3 And ye shall give her unto Eleazar the priest, that he may bring her forthwithout the camp, and one shall slay her before his face:[x]MKJV: And you shall give her to Eleazar the priest that he may bring her forth outside the camp. And he shall kill her before his face. BBE: Give her to Eleazar the priest and let him take her outside the tent-circle and have her put to death before him. 3 Give her to Eleazar the priest and let him take her outside the tent-circle and have her put to death before him.

4 Then let Eleazar the priest take some of her blood on his finger, shaking the blood seven times in the direction of the front of the Tent of meeting:

5 And one shall burn the heifer in his sight; her skin, and her flesh, and her blood, with her dung, shall he burn:[x]MKJV: And he shall burn the heifer in his sight, her skin and her flesh and her blood with her dung, he shall burn. 5 And the cow is to be burned before him, her skin and her flesh and her blood and her waste are to be burned:

6 And the priest shall takecedarwood, and hyssop, and scarletㆍ, and castit into the midst of the burning of the heifer.[x]MKJV: And the priest shall take cedar-wood and hyssop and scarlet, and throw [it] into the midst of the burning of the heifer. BBE: Then let the priest take cedar-wood and hyssop and red thread, and put them into the fire where the cow is burning. 6 Then let the priest take cedar-wood and hyssop and red thread, and put them into the fire where the cow is burning.

