1 And Mosesspake unto the heads of the tribes concerning the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded.[x]MKJV: And Moses spoke to the heads of the tribes concerning the sons of Israel, saying, This [is] the thing which the LORD has commanded: BBE: And Moses said to the heads of the tribes of the children of Israel, This is the order of the Lord. 1 And Moses said to the heads of the tribes of the children of Israel, This is the order of the Lord.
2 When a man takes an oath to the Lord, or gives an undertaking having the force of an oath, let him not go back from his word, but let him do whatever he has said he will do.
2 사람이 여호와께 서원하였거나 마음을 제어하기로 서약하였거든 파약하지 말고 그 입에서 나온대로 다 행할 것이니라
3 If a woman also vow a vow unto the LORD, and bind herself by a bond, being in her father'shouse in her youth;[x]MKJV: [If] a woman also vows a vow to the LORD, and binds herself by a bond, [being] in her father's house in her youth, BBE: If a woman, being young and under the authority of her father, takes an oath to the Lord or gives an undertaking; KAV: 또 만일 여자가 어려서 자기 아버지 집에 있을 때에 {주}께 서원하여 자기를 속박하기로 서약으로 맹세하였는데
3 If a woman, being young and under the authority of her father, takes an oath to the Lord or gives an undertaking;
3 또 여자가 만일 어려서 그 아비 집에 있을 때에 여호와께 서원한 일이나 스스로 제어하려 한 일이 있다 하자
4 And her fatherhear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father shall hold his peace at her: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand.[x]MKJV: and [if] her father hears her vow and her bond with which she has bound her soul, and [if] her father is silent as to her, then all her vows shall stand, and every bond with which she has bound her soul shall stand. BBE: If her father, hearing of her oath or the undertaking she has given, says nothing to her, then all her oaths and every undertaking she has given will have force. KAV: 그녀의 아버지가 그녀의 서원이나 혹은 그녀가 자기 혼을 속박하려고 말한 그녀의 서약을 듣고서도 그녀에게 아무 말도 하지 아니하면 그녀의 모든 서원은 유효하며 그녀가 자기 혼을 속박하려고 말한 모든 서약이 유효하리라.
4 If her father, hearing of her oath or the undertaking she has given, says nothing to her, then all her oaths and every undertaking she has given will have force.
4 그 아비가 그의 서원이나 그 마음을 제어하려는 서약을 듣고도 그에게 아무 말이 없으면 그 모든 서원을 행할 것이요 그 마음을 제어하려는 서약을 지킬 것이니라
5 But if her fatherdisallow her in the day that he heareth; not any of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand: and the LORD shall forgive her, because her fatherdisallowed her.[x]MKJV: But [if] her father does not allow her in the day that he hears, not any of her vows or of her bonds with which she has bound her soul shall stand. And the LORD shall forgive her because her father did not allow her. BBE: But if her father, hearing of it, makes her take back her word, then the oaths or the undertakings she has given will have no force; and she will have forgiveness from the Lord, because her oath was broken by her father. KAV: 그러나 그녀의 아버지가 그것을 듣는 날에 그녀를 허락하지 아니하면 그녀의 서원이나 그녀가 자기 혼을 속박하려고 말한 그녀의 서약 중에서 어떤 것도 유효하지 아니하리니 그녀의 아버지가 그녀를 허락하지 아니하였은즉 {주}께서 그녀를 용서하시리라. 5 But if her father, hearing of it, makes her take back her word, then the oaths or the undertakings she has given will have no force; and she will have forgiveness from the Lord, because her oath was broken by her father.
5 그러나 그 아비가 그것을 듣는 날에 허락지 아니하면 그 서원과 마음을 제어하려던 서약이 이루지 못할 것이니 그 아비가 허락지 아니하였은즉 여호와께서 사하시리라
6 And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul;[x]MKJV: And [if] she had a husband when she vowed, or if she said anything rash out of her lips with which she bound her soul, BBE: And if she is married to a husband at the time when she is under an oath or an undertaking given without thought; KAV: 또 그녀에게 남편이 있는데 그녀가 서원하거나 혹은 자기 입술로 자기 혼을 속박하려고 조금이라도 말하였을 때에 TSK: she vowed: ps 56:12
6 And if she is married to a husband at the time when she is under an oath or an undertaking given without thought;
6 또 혹시 남편을 맞을 때에 서원이나 마음을 제어하려는 서약을 경솔히 그 입에서 발하였다 하자
7 And her husbandheardit, and held his peace at her in the day that he heardit: then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.[x]MKJV: and [if] her husband heard and is silent as to her in the day that he heard, then her vows shall stand, and her bonds with which she bound her soul shall stand. BBE: If her husband, hearing of it, says nothing to her at the time, then the oaths she made and the undertakings she gave will have force. KAV: 그녀의 남편이 그것을 듣고도 그것을 들은 날에 그녀에게 아무 말도 하지 아니하면 그녀의 서원들은 유효하며 그녀가 자기 혼을 속박하려고 말한 서약들이 유효하리라.
