13 And Balaksaid unto him, Come, I pray thee, with me unto anotherplace, from whence thou mayest see them: thou shalt seebut the utmost part of them, and shalt not see them all: and curse me them from thence.[x]MKJV: And Balak said to him, Please come with me to another place from where you may see them. You shall see only their edge, and shall not see them all. And curse them from there for me. BBE: And Balak said to him, Come with me now into another place from which you will not be able to see them all, but only the outskirts of them; and you will send curses on them from there. 24 Behold, the people shall rise up as a great lion, and lift up himself as a young lion: he shall not lie down until he eatof the prey, and drink the blood of the slain.[x]MKJV: Behold, the people shall rise up like a great lion, and lift up himself like a young lion. 25 발락이 발람에게 이르되 그들을 저주하지도 말고 축복하지도 말라
26 But Balaamanswered and said unto Balak, Told not I thee, saying, All that the LORDspeaketh, that I must do?[x]MKJV: But Balaam answered and said to Balak, Did I not tell you, saying, All that the LORD speaks, that I must do? BBE: But Balaam in answer said to Balak, Did I not say to you, I may only do what the Lord says? KAV: 발람이 발락에게 응답하여 이르되, 내가 왕에게 고하여 말하기를, {주}께서 말씀하시는 모든 것을 내가 반드시 행하여야 하리라 하지 아니하더이까? 하니라. 26 But Balaam in answer said to Balak, Did I not say to you, I may only do what the Lord says?
26 발람이 발락에게 대답하여 가로되 내가 당신에게 고하여 이르기를 여호와께서 말씀하신 것은 내가 그대로 하지 않을수 없다고 하지 아니하더이까
27 And Balaksaid unto Balaam, Come, I pray thee, I will bring thee unto anotherplace; peradventure it will pleaseㆍGod that thou mayest curse me them from thence.[x]MKJV: And Balak said to Balaam, Please, come. I will bring you into another place. Perhaps it will please God that you will curse them for me from there. BBE: Then Balak said to Balaam, Come now, I will take you to another place; it may be that God will let you put a curse on them from there. 27 Then Balak said to Balaam, Come now, I will take you to another place; it may be that God will let you put a curse on them from there.
27 발락이 발람에게 또 이르되 오라 내가 너를 다른 곳으로 인도하리니 네가 거기서 나를 위하여 그들을 저주하기를 하나님이 혹시 기뻐하시리라 하고
28 And BalakbroughtBalaam unto the top of Peor, that lookethtowardJeshimon.[x]MKJV: And Balak brought Balaam to the top of Peor that looks toward Jeshimon. BBE: So Balak took Balaam to the top of Peor, looking down over the waste land. KAV: 발락이 여시몬을 내려다보는 브올의 꼭대기로 발람을 데려가매 TSK: Jeshimon: nu 21:20

28 발락이 발람을 인도하여 광야가 내려다 보이는 브올산 꼭대기에 이르니
29 And Balaamsaid unto Balak, Build me here sevenaltars, and prepare me here sevenbullocks and sevenrams.[x]MKJV: And Balaam said to Balak, Build seven altars here for me, and prepare seven bulls and seven rams here for me. BBE: And Balaam said to Balak, Make me seven altars here and get seven oxen and seven male sheep ready for me. 29 And Balaam said to Balak, Make me seven altars here and get seven oxen and seven male sheep ready for me.
29 발람이 발락에게 이르되 나를 위하여 여기 일곱 단을 쌓고 거기 수송아지 일곱과 수양 일곱을 준비하소서
30 And Balakdid as Balaam had said, and offered a bullock and a ram on everyaltar.[x]MKJV: And Balak did as Balaam had said, and offered a bull and a ram on the altar. BBE: And Balak did as Balaam said, offering an ox and a male sheep on every altar. KAV: 발락이 발람의 말대로 행하여 각 제단 위에 수소 한 마리와 숫양 한 마리를 드리니라.
