4 And Nadab and Abihu died before the LORD, when they offered strange fire before the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children: and Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest's office in the sight of Aaron their father.4 And Nadab and Abihu were put to death before the Lord when they made an offering of strange fire before the Lord, in the waste land of Sinai, and they had no children: and Eleazar and Ithamar did the work of priests before Aaron their father.4 나답과 아비후는 시내 광야에서 다른 불을 여호와 앞에 드리다가 여호와 앞에서 죽었고 무자하였고 엘르아살과 이다말이 그 아비 아론 앞에서 제사장의 직분을 행하였더라
5 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,5 And the Lord said to Moses,5 여호와께서 또 모세에게 일러 가라사대
6 Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister unto him.6 Make the tribe of Levi come near, and put them before Aaron the priest, to be his helpers,6 레위 지파로 나아와 제사장 아론 앞에 서서 그에게 시종하게 하라
7 And they shall keep his charge, and the charge of the whole congregation before the tabernacle of the congregation, to do the service of the tabernacle.7 In order that they may be responsible to him and to all Israel for the care of the Tent of meeting, and to do the work of the House;7 그들이 회막 앞에서 아론의 직무와 온 회중의 직무를 위하여 회막에서 시무하되
8 And they shall keep all the instruments of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.8 And they will have the care of all the vessels of the Tent of meeting, and will do for the children of Israel all the necessary work of the House.8 곧 회막의 모든 기구를 수직하며 이스라엘 자손의 직무를 위하여 장막에서 시무할찌니
9 And thou shalt give the Levites unto Aaron and to his sons: they are wholly given unto him out of the children of Israel.9 Give the Levites to Aaron and his sons; so that they may be his without question from among the children of Israel.9 너는 레위인을 아론과 그 아들들에게 주라 그들은 이스라엘 자손 중에서 아론에게 온전히 돌리운 자니라
10 And thou shalt appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall wait on their priest's office: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.10 And give orders that Aaron and his sons are to keep their place as priests; any strange person who comes near is to be put to death.10 너는 아론과 그 아들들을 세워 제사장 직분을 행하게 하라 외인이 가까이 하면 죽임을 당할 것이니라
11 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,11 And the Lord said to Moses,11 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
12 And I, behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn that openeth the matrix among the children of Israel: therefore the Levites shall be mine;12 See, I have taken the Levites out of the children of Israel to be mine in place of the first sons of the children of Israel;12 보라 내가 이스라엘 자손 중에서 레위인을 택하여 이스라엘 자손 중 모든 첫 태에 처음 난 자를 대신케 하였은즉 레위인은 내 것이라
13 Because all the firstborn are mine; for on the day that I smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I hallowed unto me all the firstborn in Israel, both man and beast: mine shall they be: I am the LORD.13 For all the first sons are mine; on the day when I put to death all the first sons in the land of Egypt, I took for myself every first male birth of man and beast. They are mine; I am the Lord.13 처음 난 자는 다 내 것임은 내가 애굽 땅에서 그 처음 난 자를 다 죽이던 날에 이스라엘의 처음 난 자는 사람이나 짐승을 다 거룩히 구별하였음이니 그들은 내 것이 될 것임이니라 나는 여호와니라
14 And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, saying,14 And the Lord said to Moses in the waste land of Sinai,14 여호와께서 시내 광야에서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
15 Number the children of Levi after the house of their fathers, by their families: every male from a month old and upward shalt thou number them.15 Let all the children of Levi be numbered by their families and their fathers' houses; let every male of a month old and over be numbered.15 레위 자손을 그들의 종족과 가족을 따라 계수하되 일개월 이상의 남자를 다 계수하라
16 And Moses numbered them according to the word of the LORD, as he was commanded.16 So Moses did as the Lord said, numbering them as he had been ordered.16 모세가 여호와의 말씀을 좇아 그 명하신대로 계수하니라
17 And these were the sons of Levi by their names; Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari.17 These were the sons of Levi by name: Gershon and Kohath and Merari.17 레위의 아들들의 이름은 이러하니 게르손과 고핫과 므라리요
18 And these are the names of the sons of Gershon by their families; Libni, and Shimei.18 And these are the names of the sons of Gershon, by their families: Libni and Shimei.18 게르손의 아들들의 이름은 그 가족대로 이러하니 립니와 시므이요
19 And the sons of Kohath by their families; Amram, and Izehar, Hebron, and Uzziel.19 And the sons of Kohath, by their families: Amram and Izhar and Hebron and Uzziel.19 고핫의 아들들은 그 가족대로 이러하니 아므람과 이스할과 헤브론과 웃시엘이요
20 And the sons of Merari by their families; Mahli, and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to the house of their fathers.20 And the sons of Merari by their families: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites in the order of their fathers' houses.20 므라리의 아들들은 그 가족대로 말리와 무시니 이는 그 종족대로 된 레위인의 가족들이니라
