10 가라사대 하나님 나라의 비밀을 아는 것이 너희에게는 허락되었으나 다른 사람에게는 비유로 하나니 이는 저희로 보아도 보지 못하고 들어도 깨닫지 못하게 하려 함이니라
11Now the parableisthis: The seedis the word of God.

12 길 가에 있다는 것은 말씀을 들은 자니 이에 마귀가 와서 그들로 믿어 구원을 얻지 못하게 하려고 말씀을 그 마음에서 빼앗는 것이요

14And that which fellamongthornsarethey, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are chokedwithcaresandrichesandpleasures of thislife, andbringno fruit to perfection.
14 And those which went among thorns are those who have given hearing, and go on their way, but they are overcome by cares and wealth and the pleasures of life, and they give no fruit.
14 가시떨기에 떨어졌다는 것은 말씀을 들은 자니 지내는 중 이생의 염려와 재리와 일락에 기운이 막혀 온전히 결실치 못하는 자요

16Noman, when he hath lighted a candle, coverethit with a vessel, orputtethitunder a bed; butsettethiton a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.
16 No man, when the light is lighted, puts a cover over it, or puts it under a bed, but he puts it on its table, so that those who come in may see the light.
16 누구든지 등불을 켜서 그릇으로 덮거나 평상 아래 두지 아니하고 등경 위에 두나니 이는 들어가는 자들로 그 빛을 보게 하려 함이라

19Thencametohimhismotherandhisbrethren, andcouldnotcome at himfor the press.
19 And his mother and his brothers came to him, and they were not able to get near him because of the great number of people.
19 예수의 모친과 그 동생들이 왔으나 무리를 인하여 가까이 하지 못하니

22Now it came to passon a certainday, thathewentinto a shipwithhisdisciples: and he saiduntothem, Let us go overunto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth.
22 Now it came about on one of those days that he got into a boat with his disciples; and he said to them, Let us go over to the other side of the water: and they put out the boat.
22 하루는 제자들과 함께 배에 오르사 저희에게 이르시되 호수 저편으로 건너가자 하시매 이에 떠나

24 제자들이 나아와 깨워 가로되 주여 주여 우리가 죽겠나이다 한대 예수께서 잠을 깨사 바람과 물결을 꾸짖으시니 이에 그쳐 잔잔하여지더라

28 And when he saw Jesus, he gave a loud cry and went down on the earth before him and in a loud voice said, What have I to do with you, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? Do not be cruel to me.
