And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,1 And the Lord said to Moses,1 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps.2 Make two silver horns of hammered work, to be used for getting the people together and to give the sign for the moving of the tents.2 은나팔 둘을 만들되 쳐서 만들어서 그것으로 회중을 소집하며 진을 진행케 할 것이라
And when they shall blow with them, all the assembly shall assemble themselves to thee at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.3 When they are sounded, all the people are to come together to you at the door of the Tent of meeting.3 두 나팔을 불 때에는 온 회중이 회막 문 앞에 모여서 네게로 나아올 것이요
And if they blow but with one trumpet, then the princes, which are heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves unto thee.4 If only one of them is sounded, then the chiefs, the heads of the thousands of Israel, are to come to you.4 하나만 불 때에는 이스라엘 천부장 된 족장들이 모여서 네게로 나아올 것이며
When ye blow an alarm, then the camps that lie on the east parts shall go forward.5 When a loud note is sounded, the tents placed on the east side are to go forward.5 너희가 그것을 울려 불 때에는 동편 진들이 진행할 것이고
When ye blow an alarm the second time, then the camps that lie on the south side shall take their journey: they shall blow an alarm for their journeys.6 At the sound of a second loud note, the tents on the south side are to go forward: the loud note will be the sign to go forward.6 제 이차로 울려 불 때에는 남편 진들이 진행할 것이라 무릇 진행하려 할 때에는 나팔소리를 울려 불 것이며
But when the congregation is to be gathered together, ye shall blow, but ye shall not sound an alarm.7 But when all the people are to come together, the horn is to be sounded but not loudly.7 또 회중을 모을 때에도 나팔을 불 것이나 소리를 울려 불지 말 것이며
And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow with the trumpets; and they shall be to you for an ordinance for ever throughout your generations.8 The horns are to be sounded by the sons of Aaron, the priests; this is to be a law for you for ever, from generation to generation.8 그 나팔은 아론의 자손인 제사장들이 불찌니 이는 너희 대대에 영원한 율례니라
And if ye go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresseth you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.9 And if you go to war in your land against any who do you wrong, then let the loud note of the horn be sounded; and the Lord your God will keep you in mind and give you salvation from those who are against you.9 또 너희 땅에서 너희가 자기를 압박하는 대적을 치러 나갈 때에는 나팔을 울려 불찌니 그리하면 너희 하나님 여호와가 너희를 기억하고 너희를 너희 대적에게서 구원하리라
Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the LORD your God.10 And on days of joy and on your regular feasts and on the first day of every month, let the horns be sounded over your burned offerings and your peace-offerings; and they will put the Lord in mind of you: I am the Lord your God.10 또 너희 희락의 날과 너희 정한 절기와 월삭에는 번제물의 위에와 화목제물의 위에 나팔을 불라 그로 말미암아 너희 하나님이 너희를 기억하리라 나는 너희 하나님 여호와니라

And Moses said unto Hobab, the son of Raguel the Midianite, Moses father in law, We are journeying unto the place of which the LORD said, I will give it you: come thou with us, and we will do thee good: for the LORD hath spoken good concerning Israel.29 Then Moses said to Hobab, the son of his father-in-law Reuel the Midianite, We are journeying to that place of which the Lord has said, I will give it to you: so come with us, and it will be for your profit: for the Lord has good things in store for Israel.29 모세가 그 장인 미디안 사람 르우엘의 아들 호밥에게 이르되 여호와께서 주마 하신 곳으로 우리가 진행하나니 우리와 동행하자 그리하면 선대하리라 여호와께서 이스라엘에게 복을 내리리라 하셨느니라

And they departed from the mount of the LORD three days journey: and the ark of the covenant of the LORD went before them in the three days journey, to search out a resting place for them.33 So they went forward three days' journey from the mountain of the Lord; and the ark of the Lord's agreement went three days' journey before them, looking for a resting-place for them;33 그들이 여호와의 산에서 떠나 삼일 길을 행할 때에 여호와의 언약궤가 그 삼일 길에 앞서 행하며 그들의 쉴 곳을 찾았고
And the cloud of the LORD was upon them by day, when they went out of the camp.34 And by day the cloud of the Lord went over them, when they went forward from the place where they had put up their tents.34 그들이 행진할 때에 낮에는 여호와의 구름이 그 위에 덮였었더라
And it came to pass, when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Rise up, LORD, and let thine enemies be scattered; and let them that hate thee flee before thee.35 And when the ark went forward Moses said, Come up, O Lord, and let the armies of those who are against you be broken, and let your haters go in flight before you.35 궤가 떠날 때에는 모세가 가로되 여호와여 일어나사 주의 대적들을 흩으시고 주를 미워하는 자로 주의 앞에서 도망하게 하소서 하였고
And when it rested, he said, Return, O LORD, unto the many thousands of Israel.36 And when it came to rest, he said, Take rest, O Lord, and give a blessing to the families of Israel.36 궤가 쉴 때에는 가로되 여호와여 이스라엘 천만인에게로 돌아오소서 하였더라
