1 After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and, sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither, he ㆍ himself would come.1 Now after these things, the Lord made selection of seventy others and sent them before him, two together, into every town and place where he himself was about to come.1 이 후에 주께서 달리 칠십인을 세우사 친히 가시려는 각동 각처로 둘씩 앞서 보내시며
2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.2 And he said to them, There is much grain ready to be cut, but not enough workers: so make prayer to the Lord of the grain-fields that he will send workers to get in the grain.2 이르시되 추수할 것은 많되 일군이 적으니 그러므로 추수하는 주인에게 청하여 추수할 일군들을 보내어 주소서 하라
3 Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among ㆍ wolves.3 Go on your way: see, I send you out like lambs among wolves.3 갈찌어다 내가 너희를 보냄이 어린 양을 이리 가운데로 보냄과 같도다
4 Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.4 Take no bag for money or for food, and no shoes; say no word to any man on the way.4 전대나 주머니나 신을 가지지 말며 길에서 아무에게도 문안하지 말며
5 And into whatsoever ㆍ house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house.5 And whenever you go into a house, first say, Peace be to this house.5 어느 집에 들어가든지 먼저 말하되 이 집이 평안할찌어다 하라
6 And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.6 And if a son of peace is there, your peace will be with him: but if not, it will come back to you again.6 만일 평안을 받을 사람이 거기 있으면 너희 빈 평안이 그에게 머물 것이요 그렇지 않으면 너희에게로 돌아오리라
7 And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.7 And keep in that same house, taking what food and drink they give you: for the worker has a right to his reward. Do not go from house to house.7 그 집에 유하며 주는 것을 먹고 마시라 일군이 그 삯을 얻는 것이 마땅하니라 이 집에서 저 집으로 옮기지 말라
8 And into whatsoever ㆍ ㆍ city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:8 And into whatever town you go, if they take you in, take whatever food is given to you:8 어느 동네에 들어가든지 너희를 영접하거든 너희 앞에 차려놓는 것을 먹고
9 And heal the sick that are therein ㆍ, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.9 And make well those in it who are ill and say to them, The kingdom of God is near to you.9 거기 있는 병자들을 고치고 또 말하기를 하나님의 나라가 너희에게 가까이 왔다 하라
10 But into whatsoever ㆍ city ye enter, and they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same, and say,10 But if you go into a town where they will not have you, go out into the streets of it and say,10 어느 동네에 들어가든지 너희를 영접지 아니하거든 그 거리로 나와서 말하되
11 Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.11 Even the dust of your town, which is on our feet, we put off as a witness against you; but be certain of this, that the kingdom of God is near.11 너희 동네에서 우리 발에 묻은 먼지도 너희에게 떨어버리노라 그러나 하나님의 나라가 가까이 온줄을 알라 하라
12 But I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.12 I say to you, It will be better in that day for Sodom than for that town.12 내가 너희에게 말하노니 저날에 소돔이 그 동네보다 견디기 쉬우리라
13 Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in ㆍ sackcloth and ashes.13 A curse is on you, Chorazin! A curse is on you, Beth-saida! For if such works of power had been done in Tyre and Sidon as have been done in you, they would have been turned from their sins, in days gone by, seated in the dust.13 화 있을찐저 고라신아, 화 있을찐저 벳새다야, 너희에게서 행한 모든 권능을 두로와 시돈에서 행하였더면 저희가 벌써 베옷을 입고 재에 앉아 회개하였으리라
14 But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you.14 But it will be better for Tyre and Sidon, in the day of judging, than for you.14 심판 때에 두로와 시돈이 너희보다 견디기 쉬우리라
15 And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted to heaven, shalt be thrust down to hell.15 And you, Capernaum, were you not lifted up to heaven? you will go down to hell.15 가버나움아 네가 하늘에까지 높아지겠느냐 음부에까지 낮아지리라
16 He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.16 Whoever gives ear to you, gives ear to me; and whoever is against you, is against me; and whoever is against me, is against him who sent me.16 너희 말을 듣는 자는 곧 내 말을 듣는 것이요 너희를 저버리는 자는 곧 나를 저버리는 것이요 나를 저버리는 자는 나 보내신 이를 저버리는 것이라 하시니라
17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.17 And the seventy came back with joy, saying, Lord, even the evil spirits are under our power in your name.17 칠십인이 기뻐 돌아와 가로되 주여 주의 이름으로 귀신들도 우리에게 항복하더이다
18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.18 And he said, I was watching for Satan, falling from heaven like a star.18 예수께서 이르시되 사단이 하늘로서 번개 같이 떨어지는 것을 내가 보았노라
19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.19 See, I have given you power to put your feet on snakes and evil beasts, and over all the strength of him who is against you: and nothing will do you damage.19 내가 너희에게 뱀과 전갈을 밟으며 원수의 모든 능력을 제어할 권세를 주었으니 너희를 해할 자가 결단코 없으리라
20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.20 Do not be glad, however, because you have power over spirits, but because your names are recorded in heaven.20 그러나 귀신들이 너희에게 항복하는 것으로 기뻐하지 말고 너희 이름이 하늘에 기록된 것으로 기뻐하라 하시니라