7 If her husband, hearing of it, says nothing to her at the time, then the oaths she made and the undertakings she gave will have force.
7 그 남편이 그것을 듣고 그 듣는 날에 그에게 아무 말이 없으면 그 서원을 행할 것이요 그 마음을 제어하려는 서약을 지킬 것이니라
8 But if her husbanddisallowed her on the day that he heardit; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and the LORD shall forgive her.[x]MKJV: But [if] her husband did not allow her on the day that he heard it, then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, with which she bound her soul, of no effect. And the LORD shall forgive her. BBE: But if her husband, hearing of it, makes her take it back, then the oath she made and the undertaking she gave without thought will have no force or effect, and she will have the Lord's forgiveness. KAV: 그러나 그녀의 남편이 그것을 듣는 날에 그녀를 허락하지 아니하면 그는 그녀의 서원과 그녀가 자기 혼을 속박하려고 자기 입술로 말한 것을 무효로 만들지니 그리하면 {주}께서 그녀를 용서하시리라. 8 그러나 그 남편이 그것을 듣는 날에 허락지 아니하면 그 서원과 마음을 제어하려고 경솔히 입술에서 발한 서약이 무효될 것이니 여호와께서 그 여자를 사하시리라
9 But every vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced, wherewith they have bound their souls, shall stand against her.[x]MKJV: But every vow of a widow and of her who is divorced, all which she has bound on her soul shall stand against her. BBE: But an oath made by a widow or one who is no longer married to her husband, and every undertaking she has given, will have force. KAV: 그러나 과부나 이혼 당한 여자가 자기 혼을 속박하려고 말한 모든 서약은 그녀에게 유효하리라. 9 But an oath made by a widow or one who is no longer married to her husband, and every undertaking she has given, will have force.
9 과부나 이혼 당한 여자의 서원이나 무릇 그 마음을 제어하려는 서약은 지킬 것이니라
10 And if she vowed in her husband'shouse, or bound her soul by a bond with an oath;[x]MKJV: And if she vowed in her husband's house, or bound her soul by a bond with an oath, BBE: If she made an oath while she was under the authority of her husband, KAV: 만일 그녀가 자기 남편의 집에서 서원을 하였거나 혹은 자기 혼을 속박하려고 맹세로 서약하였을 때에
10 If she made an oath while she was under the authority of her husband,
10 부녀가 혹시 그 남편의 집에 있어 서원을 하였다든지 마음을 제어하려고 서약을 하였다 하자
11 And her husbandheardit, and held his peace at her, anddisallowed her not: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.[x]MKJV: and [if] her husband heard and is silent as to her, and did not forbid her, then all her vows shall stand, and every bond with which she bound her soul shall stand. BBE: And her husband, hearing of it, said nothing to her and did not put a stop to it, then all her oaths and every undertaking she gave will have force. KAV: 그녀의 남편이 그것을 듣고도 그녀에게 아무 말도 하지 아니하고 그녀를 금하지도 아니하면 그녀의 모든 서원이 유효하며 그녀가 자기 혼을 속박하려고 말한 모든 서약이 유효하리라.
11 And her husband, hearing of it, said nothing to her and did not put a stop to it, then all her oaths and every undertaking she gave will have force.
11 그 남편이 그것을 듣고도 아무 말이 없고 금함이 없으면 그 서원은 무릇 행할 것이요 그 마음을 제어하려는 서약은 무릇 지킬 것이니라
12 But if her husband hath utterly made them void on the day he heardthem; then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband hath made them void; and the LORD shall forgive her.[x]MKJV: But if her husband has certainly broken them on the day he heard, whatever comes out of her lips concerning her vows or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand. Her husband has broken them. And the LORD shall forgive her. BBE: But if her husband, on hearing of it, made them without force or effect, then whatever she has said about her oaths or her undertaking has no force: her husband has made them without effect, and she will have the Lord's forgiveness. KAV: 그러나 그녀의 남편이 그것들을 듣는 날에 그것들을 철저히 무효로 만들면 그녀의 서원이나 혹은 그녀의 혼을 속박하려던 일에 관하여 그녀의 입술에서 나온 것은 무엇이든지 유효하지 아니하리니 그녀의 남편이 그것들을 무효로 만들었은즉 {주}께서 그녀를 용서하시리라. 12 But if her husband, on hearing of it, made them without force or effect, then whatever she has said about her oaths or her undertaking has no force: her husband has made them without effect, and she will have the Lord's forgiveness.