21 Of Gershon was the family of the Libnites, and the family of the Shimites: these are the families of the Gershonites.21 From Gershon come the Libnites and the Shimeites; these are the families of the Gershonites.21 게르손에게서는 립니 가족과 시므이 가족이 났으니 이들이 곧 게르손의 가족들이라
22 Those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, even those that were numbered of them were seven thousand and five hundred.22 Those who were numbered of them, the males from one month old and over, were seven thousand, five hundred.22 계수함을 입은 자의 수효 곧 일개월 이상 남자의 수효 합계가 칠천 오백명이며
23 The families of the Gershonites shall pitch behind the tabernacle westward.23 The tents of the Gershonites are to be placed at the back of the House, to the west.23 게르손 가족들은 장막 뒤 곧 서편에 진을 칠 것이요
24 And the chief of the house of the father of the Gershonites shall be Eliasaph the son of Lael.24 The chief of the Gershonites is Eliasaph, the son of Lael.24 라엘의 아들 엘리아삽은 게르손 사람의 종족의 족장이 될 것이며
25 And the charge of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation shall be the tabernacle, and the tent, the covering thereof, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.,25 In the Tent of meeting, the Gershonites are to have the care of the House, and the Tent with its cover, and the veil for the door of the Tent of meeting,25 게르손 자손의 회막에 대하여 맡을 것은 성막과 장막과 그 덮개와 회막 문장과
26 And the hangings of the court, and the curtain for the door of the court, which is by the tabernacle, and by the altar round about, and the cords of it for all the service thereof.26 And the hangings for the open space round the House and the altar, and the curtain for its doorway, and all the cords needed for its use.26 뜰의 휘장과 및 성막과 단 사면에 있는 뜰의 문장과 그 모든 것에 쓰는 줄들이니라
27 And of Kohath was the family of the Amramites, and the family of the Izeharites, and the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites: these are the families of the Kohathites.27 From Kohath come the Amramites and the Izharites and the Hebronites and the Uzzielites; these are the families of the Kohathites.27 고핫에게서는 아므람 가족과 이스할 가족과 헤브론 가족과 웃시엘 가족이 났으니 이들이 곧 고핫 가족들이라
28 In the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were eight thousand and six hundred, keeping the charge of the sanctuary.28 Those who were numbered of them, the males from one month old and over, were eight thousand, six hundred, who were responsible for the care of the holy place.28 계수함을 입은 일개월 이상 모든 남자의 수효가 팔천 육백명인데 성소를 맡을 것이며
29 The families of the sons of Kohath shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle southward.29 The tents of the Kohathites are to be placed on the south side of the House.29 고핫 자손의 가족들은 성막 남편에 진을 칠 것이요
30 And the chief of the house of the father of the families of the Kohathites shall be Elizaphan the son of Uzziel.30 Their chief is Elizaphan, the son of Uzziel.30 웃시엘의 아들 엘리사반은 고핫 사람의 가족과 종족의 족장이 될 것이며
31 And their charge shall be the ark, and the table, and the candlestick, and the altars, and the vessels of the sanctuary wherewith they minister, and the hanging, and all the service thereof.31 In their care are the ark, and the table, and the lights, and the altars, and all the vessels used in the holy place, and the veil, and all they are used for.31 그들의 맡을 것은 증거궤와 상과 등대와 단들과 성소에서 봉사하는데 쓰는 기구들과 휘장과 그것에 쓰는 모든 것이며
32 And Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be chief over the chief of the Levites, and have the oversight of them that keep the charge of the sanctuary.32 Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, will be head over all the Levites and overseer of those responsible for the care of the holy place.32 제사장 아론의 아들 엘르아살은 레위인의 족장들의 어른이 되고 또 성소를 맡을 자를 통할할 것이니라
33 Of Merari was the family of the Mahlites, and the family of the Mushites: these are the families of Merari.33 From Merari come the Mahlites and the Mushites; these are the families of Merari.33 므라리에게서는 말리 가족과 무시 가족이 났으니 이들이 곧 므라리 가족들이라
34 And those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were six thousand and two hundred.34 Those who were numbered of them, the males of a month old and over, were six thousand, two hundred.34 그 계수함을 입은 자 곧 일개월 이상 남자의 수효 총계가 육천 이백명이며
35 And the chief of the house of the father of the families of Merari was Zuriel the son of Abihail: these shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle northward.35 The chief of the families of Merari was Zuriel, the son of Abihail: their tents are to be placed on the north side of the House.35 아비하일의 아들 수리엘이 므라리 가족과 종족의 족장이 될 것이요 이 가족은 장막 북편에 진을 칠 것이며
36 And under the custody and charge of the sons of Merari shall be the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and the sockets thereof, and all the vessels thereof, and all that serveth thereto,36 And in their care are to be all the boards of the Tent, with their rods and pillars and bases, and all the instruments, and all they are used for,36 므라리 자손의 맡을 것은 성막의 널판과 그 띠와 그 기둥과 그 받침과 그 모든 기구와 그것에 쓰는 모든 것이며
37 And the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords.37 And the pillars of the open space round it, with their bases and nails and cords.37 뜰 사면 기둥과 그 받침과 그 말뚝과 그 줄들이니라