7 Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the even.[x]MKJV: Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water. And afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the evening. BBE: And the priest, after washing his clothing and bathing his body in water, may come back to the tent-circle, and will be unclean till evening. KAV: 제사장은 자기 옷을 빨고 물로 살을 씻은 뒤에 진영에 들어갈지니 제사장은 저녁까지 부정하리라. 7 And the priest, after washing his clothing and bathing his body in water, may come back to the tent-circle, and will be unclean till evening.
7 제사장은 그 옷을 빨고 물로 몸을 씻은 후에 진에 들어갈 것이라 그는 저녁까지 부정하리라
8 And he that burneth her shall wash his clothes in water, and bathe his flesh in water, and shall be unclean until the even.[x]MKJV: And he who burns her shall wash his clothes in water and bathe his flesh in water, and shall be unclean until the evening. BBE: And he who does the burning is to have his clothing washed and his body bathed in water and be unclean till evening. KAV: 암송아지를 태운 자도 자기 옷을 물로 빨고 물로 살을 씻을지니 그도 저녁까지 부정하리라.
8 And he who does the burning is to have his clothing washed and his body bathed in water and be unclean till evening.
8 송아지를 불사른 자도 그 옷을 물로 빨고 물로 그 몸을 씻을 것이라 그도 저녁까지 부정하리라
9 And a manthat isclean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay themupwithout the camp in a cleanplace, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water of separation: it is a purification for sin.[x]MKJV: And a man [that is] clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay up outside the camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the sons of Israel for a water of separation. It is a cleansing for sin. BBE: Then let a man who is clean take the dust of the burned cow and put it outside the tent-circle in a clean place, where it is to be kept for the children of Israel and used in making the water which takes away what is unclean: it is a sin-offering. 9 Then let a man who is clean take the dust of the burned cow and put it outside the tent-circle in a clean place, where it is to be kept for the children of Israel and used in making the water which takes away what is unclean: it is a sin-offering.
9 이에 정한 자가 암송아지의 재를 거두어 진 밖 정한 곳에 둘찌니 이것은 이스라엘 자손 회중을 위하여 간직하였다가 부정을 깨끗케 하는 물을 만드는데 쓸 것이니 곧 속죄제니라
10 And he that gathereth the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: and it shall be unto the children of Israel, and unto the stranger that sojournethamong them, for a statute for ever.[x]MKJV: And he who gathers the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening. And it shall be to the sons of Israel, and to the stranger that lives among them, for a statute forever. 10 And he who takes up the dust of the burned cow is to have his clothing washed with water and be unclean till evening: this is to be a law for ever, for the children of Israel as well as for the man from another country who is living among them.
10 암송아지의 재를 거둔 자도 그 옷을 빨 것이며 저녁까지 부정하리라 이는 이스라엘 자손과 그 중에 우거하는 외인에게 영원한 율례니라
11 Anyone touching a dead body will be unclean for seven days:
11 사람의 시체를 만진 자는 칠일을 부정하리니
12 He shall purify himself with it on the thirdday, and on the seventhday he shall be clean: but if he purify not himself the thirdday, then the seventhday he shall not be clean.[x]MKJV: He shall purify himself with it on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean. But if he does not purify himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean. BBE: On the third day and on the seventh day he is to make himself clean with the water, and so he will be clean: but if he does not do this on the third day and on the seventh day, he will not be clean. 12 On the third day and on the seventh day he is to make himself clean with the water, and so he will be clean: but if he does not do this on the third day and on the seventh day, he will not be clean.
12 그는 제 삼일과 제 칠일에 이 잿물로 스스로 정결케 할 것이라 그리하면 정하려니와 제 삼일과 제 칠일에 스스로 정결케 아니하면 그냥 부정하니
13 Whosoever toucheth the deadbody of any man that is dead, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacle of the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleannessis yet upon him.[x]MKJV: Whoever touches the dead body of any man that is dead, and does not purify himself, defiles the tabernacle of the LORD. And that soul shall be cut off from Israel. Because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean. His uncleanness [is] still upon him. BBE: Anyone touching the body of a dead man without making himself clean in this way, makes the House of the Lord unclean; and that man will be cut off from Israel: because the water was not put on him, he will be unclean; his unclean condition is unchanged. 13 Anyone touching the body of a dead man without making himself clean in this way, makes the House of the Lord unclean; and that man will be cut off from Israel: because the water was not put on him, he will be unclean; his unclean condition is unchanged.
13 누구든지 죽은 사람의 시체를 만지고 스스로 정결케 아니하는 자는 여호와의 성막을 더럽힘이라 그가 이스라엘에서 끊쳐질 것은 정결케 하는 물을 그에게 뿌리지 아니하므로 깨끗케 되지 못하고 그 부정함이 그저 있음이니라
14 This is the law, when a mandieth in a tent: all that come into the tent, and all that is in the tent, shall be uncleansevendays.[x]MKJV: This [is] the law when a man dies in a tent. All that come into the tent, and all in the tent, shall be unclean seven days. BBE: This is the law when death comes to a man in his tent: everyone who comes into the tent, and everyone who is in the tent, will be unclean for seven days. KAV: 장막에서 사람이 죽을 때의 법은 이러하니 그 장막에 들어가는 자와 그 장막에 있는 자가 다 이레 동안 부정할 것이며
14 This is the law when death comes to a man in his tent: everyone who comes into the tent, and everyone who is in the tent, will be unclean for seven days.
14 장막에서 사람이 죽을 때의 법은 이러하니 무릇 그 장막에 들어가는 자와 무릇 그 장막에 있는 자가 칠일 동안 부정할 것이며
15 And every openvessel, which hath no coveringbound upon it, isunclean.[x]MKJV: And every open vessel which has no covering bound upon it, it [is] unclean. BBE: And every open vessel without a cover fixed on it will be unclean. KAV: 그릇에 붙잡아 맨 뚜껑이 없어 열어 놓은 그릇도 다 부정하니라. 16 And whosoever toucheth one that is slain with a sword in the openfields, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be uncleansevendays.[x]MKJV: And whoever touches one that is killed with a sword in the open fields, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days. BBE: And anyone touching one who has been put to death with the sword in the open country, or the body of one who has come to his end by a natural death, or a man's bone, or the resting-place of a dead body, will be unclean for seven days. 17 And for an uncleanperson they shall take of the ashes of the burnt heifer of purification for sin, and runningwater shall be put thereto in a vessel:[x]MKJV: And for the unclean they shall take of the ashes of the burnt heifer of cleansing for sin, and running water shall be put to it in a vessel. BBE: And for the unclean, they are to take the dust of the burning of the sin-offering, and put flowing water on it in a vessel: KAV: 부정한 자를 위하여 그들이 죄를 정결하게 하는 그 불태운 암송아지의 재를 취해 흐르는 물과 함께 그릇에 담고 TSK: running water shall be put thereto: ge 26:19, so 4:15, joh 4:10,11, joh 7:38, re 7:17
17 And for the unclean, they are to take the dust of the burning of the sin-offering, and put flowing water on it in a vessel:

