1 Then came together unto him the Pharisees, and certain of the scribes, which came from Jerusalem.1 And there came together to him the Pharisees and certain of the scribes who had come from Jerusalem,1 바리새인들과 또 서기관 중 몇이 예루살렘에서 와서 예수께 모였다가
2 And when they saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashen, hands, they found fault.2 And had seen that some of his disciples took their bread with unclean, that is, unwashed, hands.2 그의 제자 중 몇 사람의 부정한 손 곧 씻지 아니한 손으로 떡 먹는 것을 보았더라
3 For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands oft, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders.3 Now the Pharisees, and all the Jews, do not take food without washing their hands with care, keeping the old rule which has been handed down to them:3 (바리새인들과 모든 유대인들이 장로들의 유전을 지키어 손을 부지런히 씻지 않으면 먹지 아니하며
4 And when they come from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many other things there be, which they have received to hold, as the washing of cups, and pots ㆍ, brazen vessels, and of tables.4 And when they come from the market-place, they take no food till their hands are washed; and a number of other orders there are, which have been handed down to them to keep--washings of cups and pots and brass vessels.4 또 시장에서 돌아 와서는 물을 뿌리지 않으면 먹지 아니하며 그 외에도 여러가지를 지키어 오는 것이 있으니 잔과 주발과 놋그릇을 씻음이러라)
5 Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?5 And the Pharisees and the scribes put the question to him, Why do your disciples not keep the rules of the fathers, but take their bread with unwashed hands?5 이에 바리새인들과 서기관들이 예수께 묻되 어찌하여 당신의 제자들은 장로들의 유전을 준행치 아니하고 부정한 손으로 떡을 먹나이까
6 He answered and said unto them ㆍ, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.6 And he said, Well did Isaiah say of you, you false ones: These people give me honour with their lips, but their heart is far from me.6 가라사대 이사야가 너희 외식하는 자에 대하여 잘 예언하였도다 기록하였으되 이 백성이 입술로는 나를 존경하되 마음은 내게서 멀도다
7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.7 But their worship is to no purpose, while they give as their teaching the rules of men.7 사람의 계명으로 교훈을 삼아 가르치니 나를 헛되이 경배하는도다 하였느니라
8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.8 For, turning away from the law of God, you keep the rules of men.8 너희가 하나님의 계명은 버리고 사람의 유전을 지키느니라
9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.9 And he said to them, Truly you put on one side the law of God, so that you may keep the rules which have been handed down to you.9 또 가라사대 너희가 너희 유전을 지키려고 하나님의 계명을 잘 저버리는도다
10 For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:10 For Moses said, Give honour to your father and mother, and, He who says evil of father or mother, let him have the punishment of death:10 모세는 네 부모를 공경하라 하고 또 아비나 어미를 훼방하는 자는 반드시 죽으리라 하였거늘
11 But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free.11 But you say, If a man says to his father or his mother, That by which you might have had profit from me is Corban, that is to say, Given to God,11 너희는 가로되 사람이 아비에게나 어미에게나 말하기를 내가 드려 유익하게 할 것이 고르반 곧 하나님께 드림이 되었다고 하기만 하면 그만이라 하고
12 And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;12 You no longer let him do anything for his father or his mother;12 제 아비나 어미에게 다시 아무 것이라도 하여 드리기를 허하지 아니하여
13 Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.13 Making the word of God of no effect by your rule, which you have given: and a number of other such things you do.13 너희의 전한 유전으로 하나님의 말씀을 폐하며 또 이같은 일을 많이 행하느니라 하시고
14 And when he had called all the people unto him, he said unto them, Hearken unto me every one of you, and understand:14 And turning to the people again, he said to them, Give ear to me all of you, and let my words be clear to you:14 무리를 다시 불러 이르시되 너희는 다 내 말을 듣고 깨달으라
15 There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.15 There is nothing outside the man which, going into him, is able to make him unclean: but the things which come out of the man are those which make the man unclean.15 무엇이든지 밖에서 사람에게로 들어가는 것은 능히 사람을 더럽게 하지 못하되
16 If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.16 []16 사람 안에서 나오는 것이 사람을 더럽게 하는 것이니라 하시고
17 And when he was entered into the house from the people, his disciples asked him concerning the parable.17 And when he had gone into the house away from all the people, his disciples put questions to him about the saying.17 무리를 떠나 집으로 들어가시니 제자들이 그 비유를 묻자온대
18 And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot ㆍ defile him;18 And he said to them, Have even you so little wisdom? Do you not see that whatever goes into a man from outside is not able to make him unclean,18 예수께서 이르시되 너희도 이렇게 깨달음이 없느냐 무엇이든지 밖에서 들어가는 것이 능히 사람을 더럽게 하지 못함을 알지 못하느냐
19 Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?19 Because it goes not into the heart but into the stomach, and goes out with the waste? He said this, making all food clean.19 이는 마음에 들어가지 아니하고 배에 들어가 뒤로 나감이니라 하심으로 모든 식물을 깨끗하다 하셨느니라
