Christ reproves rash judgment. (1-6) Encouragements to prayer. (7-11) The broad and narrow way. (12-14) Against false prophets. (15-20) To be doers of the word, not hearers only. (21-29)
KJV BBE KRV
Judge not, that ye be not judged.1 Be not judges of others, and you will not be judged.1 비판을 받지 아니하려거든 비판하지 말라
For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.2 For as you have been judging, so you will be judged, and with your measure will it be measured to you.2 너희의 비판하는 그 비판으로 너희가 비판을 받을 것이요 너희의 헤아리는 그 헤아림으로 너희가 헤아림을 받을 것이니라
And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?3 And why do you take note of the grain of dust in your brother's eye, but take no note of the bit of wood which is in your eye?3 어찌하여 형제의 눈속에 있는 티는 보고 네 눈속에 있는 들보는 깨닫지 못하느냐
Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?4 Or how will you say to your brother, Let me take out the grain of dust from your eye, when you yourself have a bit of wood in your eye?4 보라 네 눈속에 들보가 있는데 어찌하여 형제에게 말하기를 나로 네 눈속에 있는 티를 빼게 하라 하겠느냐
Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.5 You false one, first take out the bit of wood from your eye, then will you see clearly to take out the grain of dust from your brother's eye.5 외식하는 자여 먼저 네 눈속에서 들보를 빼어라 그 후에야 밝히 보고 형제의 눈속에서 티를 빼리라
Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.6 Do not give that which is holy to the dogs, or put your jewels before pigs, for fear that they will be crushed under foot by the pigs whose attack will then be made against you.6 거룩한 것을 개에게 주지 말며 너희 진주를 돼지 앞에 던지지 말라 저희가 그것을 발로 밟고 돌이켜 너희를 찢어 상할까 염려하라
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:7 Make a request, and it will be answered; what you are searching for you will get; give the sign, and the door will be open to you:7 구하라 그러면 너희에게 주실 것이요 찾으라 그러면 찾을 것이요 문을 두드리라 그러면 너희에게 열릴 것이니
For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.8 Because to everyone who makes a request, it will be given; and he who is searching will get his desire, and to him who gives the sign, the door will be open.8 구하는 이마다 얻을 것이요 찾는 이가 찾을 것이요 두드리는 이에게 열릴 것이니라
Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?9 Or which of you, if his son makes a request for bread, will give him a stone?9 너희 중에 누가 아들이 떡을 달라 하면 돌을 주며
Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?10 Or if he makes a request for a fish, will give him a snake?10 생선을 달라 하면 뱀을 줄 사람이 있겠느냐
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?11 If you, then, being evil, are able to give good things to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who make requests to him?11 너희가 악한 자라도 좋은 것으로 자식에게 줄줄 알거든 하물며 하늘에 계신 너희 아버지께서 구하는 자에게 좋은 것으로 주시지 않겠느냐
Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.12 All those things, then, which you would have men do to you, even so do you to them: because this is the law and the prophets.12 그러므로 무엇이든지 남에게 대접을 받고자 하는대로 너희도 남을 대접하라 이것이 율법이요 선지자니라
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:13 Go in by the narrow door; for wide is the door and open is the way which goes to destruction, and great numbers go in by it.13 좁은 문으로 들어가라 멸망으로 인도하는 문은 크고 그 길이 넓어 그리로 들어가는 자가 많고
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.14 For narrow is the door and hard the road to life, and only a small number make discovery of it.14 생명으로 인도하는 문은 좁고 길이 협착하여 찾는 이가 적음이니라
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.15 Be on the watch for false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inside they are cruel wolves.15 거짓 선지자들을 삼가라 양의 옷을 입고 너희에게 나아오나 속에는 노략질하는 이리라
Ye shall know them by their fruits . Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?16 By their fruits you will get knowledge of them. Do men get grapes from thorns or figs from thistles?16 그의 열매로 그들을 알찌니 가시나무에서 포도를, 또는 엉겅퀴에서 무화과를 따겠느냐
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.17 Even so, every good tree gives good fruit; but the bad tree gives evil fruit.17 이와 같이 좋은 나무마다 아름다운 열매를 맺고 못된 나무가 나쁜 열매를 맺나니
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.18 It is not possible for a good tree to give bad fruit, and a bad tree will not give good fruit.18 좋은 나무가 나쁜 열매를 맺을 수 없고 못된 나무가 아름다운 열매를 맺을 수 없느니라
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.19 Every tree which does not give good fruit is cut down and put in the fire.19 아름다운 열매를 맺지 아니하는 나무마다 찍혀 불에 던지우느니라
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.20 So by their fruits you will get knowledge of them.20 이러므로 그의 열매로 그들을 알리라
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.21 Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will go into the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the pleasure of my Father in heaven.21 나더러 주여 주여 하는 자마다 천국에 다 들어갈 것이 아니요 다만 하늘에 계신 내 아버지의 뜻대로 행하는 자라야 들어가리라
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?22 A great number will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord, were we not prophets in your name, and did we not by your name send out evil spirits, and by your name do works of power?22 그 날에 많은 사람이 나더러 이르되 주여 주여 우리가 주의 이름으로 선지자 노릇하며 주의 이름으로 귀신을 쫓아 내며 주의 이름으로 많은 권능을 행치 아니하였나이까 하리니
And then will I profess unto them , I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.23 And then will I say to them, I never had knowledge of you: go from me, you workers of evil.23 그때에 내가 저희에게 밝히 말하되 내가 너희를 도무지 알지 못하니 불법을 행하는 자들아 내게서 떠나가라 하리라
Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:24 Everyone, then, to whom my words come and who does them, will be like a wise man who made his house on a rock;24 그러므로 누구든지 나의 이 말을 듣고 행하는 자는 그 집을 반석 위에 지은 지혜로운 사람 같으리니
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.25 And the rain came down and there was a rush of waters and the winds were driving against that house, but it was not moved; because it was based on the rock.25 비가 내리고 창수가 나고 바람이 불어 그 집에 부딪히되 무너지지 아니하나니 이는 주초를 반석 위에 놓은 연고요
And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:26 And everyone to whom my words come and who does them not, will be like a foolish man who made his house on sand;26 나의 이 말을 듣고 행치 아니하는 자는 그 집을 모래 위에 지은 어리석은 사람 같으리니
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.27 And the rain came down and there was a rush of waters and the winds were driving against that house; and it came down and great was its fall.27 비가 내리고 창수가 나고 바람이 불어 그 집에 부딪히매 무너져 그 무너짐이 심하니라
And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:28 And it came about, when Jesus had come to the end of these words, that the people were surprised at his teaching,28 예수께서 이 말씀을 마치시매 무리들이 그 가르치심에 놀래니
For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.29 for he was teaching as one having authority, and not as their scribes.29 이는 그 가르치시는 것이 권세 있는 자와 같고 저희 서기관들과 같지 아니함일러라
