1 And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the congregation, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,1 And the Lord said to Moses in the waste land of Sinai, in the Tent of meeting, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they came out of the land of Egypt,1 이스라엘 자손이 애굽 땅에서 나온 후 제 이년 이월 일일에 여호와께서 시내 광야 회막에서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
2 Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, after their families, by the house of their fathers, with the number of their names, every male by their polls;2 Take the full number of the children of Israel, by their families, and by their fathers' houses, every male by name;2 너희는 이스라엘 자손의 모든 회중 각 남자의 수를 그들의 가족과 종족을 따라 그 명수대로 계수할찌니
3 From twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel: thou and Aaron shall number them by their armies.3 All those of twenty years old and over, who are able to go to war in Israel, are to be numbered by you and Aaron.3 이스라엘 중 이십세 이상으로 싸움에 나갈만한 모든 자를 너와 아론은 그 군대대로 계수하되

5 And these are the names of the men that shall stand with you: of the tribe of Reuben; Elizur the son of Shedeur.5 These are the names of those who are to be your helpers: from Reuben, Elizur, the son of Shedeur;5 너희와 함께 설 사람들의 이름은 이러하니 르우벤에게서는 스데울의 아들 엘리술이요
6 Of Simeon; Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.6 From Simeon, Shelumiel, the son of Zurishaddai;6 시므온에게서는 수리삿대의 아들 슬루미엘이요

16 These were the renowned of the congregation, princes of the tribes of their fathers, heads of thousands in Israel.16 These are the men named out of all the people, chiefs of their fathers' houses, heads of the tribes of Israel.16 그들은 회중에서 부름을 받은 자요 그 조상 지파의 족장으로서 이스라엘 천만인의 두령이라
17 And Moses and Aaron took these men which are expressed by their names:17 And Moses and Aaron took these men, marked out by name;17 모세와 아론이 지명된 이 사람들을 데리고
18 And they assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month, and they declared their pedigrees after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, by their polls.18 And they got together all the people on the first day of the second month; and everyone made clear his family and his father's house, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and over.18 이월 일일에 온 회중을 모으니 그들이 각기 가족과 종족을 따라 이십세 이상으로 그 명수를 의지하여 자기 계통을 말하매
19 As the LORD commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.19 As the Lord had given orders to Moses, so they were numbered by him in the waste place of Sinai.19 여호와께서 모세에게 명하신대로 그가 시내 광야에서 그들을 계수하였더라
20 And the children of Reuben, Israel's eldest son, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;20 The generations of the sons of Reuben, the oldest son of Israel, were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over, who was able to go to war;20 이스라엘의 장자 르우벤의 아들들에게서 난 자를 그들의 가족과 종족을 따라 이십세 이상으로 싸움에 나갈만한 각 남자를 그 명수대로 다 계수하니
21 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Reuben, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.21 Forty-six thousand, five hundred of the tribe of Reuben were numbered.21 르우벤 지파의 계수함을 입은 자가 사만 육천 오백명이었더라
22 Of the children of Simeon, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, those that were numbered of them, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;22 The generations of the sons of Simeon were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over, who was able to go to war;22 시므온의 아들들에게서 난 자를 그들의 가족과 종족을 따라 이십세 이상으로 싸움에 나갈만한 각 남자를 그 명수대로 다 계수하니
23 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.23 Fifty-nine thousand, three hundred of the tribe of Simeon were numbered.23 시므온 지파의 계수함을 입은 자가 오만 구천 삼백명이었더라
24 Of the children of Gad, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;24 The generations of the sons of Gad were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;24 갓의 아들들에게서 난 자를 그들의 가족과 종족을 따라 이십세 이상으로 싸움에 나갈만한 자를 그 명수대로 다 계수하니
25 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Gad, were forty and five thousand six hundred and fifty.25 Forty-five thousand, six hundred and fifty of the tribe of Gad were numbered.25 갓 지파의 계수함을 입은 자가 사만 오천 육백 오십명이었더라
26 Of the children of Judah, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;26 The generations of the sons of Judah were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;26 유다의 아들들에게서 난 자를 그들의 가족과 종족을 따라 이십세 이상으로 싸움에 나갈만한 자를 그 명수대로 다 계수하니
27 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Judah, were threescore and fourteen ㆍ thousand and six hundred.27 Seventy-four thousand, six hundred of the tribe of Judah were numbered.27 유다 지파의 계수함을 입은 자가 칠만 사천 육백명이었더라
28 Of the children of Issachar, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;28 The generations of the sons of Issachar were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;28 잇사갈의 아들들에게서 난 자를 그들의 가족과 종족을 따라 이십세 이상으로 싸움에 나갈만한 자를 그 명수대로 다 계수하니
29 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred.29 Fifty-four thousand, four hundred of the tribe of Issachar were numbered.29 잇사갈 지파의 계수함을 입은 자가 오만 사천 사백명이었더라
30 Of the children of Zebulun, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;30 The generations of the sons of Zebulun were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;30 스불론의 아들들에게서 난 자를 그들의 가족과 종족을 따라 이십세 이상으로 싸움에 나갈만한 자를 그 명수대로 다 계수하니
31 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.31 Fifty-seven thousand, four hundred of the tribe of Zebulun were numbered.31 스불론 지파의 계수함을 입은 자가 오만 칠천 사백명이었더라
32 Of the children of Joseph, namely, of the children of Ephraim, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;32 The generations of the sons of Joseph were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;32 요셉의 아들 에브라임의 아들들에게서 난 자를 그들의 가족과 종족을 따라 이십세 이상으로 싸움에 나갈만한 자를 그 명수대로 다 계수하니
33 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand and five hundred.33 Forty thousand, five hundred of the tribe of Ephraim were numbered.33 에브라임 지파의 계수함을 입은 자가 사만 오백명이었더라
34 Of the children of Manasseh, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;34 The generations of the sons of Manasseh were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;34 므낫세의 아들들에게서 난 자를 그들의 가족과 종족을 따라 이십세 이상으로 싸움에 나갈만한 자를 그 명수대로 다 계수하니
35 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Manasseh, were thirty and two thousand and two hundred.35 Thirty-two thousand, two hundred of the tribe of Manasseh were numbered.35 므낫세 지파의 계수함을 입은 자가 삼만 이천 이백명이었더라
36 Of the children of Benjamin, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;36 The generations of the sons of Benjamin were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;36 베냐민의 아들들에게서 난 자를 그들의 가족과 종족을 따라 이십세 이상으로 싸움에 나갈만한 자를 그 명수대로 다 계수하니

