, and thy belly to swell;21 Then the priest will put the oath of the curse on the woman, and say to her, May the Lord make you a curse and an oath among your people, sending on you wasting of the legs and disease of the stomach;21 (제사장이 그 여인으로 저주의 맹세를 하게 하고 그 여인에게 말할찌니라) 여호와께서 네 넓적다리로 떨어지고 네 배로 부어서 너로 네 백성 중에 저줏거리, 맹셋거리가 되게 하실찌라
22 And this water that causeth the curse shall go into thy bowels, to make thy belly to swell, and thy thigh to rot: And the woman shall say, Amen, amen.22 And this water of the curse will go into your body, causing disease of your stomach and wasting of your legs: and the woman will say, So be it.22 이 저주가 되게 하는 이 물이 네 창자에 들어가서 네 배로 붓게 하고 네 넓적다리로 떨어지게 하리라 할 것이요 여인은 아멘 아멘 할찌니라
23 And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot them out with the bitter water:23 And the priest will put these curses in a book, washing out the writing with the bitter water;23 제사장이 저주의 말을 두루마리에 써서 그 글자를 그 쓴 물에 빨아 넣고
24 And he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water that causeth the curse: and the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter.24 And he will give to the woman the bitter water for drink; and the bitter water causing the curse will go into her.24 여인으로 그 저주가 되게 하는 쓴 물을 마시게 할찌니 그 저주가 되게 하는 물이 그의 속에 들어 가서 쓰리라
25 Then the priest shall take the jealousy offering out of the woman's hand, and shall wave the offering before the LORD, and offer it upon the altar:25 And the priest will take from her hand the meal offering of doubt, waving it before the Lord, and will take it to the altar;25 제사장이 먼저 그 여인의 손에서 의심의 소제물을 취하여 그 소제물을 여호와 앞에 흔들고 가지고 단으로 가서
26 And the priest shall take an handful of the offering, even the memorial thereof, and burn it upon the altar, and afterward shall cause the woman to drink the water.26 And he will take some of it in his hand, burning it on the altar as a sign, and then he will give the woman the bitter water.26 그 소제물 중에서 기념으로 한 움큼을 취하여 단 위에 소화하고 그 후에 여인에게 그 물을 마시울찌라
27 And when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that, if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse among her people.27 And it will be that if the woman has become unclean, sinning against her husband, when she has taken the bitter water it will go into her body, causing disease of the stomach and wasting of the legs, and she will be a curse among her people.27 그 물을 마시운 후에 만일 여인이 몸을 더럽혀서 그 남편에게 범죄하였으면 그 저주가 되게 하는 물이 그의 속에 들어가서 쓰게 되어 그 배가 부으며 그 넓적다리가 떨어지리니 그 여인이 그 백성 중에서 저줏거리가 될 것이니라
28 And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed.28 But if she is clean she will be free and will have offspring.28 그러나 여인이 더럽힌 일이 없고 정결하면 해를 받지 않고 잉태하리라
29 This is the law of jealousies, when a wife goeth aside to another instead of her husband, and is defiled;29 This is the law for testing a wife who goes with another in place of her husband and becomes unclean;29 이는 의심의 법이니 아내가 그 남편을 두고 실행하여 더럽힌 때나
30 Or when the spirit of jealousy cometh upon him, and he be jealous over his wife, and shall set the woman before the LORD, and the priest shall execute upon her all this law.30 Or for a husband who, in a bitter spirit, has doubts in his heart about his wife; let him take her to the priest, who will put in force this law.30 또는 그 남편이 의심이 생겨서 그 아내를 의심할 때에 그 여인을 여호와 앞에 두고 제사장이 이 법대로 행할 것이라
31 Then shall the man be guiltless from iniquity, and this woman shall bear her iniquity.31 Then the man will be free from all wrong, and the woman's sin will be on her.31 남편은 무죄할 것이요 여인은 죄가 있으면 당하리라