12 그러나 그 남편이 그것을 듣는 날에 무효케 하면 그 서원과 마음을 제어하려던 일에 대하여 입술에서 낸 것을 무엇이든지 이루지 못하나니 그 남편이 그것을 무효케 하였은즉 여호와께서 그 부녀를 사하시느니라
13 Every vow, and every bindingoath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void.[x]MKJV: Every vow and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may break it. BBE: Every oath, and every undertaking which she gives, to keep herself from pleasure, may be supported or broken by her husband. KAV: ¶ 모든 서원과 혼을 괴롭게 하도록 속박하는 모든 맹세는 그녀의 남편이 그것을 굳게 세울 수도 있고 무효로 만들 수도 있느니라. TSK: and every: 1co 11:3,9, 1pe 3:1-6; to afflict: nu 29:7, le 16:29, le 23:27,32, ezr 8:21, ps 35:13, isa 58:5, 1co 7:5
13 Every oath, and every undertaking which she gives, to keep herself from pleasure, may be supported or broken by her husband.
13 무릇 서원과 무릇 마음을 괴롭게 하려는 서약은 그 남편이 그것을 지키게도 할 수 있고 무효케도 할 수 있나니
14 But if her husbandaltogether hold his peace at her from day to day; then he establisheth all her vows, or all her bonds, which are upon her: he confirmeth them, because he held his peace at her in the day that he heardthem.[x]MKJV: But [if] her husband is altogether silent as to her from day to day, then he establishes all her vows or all her bonds which [are] on her. He confirms them, because he was silent as to her in the day that he heard. BBE: But if the days go on, and her husband says nothing whatever to her, then he is giving the support of his authority to her oaths and undertakings, because at the time of hearing them he said nothing to her. KAV: 그러나 그녀의 남편이 날이 지나도 그녀에게 아무 말도 하지 아니하면 그는 그녀의 모든 서원이나 그녀 위에 있는 모든 서약을 굳게 세우나니 그가 그것들을 들을 때에 그녀에게 아무 말도 하지 아니하였으므로 그것들을 확정하였느니라.
14 But if the days go on, and her husband says nothing whatever to her, then he is giving the support of his authority to her oaths and undertakings, because at the time of hearing them he said nothing to her.
14 그 남편이 일향 말이 없으면 아내의 서원과 스스로 제어하려는 일을 지키게 하는 것이니 이는 그가 그것을 들을 때에 그 아내에게 아무 말도 아니하였으므로 지키게 됨이니라
15 But if he shall any ways make them voidafter that he hath heardthem; then he shall bear her iniquity.[x]MKJV: But [if] he at all breaks them after he has heard, then he has borne her iniquity. BBE: But if at some time after hearing of them, he makes them without force, then he is responsible for her wrongdoing. KAV: 그러나 그가 그것들을 들은 뒤에 어찌하든지 그것들을 무효로 만들면 그가 그녀의 불법을 담당할 것이니라. 15 But if at some time after hearing of them, he makes them without force, then he is responsible for her wrongdoing.
15 그러나 그 남편이 들은지 얼마 후에 그것을 무효케 하면 그가 아내의 죄를 담당할 것이니라
16 These are the statutes, which the LORDcommandedMoses, between a man and his wife, between the father and his daughter, being yet in her youth in her father'shouse.[x]MKJV: These [are] the statutes which the LORD commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between the father and his daughter in her youth in her father's house. BBE: These are the laws which the Lord gave Moses in relation to a man and his wife, or a father and a young daughter who is under his authority. KAV: 이것들은 {주}께서 모세에게 명령하신 법규로서 남편과 그의 아내와 또 아버지와 그의 딸 곧 아직 어려서 자기 아버지 집에 거하는 딸에 관한 것이니라. 16 These are the laws which the Lord gave Moses in relation to a man and his wife, or a father and a young daughter who is under his authority.