42 Of the children of Naphtali, throughout their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;42 The generations of the sons of Naphtali were numbered by their families and their fathers' houses, every male of twenty years old and over who was able to go to war;42 납달리의 아들들에게서 난 자를 그들의 가족과 종족을 따라 이십세 이상으로 싸움에 나갈만한 자를 그 명수대로 다 계수하니
43 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.43 Fifty-three thousand, four hundred of the tribe of Naphtali were numbered.43 납달리 지파의 계수함을 입은 자가 오만 삼천 사백명이었더라
44 These are those that were numbered, which Moses and Aaron numbered, and the princes of Israel, being twelve ㆍ men: each one was for the house of his fathers.44 These are they who were numbered by Moses and Aaron and by the twelve chiefs of Israel, one from every tribe.44 이 계수함을 입은 자는 모세와 아론과 각기 이스라엘 종족을 대표한 족장 십 이인이 계수한 자라
45 So were all those that were numbered of the children of Israel, by the house of their fathers, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war in Israel;45 So all those who were numbered of the children of Israel, by their families, all those of twenty years old and over who were able to go to war,45 이같이 이스라엘 자손의 그 종족을 따라 이십세 이상으로 싸움에 나갈만한 자가 이스라엘 중에서 다 계수함을 입었으니
46 Even all they that were numbered were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.46 Were six hundred and three thousand, five hundred and fifty.46 계수함을 입은 자의 총계가 육십만 삼천 오백 오십명이었더라
47 But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.47 But the Levites, of the tribe of their fathers, were not numbered among them.47 오직 레위인은 그 조상의 지파대로 그 계수에 들지 아니하였으니
48 For the LORD had spoken unto Moses, saying,48 For the Lord said to Moses,48 이는 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
49 Only thou shalt not number the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the children of Israel:49 Only the tribe of Levi is not to be numbered among the children of Israel,49 레위 지파만은 너는 계수치 말며 그들을 이스라엘 자손 계수 중에 넣지 말고
50 But thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all the vessels thereof, and over all things that belong to it: they shall bear the tabernacle, and all the vessels thereof; and they shall minister unto it, and shall encamp round about the tabernacle.50 But to them you are to give the care of the Tent of meeting with its vessels and everything in it: they are to take up the Tent, and be responsible for everything to do with it, and put up their tents round it.50 그들로 증거막과 그 모든 기구와 그 모든 부속품을 관리하게 하라 그들은 그 장막과 그 모든 기구를 운반하며 거기서 봉사하며 장막 사면에 진을 칠찌며
51 And when the tabernacle setteth forward, the Levites shall take it down: and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.51 And when the Tent of meeting goes forward, the Levites are to take it down; and when it is to be put up, they are to do it: any strange person who comes near it is to be put to death.51 장막을 운반할 때에는 레위인이 그것을 걷고 장막을 세울 때에는 레위인이 그것을 세울 것이요 외인이 가까이 오면 죽일찌며
52 And the children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, throughout their hosts.52 The children of Israel are to put up their tents, every man in his tent-circle round his flag.52 이스라엘 자손은 막을 치되 그 군대대로 각각 그 진과 기 곁에 칠 것이나
53 But the Levites shall pitch round about the tabernacle of testimony, that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony.53 But the tents of the Levites are to be round the Tent of meeting, so that wrath may not come on the children of Israel: the Tent of meeting is to be in the care of the Levites.53 레위인은 증거막 사면에 진을 쳐서 이스라엘 자손의 회중에게 진노가 임하지 않게 할 것이라 레위인은 증거막에 대한 책임을 지킬찌니라 하셨음이라
54 And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.54 So the children of Israel did as the Lord had given orders to Moses.54 이스라엘 자손이 그대로 행하되 여호와께서 모세에게 명하신대로 행하였더라