18 And a cleanperson shall takehyssop, and dipit in the water, and sprinkleit upon the tent, and upon all the vessels, and upon the persons that were there, and upon him that touched a bone, or one slain, or one dead, or a grave:[x]MKJV: And a clean person shall take hyssop and dip in the water, and sprinkle upon the tent and upon all the vessels, and upon the persons that were there, and upon him that touched a bone, or one killed, or one dead, or a grave. BBE: And a clean person is to take hyssop and put it in the water, shaking it over the tent, and all the vessels, and the people who were there, and over him by whom the bone, or the body of one who has been put to death with the sword, or the body of one who has come to his end by a natural death, or the resting-place was touched. 18 정한 자가 우슬초를 취하여 그 물을 찍어서 장막과 그 모든 기구와 거기 있는 사람들에게 뿌리고 또 뼈나 죽임을 당한 자나 시체나 무덤을 만진 자에게 뿌리되
19 And the cleanperson shall sprinkle upon the unclean on the thirdday, and on the seventhday: and on the seventhday he shall purify himself, and wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at even.[x]MKJV: And the clean [person] shall sprinkle on the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day. And on the seventh day he shall purify himself, and wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water. And he shall be clean at evening. BBE: Let the clean person do this to the unclean on the third day and on the seventh day: and on the seventh day he is to make him clean; and after washing his clothing and bathing himself in water, he will be clean in the evening. 19 그 정한 자가 제 삼일과 제 칠일에 그 부정한 자에게 뿌려서 제 칠일에 그를 정결케 할 것이며 그는 자기 옷을 빨고 물로 몸을 씻을 것이라 저녁이면 정하리라
20 But the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the congregation, because he hath defiled the sanctuary of the LORD: the water of separation hath not been sprinkled upon him; he isunclean.[x]MKJV: But the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the congregation, because he has defiled the sanctuary of the LORD. The water of separation has not been sprinkled upon him. He [is unclean. BBE: But the man who, being unclean, does not make himself clean in this way, will be cut off from the meeting of the people, because he has made the holy place of the Lord unclean: the water has not been put on him, he is unclean. KAV: 그러나 부정한 그 사람이 자기를 정결하게 하지 아니하면 {주}의 성소를 더럽혔으므로 그 혼은 회중 가운데서 끊어질 것이니라. 그에게 거룩히 구분하는 물을 뿌리지 아니하였은즉 그는 부정하니라. 20 But the man who, being unclean, does not make himself clean in this way, will be cut off from the meeting of the people, because he has made the holy place of the Lord unclean: the water has not been put on him, he is unclean.
20 사람이 부정하고도 스스로 정결케 아니하면 여호와의 성소를 더럽힘이니 그러므로 총회 중에서 끊쳐질 것이니라 그는 정결케 하는 물로 뿌리움을 받지 아니하였은즉 부정하니라
21 And it shall be a perpetualstatute unto them, that he that sprinkleth the water of separation shall wash his clothes; and he that toucheth the water of separation shall be unclean until even.[x]MKJV: And it shall be a perpetual law to them, that he who sprinkles the water of separation shall wash his clothes. And he that touches the water of separation shall be unclean until evening. BBE: This is to be a law for them for ever: he who puts the water on the unclean person is to have his clothing washed; and anyone touching the water will be unclean till evening. KAV: 그것은 그들에게 영속하는 법규가 될지니라. 거룩히 구별하는 물을 뿌리는 자는 자기 옷을 빨지니 거룩히 구별하는 물을 만지는 자는 저녁까지 부정하리라. 21 This is to be a law for them for ever: he who puts the water on the unclean person is to have his clothing washed; and anyone touching the water will be unclean till evening.
21 이는 그들의 영영한 율례니라 정결케 하는 물을 뿌린 자는 그 옷을 빨 것이며 정결케 하는 물을 만지는 자는 저녁까지 부정할 것이며
22 And whatsoever the uncleanpersontoucheth shall be unclean; and the soul that touchethit shall be unclean until even.[x]MKJV: And whatever the unclean touches shall be unclean. And the soul who touches shall be unclean until evening. BBE: Anything touched by the unclean person will be unclean; and any person touching it will be unclean till evening. 22 Anything touched by the unclean person will be unclean; and any person touching it will be unclean till evening.
