| 14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection. | 14 And those which went among thorns are those who have given hearing, and go on their way, but they are overcome by cares and wealth and the pleasures of life, and they give no fruit. | 14 가시떨기에 떨어졌다는 것은 말씀을 들은 자니 지내는 중 이생의 염려와 재리와 일락에 기운이 막혀 온전히 결실치 못하는 자요 |

| 22 Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth. | 22 Now it came about on one of those days that he got into a boat with his disciples; and he said to them, Let us go over to the other side of the water: and they put out the boat. | 22 하루는 제자들과 함께 배에 오르사 저희에게 이르시되 호수 저편으로 건너가자 하시매 이에 떠나 |

| 24 And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. And he, when he was awake, gave orders to the wind and the rolling waves, and the storm came to an end, and all was calm. | 24 제자들이 나아와 깨워 가로되 주여 주여 우리가 죽겠나이다 한대 예수께서 잠을 깨사 바람과 물결을 꾸짖으시니 이에 그쳐 잔잔하여지더라 |
| 25 And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another ㆍ, What manner of man ㆍ is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him. | 25 And he said to them, Where is your faith? And fear and wonder overcame them, and they said to one another, Who then is this, who gives orders even to the winds and the water and they do what he says? | 25 제자들에게 이르시되 너희 믿음이 어디 있느냐 하시니 저희가 두려워하고 기이히 여겨 서로 말하되 저가 뉘기에 바람과 물을 명하매 순종하는고 하더라 |

| 27 And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long ㆍ time, and ware no clothes, neither ㆍ abode in any house, but in the tombs. | 27 And when he had come to the land, there came to him a certain man from the town who had evil spirits; and for a long time he had had no clothing on, and was not living in a house but in the place of the dead. | 27 육지에 내리시매 그 도시 사람으로서 귀신들린 자 하나가 예수를 만나니 이 사람은 오래 옷을 입지 아니하며 집에 거하지도 아니하고 무덤 사이에 거하는 자라 |
| 28 When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not. | 28 And when he saw Jesus, he gave a loud cry and went down on the earth before him and in a loud voice said, What have I to do with you, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? Do not be cruel to me. | 28 예수를 보고 부르짖으며 그 앞에 엎드리어 큰 소리로 불러 가로되 지극히 높으신 하나님의 아들 예수여 나와 당신과 무슨 상관이 있나이까 당신께 구하노니 나를 괴롭게 마옵소서 하니 |
| 29 (For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was driven of the devil into the wilderness.) | 29 For he gave an order to the evil spirit to come out of the man. For frequently it would take a grip of him: and he was kept under control, and prisoned with chains; but parting the chains in two, he would be sent by the driving of the evil spirit into waste places. | 29 이는 예수께서 이미 더러운 귀신을 명하사 이 사람에게서 나오라 하셨음이라 (귀신이 가끔 이 사람을 붙잡으므로 저가 쇠사슬과 고랑에 매이어 지키웠으되 그 맨 것을 끊고 귀신에게 몰려 광야로 나갔더라) |
| 30 And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him. | 30 And Jesus said to him, What is your name? And he said, Legion; for a number of spirits had gone into him. | 30 예수께서 네 이름이 무엇이냐 물으신즉 가로되 군대라 하니 이는 많은 귀신이 들렸음이라 |
| 31 And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep. | 31 And they made a request to him that he would not give them an order to go away into the deep. | 31 무저갱으로 들어가라 하지 마시기를 간구하더니 |
| 32 And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them. | 32 Now there was a great herd of pigs in that place, getting food on the mountain: and the evil spirits made a request to him that he would let them go into the pigs, and he let them. | 32 마침 거기 많은 돼지 떼가 산에서 먹고 있는지라 귀신들이 그 돼지에게로 들어가게 허하심을 간구하니 이에 허하신대 |
| 33 Then went the devils out of the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake, and were choked. | 33 And the evil spirits came out of the man and went into the pigs: and the herd went rushing down a sharp slope into the water and came to destruction. | 33 귀신들이 그 사람에게서 나와 돼지에게로 들어가니 그 떼가 비탈로 내리달아 호수에 들어가 몰사하거늘 |
| 34 When they that fed them saw what was done, they fled, and went and told it in the city and in the country. | 34 And when the men who took care of them saw what had come about, they went quickly and gave news of it in the town and the country. | 34 치던 자들이 그 된 것을 보고 도망하여 성내와 촌에 고하니 |
| 35 Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid. | 35 And they went out to see what had taken place, and they came to Jesus and saw the man out of whom the evil spirits had gone, seated, clothed and with full use of his senses, at the feet of Jesus; and fear came on them. | 35 사람들이 그 된 것을 보러 나와서 예수께 이르러 귀신 나간 사람이 옷을 입고 정신이 온전하여 예수의 발 아래 앉은 것을 보고 두려워하거늘 |

| 39 Return to thine own house, and show how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him. | 39 Go back to your house and let them have news of all the great things which God has done for you.