20 And he said ㆍ, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.20 And he said, That which comes out of the man, that makes the man unclean.20 또 가라사대 사람에게서 나오는 그것이 사람을 더럽게 하느니라
21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,21 Because from inside, from the heart of men, come evil thoughts and unclean pleasures,21 속에서 곧 사람의 마음에서 나오는 것은 악한 생각 곧 음란과 도적질과 살인과
22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:22 The taking of goods and of life, broken faith between husband and wife, the desire of wealth, wrongdoing, deceit, sins of the flesh, an evil eye, angry words, pride, foolish acts:22 간음과 탐욕과 악독과 속임과 음탕과 흘기는 눈과 훼방과 교만과 광패니
23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.23 All these evil things come from inside, and make the man unclean.23 이 모든 악한 것이 다 속에서 나와서 사람을 더럽게 하느니라
24 And from thence he arose, and went into the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and entered into an house, and would have no man know it: but he could not be hid.24 And he went away from there to the country of Tyre and Sidon. And he went into a house, desiring that no man might have knowledge of it: and he was not able to keep it secret.24 예수께서 일어나사 거기를 떠나 두로 지경으로 가서 한 집에 들어가 아무도 모르게 하시려하나 숨길 수 없더라
25 For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet:25 But a woman, whose little daughter had an unclean spirit, having had news of him, came straight away and went down at his feet.25 이에 더러운 귀신 들린 어린 딸을 둔 한 여자가 예수의 소문을 듣고 곧 와서 그 발 아래 엎드리니
26 The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter.26 Now the woman was a Greek, a Syro-phoenician by birth: and she made a request to him that he would send the evil spirit out of her daughter.26 그 여자는 헬라인이요 수로보니게 족속이라 자기 딸에게서 귀신 쫓아 주시기를 간구하거늘
27 But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs.27 And he said to her, Let the children first have their food: for it is not right to take the children's bread and give it to the dogs.27 예수께서 이르시되 자녀로 먼저 배불리 먹게 할찌니 자녀의 떡을 취하여 개들에게 던짐이 마땅치 아니하니라
28 And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.28 But she said to him in answer, Yes, Lord: even the dogs under the table take the bits dropped by the children.28 여자가 대답하여 가로되 주여 옳소이다마는 상 아래 개들도 아이들의 먹던 부스러기를 먹나이다
29 And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter.29 And he said to her, For this saying go your way; the evil spirit has gone out of your daughter.29 예수께서 가라사대 이 말을 하였으니 돌아가라 귀신이 네 딸에게서 나갔느니라 하시매
30 And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed.30 And she went away to her house, and saw the child on the bed, and the evil spirit gone out.30 여자가 집에 돌아가 본즉 아이가 침상에 누웠고 귀신이 나갔더라
31 And again, departing from the coasts of Tyre and Sidon, he came unto the sea of Galilee, through the midst of the coasts of Decapolis.31 And again he went out from Tyre, and came through Sidon to the sea of Galilee, through the country of Decapolis.31 예수께서 다시 두로 지경에서 나와 시돈을 지나고 데가볼리 지경을 통과하여 갈릴리 호수에 이르시매
32 And they bring unto him one that was deaf, and had an impediment in his speech; and they beseech him to put his hand upon him.32 And they came to him with one who had no power of hearing and had trouble in talking; and they made a request to him to put his hands on him.32 사람들이 귀먹고 어눌한 자를 데리고 예수께 나아와 안수하여 주시기를 간구하거늘
33 And he took him aside ㆍ from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spit, and touched his tongue;33 And he took him on one side from the people privately, and put his fingers into his ears, and he put water from his mouth on the man's tongue with his finger;33 예수께서 그 사람을 따로 데리고 무리를 떠나사 손가락을 그의 양 귀에 넣고 침 뱉아 그의 혀에 손을 대시며
34 And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened.34 And looking up to heaven, he took a deep breath, and said to him, Ephphatha, that is, Be open.34 하늘을 우러러 탄식하시며 그에게 이르시되 에바다 하시니 이는 열리라는 뜻이라
35 And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain.35 And his ears became open, and the band of his tongue was made loose, and his words became clear.35 그의 귀가 열리고 혀의 맺힌 것이 곧 풀려 말이 분명하더라
36 And he charged them that they should tell no man: but the more he charged them, so much the more a great deal they published it;36 And he gave them orders not to give news of it to anyone; but the more he made this request, so much the more they made it public.36 예수께서 저희에게 경계하사 아무에게라도 이르지 말라 하시되 경계하실수록 저희가 더욱 널리 전파하니
37 And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.37 And they were overcome with wonder, saying, He has done all things well: he even gives back the power of hearing and the power of talking to those who have been without them.37 사람들이 심히 놀라 가로되 그가 다 잘하였도다 귀머거리도 듣게 하고 벙어리도 말하게 한다 하니라
