33 You snakes, offspring of snakes, how will you be kept from the punishment of hell?
34Whereforeㆍ, behold, Isenduntoyouprophets, and wise men, andscribes: andsomeofthem ye shall killandcrucify; andsomeofthem shall ye scourgeinyoursynagogues, andpersecutethemfromcitytocity:
34 For this reason, I send you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: some of them you will put to death and put on the cross, and to some of them you will give blows in your Synagogues, driving them from town to town;
34 그러므로 내가 너희에게 선지자들과 지혜 있는 자들과 서기관들을 보내매 너희가 그 중에서 더러는 죽이고 십자가에 못 박고 그 중에 더러는 너희 회당에서 채찍질하고 이 동네에서 저 동네로 구박하리라
35Thatuponyou may comeall the righteousbloodshedupon the earth, from the blood of righteousAbelunto the blood of Zachariasson of Barachias, whom ye slewbetween the templeand the altar.