38 But those that encamp before the tabernacle toward the east, even before the tabernacle of the congregation eastward, shall be Moses, and Aaron and his sons, keeping the charge of the sanctuary for the charge of the children of Israel; and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.38 And those whose tents are to be placed on the east side of the House in front of the Tent of meeting, looking to the dawn, are Moses and Aaron and his sons, who will do the work of the holy place for the children of Israel; and any strange person who comes near will be put to death.38 장막 앞 동편 곧 회막 앞 해 돋는 편에는 모세와 아론과 아론의 아들들이 진을 치고 이스라엘 자손의 직무를 대신하여 성소의 직무를 지킬 것이며 외인이 가까이 하면 죽일찌니라
39 All that were numbered of the Levites, which Moses and Aaron numbered at the commandment of the LORD, throughout their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were twenty and two thousand.39 All the Levites numbered by Moses and Aaron at the order of the Lord, all the males of one month old and over numbered in the order of their families, were twenty-two thousand.39 모세와 아론이 여호와의 명을 좇아 레위인을 각 가족대로 계수한즉 일개월 이상 남자의 수효가 이만 이천명이었더라
40 And the LORD said unto Moses, Number all the firstborn of the males of the children of Israel from a month old and upward, and take the number of their names.40 And the Lord said to Moses, Let all the first male children be numbered, and take the number of their names.40 여호와께서 또 모세에게 이르시되 이스라엘 자손의 처음 난 남자를 일개월 이상으로 다 계수하여 그 명수를 기록하라
41 And thou shalt take the Levites for me (I am the LORD) instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel; and the cattle of the Levites instead of all the firstlings among the cattle of the children of Israel.41 And give to me the Levites (I am the Lord) in place of the first sons of the children of Israel; and the cattle of the Levites in place of the first births among the cattle of the children of Israel.41 나는 여호와라 이스라엘 자손 중 모든 처음 난 자의 대신에 레위인을 내게 돌리고 또 이스라엘 자손의 가축 중 모든 처음 난 것의 대신에 레위인의 가축을 내게 돌리라
42 And Moses numbered, as the LORD commanded him, all the firstborn among the children of Israel.42 So Moses had all the first sons among the children of Israel numbered, as the Lord said to him.42 모세가 여호와께서 자기에게 명하신대로 이스라엘 자손 중 모든 처음 난 자를 계수하니
43 And all the firstborn males by the number of names, from a month old and upward, of those that were numbered of them, were twenty and two thousand two hundred and threescore and thirteen.43 Every first son from a month old and over was numbered by name, and the number came to twenty-two thousand, two hundred and seventy-three.43 일개월 이상으로 계수함을 입은 처음 난 남자의 명수의 총계가 이만 이천 이백 칠십 삼명이었더라
44 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,44 And the Lord said to Moses,44 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
45 Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites instead of their cattle; and the Levites shall be mine: I am the LORD.45 Take the Levites in place of all the first sons of the children of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites in place of their cattle; the Levites are to be mine; I am the Lord.45 이스라엘 자손 중 모든 처음 난 자의 대신에 레위인을 취하고 또 그들의 가축 대신에 레위인의 가축을 취하라 레위인은 내 것이라 나는 여호와니라
46 And for those that are to be redeemed of the two hundred and threescore and thirteen of the firstborn of the children of Israel, which are more than the Levites;46 And the price you have to give for the two hundred and seventy-three first sons of the children of Israel which are in addition to the number of the Levites,46 이스라엘 자손의 처음 난 자가 레위인보다 이백 칠십 삼인이 더한즉 속하기 위하여
47 Thou shalt even take five shekels apiece by the poll, after the shekel of the sanctuary shalt thou take them: (the shekel is twenty gerahs:)47 Will be five shekels for every one, by the scale of the holy place (the shekel is twenty gerahs);47 매명에 오 세겔씩 취하되 성소의 세겔대로 취하라 한 세겔은 이십 게라니라
48 And thou shalt give the money, wherewith the odd number of them is to be redeemed, unto Aaron and to his sons.48 And this money, the price of those over the number of the Levites, is to be given to Aaron and his sons.48 그 더한 자의 속전을 아론과 그 아들들에게 줄 것이니라
49 And Moses took the redemption money of them that were over and above them that were redeemed by the Levites:49 So Moses took the money, the price of those whose place had not been taken by the Levites;49 모세가 레위인으로 대속한 이외의 사람에게서 속전을 받았으니
50 Of the firstborn of the children of Israel took he the money; a thousand three hundred and threescore and five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary:50 From the first sons of Israel he took it, a thousand, three hundred and sixty-five shekels, by the scale of the holy place;50 곧 이스라엘 자손의 처음 난 자에게서 받은 돈이 성소의 세겔대로 일천 삼백 육십 오 세겔이라
51 And Moses gave the money of them that were redeemed ㆍ unto Aaron and to his sons, according to the word of the LORD, as the LORD commanded Moses.51 And he gave the money to Aaron and his sons, as the Lord had said.51 이 속전을 여호와의 말씀대로 아론과 그 아들들에게 주었으니 여호와께서 모세에게 명하심과 같았느니라
