| 13 And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea ㆍ, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea. | 13 And he let them do it. And the unclean spirits came out and went into the pigs; and the herd went rushing down a sharp slope into the sea, about two thousand of them; and they came to their death in the sea. | 13 허락하신대 더러운 귀신들이 나와서 돼지에게로 들어가니 거의 이천 마리 되는 떼가 바다를 향하여 비탈로 내리달아 바다에서 몰사하거늘 |
| 14 And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done. | 14 And their keepers went running and gave an account of it in the town and in the country. | 15 And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid. | 15 And they came to Jesus, and saw the man in whom had been the evil spirits seated, clothed and with full use of his senses, and they were full of fear. | 15 예수께 이르러 그 귀신 들렸던 자 곧 군대 지폈던 자가 옷을 입고 정신이 온전하여 앉은 것을 보고 두려워하더라 |
| 16 And they that saw it told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the devil, and also concerning the swine. | 16 And those who had seen it gave them an account of what had been done to him who had the evil spirits, and of the fate of the pigs. | 16 이에 귀신 들렸던 자의 당한 것과 돼지의 일을 본 자들이 저에게 고하매 |
| 17 And they began to pray him to depart out of their coasts. | 17 And they made a request to him to go out of their country. | 17 저희가 예수께 그 지경에서 떠나시기를 간구하더라 |
| 18 And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him. | 18 And when he was getting into the boat, the man in whom had been the evil spirits had a great desire to come with him. | 18 예수께서 배에 오르실 때에 귀신 들렸던 사람이 함께 있기를 간구하였으나 |
| 19 Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home ㆍ ㆍ to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee. | 19 And he would not let him, but said to him, Go to your house, to your friends, and give them news of the great things the Lord has done for you, and how he had mercy on you. | 19 허락지 아니하시고 저에게 이르시되 집으로 돌아가 주께서 네게 어떻게 큰 일을 행하사 너를 불쌍히 여기신 것을 네 친속에게 고하라 하신대 |
| 20 And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel. | 20 And he went on his way, and made public in the country of Decapolis what great things Jesus had done for him: and all men were full of wonder. | 20 그가 가서 예수께서 자기에게 어떻게 큰 일 행하신 것을 데가볼리에 전파하니 모든 사람이 기이히 여기더라 |

| 23 And besought him greatly, saying ㆍ, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live. | 23 And made strong prayers to him, saying, My little daughter is near to death: it is my prayer that you will come and put your hands on her, so that she may be made well, and have life. | 23 많이 간구하여 가로되 내 어린 딸이 죽게 되었사오니 오셔서 그 위에 손을 얹으사 그로 구원을 얻어 살게 하소서 하거늘 |

| 27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. | 27 When she had news of the things which Jesus did, went among the people coming after him, and put her hand on his robe. | 27 예수의 소문을 듣고 무리 가운데 섞여 뒤로 와서 그의 옷에 손을 대니 |

| 31 And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? | 31 And his disciples said to him, You see the people round you on every side, and you say, Who was touching me? | 31 제자들이 여짜오되 무리가 에워싸 미는 것을 보시며 누가 내게 손을 대었느냐 물으시나이까 하되 |

| 33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. | 33 The woman, shaking with fear, conscious of what had been done to her, came and, falling on her face before him, gave him a true account of everything. | 33 여자가 제게 이루어진 일을 알고 두려워하여 떨며 와서 그 앞에 엎드려 모든 사실을 여짜온대 |

| 35 While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house certain which said ㆍ, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further? | 35 And while he was still talking, they came from the ruler of the Synagogue's house, saying, Your daughter is dead: why are you still troubling the Master? | 35 아직 말씀하실 때에 회당장의 집에서 사람들이 와서 가로되 당신의 딸이 죽었나이다 어찌하여 선생을 더 괴롭게 하나이까 |
| 36 As soon as Jesus ㆍ heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe. | 36 But Jesus, giving no attention to their words, said to the ruler of the Synagogue, Have no fear, only have faith. | 36 예수께서 그 하는 말을 곁에서 들으시고 회당장에게 이르시되 두려워 말고 믿기만 하라 하시고 |

| 40 And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying. | 40 And they were laughing at him. But he, having sent them all out, took the father of the child and her mother and those who were with him, and went in where the child was. | 40 저희가 비웃더라 예수께서 저희를 다 내어보내신 후에 아이의 부모와 또 자기와 함께한 자들을 데리시고 아이 있는 곳에 들어가사 |

| 42 And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years.
