| 1 And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. | 1 And he went into Jericho, and when he was going through it, | 1 예수께서 여리고로 들어 지나가시더라 |

| 15 And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading. | 15 And when he came back again, having got his kingdom, he gave orders for those servants to whom he had given the money to come to him, so that he might have an account of what business they had done. | 15 귀인이 왕위를 받아 가지고 돌아와서 은 준 종들의 각각 어떻게 장사한 것을 알고자 하여 저희를 부르니 |
| 16 Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds. | 16 And the first came before him, saying, Lord, your pound has made ten pounds. | 16 그 첫째가 나아와 가로되 주여 주의 한 므나로 열 므나를 남겼나이다 |
| 17 And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority ㆍ over ten cities. | 17 And he said to him, You have done well, O good servant: because you have done well in a small thing you will have authority over ten towns. | 17 주인이 이르되 잘하였다 착한 종이여 네가 지극히 작은 것에 충성하였으니 열 고을 권세를 차지하라 하고 |
| 18 And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds. | 18 And another came, saying, Your pound has made five pounds. | 18 그 둘째가 와서 가로되 주여 주의 한 므나로 다섯 므나를 만들었나이다 |
| 19 And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities. | 19 And he said, You will be ruler over five towns. | 19 주인이 그에게도 이르되 너도 다섯 고을을 차지하라 하고 |
| 20 And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin: | 20 And another came, saying, Lord, here is your pound, which I put away in a cloth; | 20 또 한 사람이 와서 가로되 주여 보소서 주의 한 므나가 여기 있나이다 내가 수건으로 싸두었었나이다 |
| 21 For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow. | 21 Because I was in fear of you, for you are a hard man: you take up what you have not put down, and get in grain where you have not put seed. | 21 이는 당신이 엄한 사람인 것을 내가 무서워함이라 당신은 두지 않은 것을 취하고 심지 않은 것을 거두나이다 |
| 22 And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow: | 22 He said to him, By the words of your mouth you will be judged, you bad servant. You had knowledge that I am a hard man, taking up what I have not put down and getting in grain where I have not put seed; | 22 주인이 이르되 악한 종아 내가 네 말로 너를 판단하노니 너는 내가 두지 않은 것을 취하고 심지 않은 것을 거두는 엄한 사람인 줄을 알았느냐 |
| 23 Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury? | 23 Why then did you not put my money in a bank, so that when I came I would get it back with interest? | 23 그러면 어찌하여 내 은을 은행에 두지 아니하였느냐 그리하였으면 내가 와서 그 변리까지 찾았으리라 하고 |
| 24 And he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give it to him that hath ten pounds. | 24 And he said to the others who were near, Take the pound away from him, and give it to the man who has ten. | 24 곁에 섰는 자들에게 이르되 그 한 므나를 빼앗아 열 므나 있는 자에게 주라 하니 |

| 40 And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out. | 40 And he said in answer, I say to you, if these men keep quiet, the very stones will be crying out. | 40 대답하여 가라사대 내가 너희에게 말하노니 만일 이 사람들이 잠잠하면 돌들이 소리지르리라 하시니라 |

| 42 Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. | 42 Saying, If you, even you, had knowledge today, of the things which give peace! but you are not able to see them. | 42 가라사대 너도 오늘날 평화에 관한 일을 알았더면 좋을 뻔하였거니와 지금 네 눈에 숨기웠도다 |