21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.21 In that same hour he was full of joy in the Holy Spirit and said, I give praise to you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have kept these things secret from the wise and the men of learning, and have made them clear to little children: for so, O Father, it was pleasing in your eyes.21 이 때에 예수께서 성령으로 기뻐하사 가라사대 천지의 주재이신 아버지여 이것을 지혜롭고 슬기있는 자들에게는 숨기시고 어린 아이들에게는 나타내심을 감사하나이다 옳소이다 이렇게 된 것이 아버지의 뜻이니이다
22 All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.22 All things have been given to me by my Father: and no one has knowledge of the Son, but only the Father: and of the Father, but only the Son, and he to whom the Son will make it clear.22 내 아버지께서 모든 것을 내게 주셨으니 아버지 외에는 아들이 누군지 아는 자가 없고 아들과 또 아들의 소원대로 계시를 받는 자 외에는 아버지가 누군지 아는 자가 없나이다 하시고
23 And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately ㆍ, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that ye see:23 And, turning to the disciples, he said privately, Happy are the eyes which see the things you see:23 제자들을 돌아 보시며 종용히 이르시되 너희의 보는 것을 보는 눈은 복이 있도다
24 For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.24 For I say to you that numbers of prophets and kings have had a desire to see the things which you see, and have not seen them, and to have knowledge of the things which have come to your ears, and they had it not.24 내가 너희에게 말하노니 많은 선지자와 임금이 너희 보는 바를 보고자 하였으되 보지 못하였으며 너희 듣는 바를 듣고자 하였으되 듣지 못하였느니라
25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?25 And a certain teacher of the law got up and put him to the test, saying, Master, what have I to do so that I may have eternal life?25 어떤 율법사가 일어나 예수를 시험하여 가로되 선생님 내가 무엇을 하여야 영생을 얻으리이까
26 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?26 And he said to him, What does the law say, in your reading of it?26 예수께서 이르시되 율법에 무엇이라 기록되었으며 네가 어떻게 읽느냐
27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.27 And he, answering, said, Have love for the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and for your neighbour as for yourself.27 대답하여 가로되 네 마음을 다하며 목숨을 다하며 힘을 다하며 뜻을 다하여 주 너의 하나님을 사랑하고 또한 네 이웃을 네 몸과 같이 사랑하라 하였나이다
28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.28 And he said, You have given the right answer: do this and you will have life.28 예수께서 이르시되 네 대답이 옳도다 이를 행하라 그러면 살리라 하시니
29 But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?29 But he, desiring to put himself in the right, said to Jesus, And who is my neighbour?29 이 사람이 자기를 옳게 보이려고 예수께 여짜오되 그러면 내 이웃이 누구오니이까
30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which ㆍ stripped him of his raiment, and wounded ㆍ him, and departed, leaving him half dead.30 And Jesus, answering him, said, A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he got into the hands of thieves, who took his clothing and gave him cruel blows, and when they went away, he was half dead.30 예수께서 대답하여 가라사대 어떤 사람이 예루살렘에서 여리고로 내려가다가 강도를 만나매 강도들이 그 옷을 벗기고 때려 거반 죽은 것을 버리고 갔더라
31 And by chance there came down a certain priest that ㆍ way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.31 And by chance a certain priest was going down that way: and when he saw him, he went by on the other side.31 마침 한 제사장이 그 길로 내려가다가 그를 보고 피하여 지나가고
32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.32 And in the same way, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, went by on the other side.32 또 이와 같이 한 레위 인도 그곳에 이르러 그를 보고 피하여 지나가되
33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,33 But a certain man of Samaria, journeying that way, came where he was, and when he saw him, he was moved with pity for him,33 어떤 사마리아인은 여행하는 중 거기 이르러 그를 보고 불쌍히 여겨
34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.34 And came to him and put clean linen round his wounds, with oil and wine; and he put him on his beast and took him to a house and took care of him.34 가까이 가서 기름과 포도주를 그 상처에 붓고 싸매고 자기 짐승에 태워 주막으로 데리고 가서 돌보아 주고
35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again ㆍ, I will repay thee.35 And the day after he took two pennies and gave them to the owner of the house and said, Take care of him; and if this money is not enough, when I come again I will give you whatever more is needed.35 이튿날에 데나리온 둘을 내어 주막 주인에게 주며 가로되 이 사람을 돌보아 주라 부비가 더 들면 내가 돌아 올 때에 갚으리라 하였으니
36 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?36 Which of these three men, in your opinion, was neighbour to the man who came into the hands of thieves?36 네 의견에는 이 세 사람 중에 누가 강도 만난 자의 이웃이 되겠느냐
37 And he said, He that showed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.37 And he said, The one who had mercy on him. And Jesus said, Go and do the same.37 가로되 자비를 베푼 자니이다 예수께서 이르시되 가서 너도 이와 같이 하라 하시니라
38 Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.38 Now, while they were on their way, he came to a certain town; and a woman named Martha took him into her house.38 저희가 길 갈 때에 예수께서 한 촌에 들어가시매 마르다라 이름하는 한 여자가 자기 집으로 영접하더라
39 And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus feet, and heard his word.39 And she had a sister, by name Mary, who took her seat at the Lord's feet and gave attention to his words.39 그에게 마리아라 하는 동생이 있어 주의 발아래 앉아 그의 말씀을 듣더니
40 But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.40 But Martha had her hands full of the work of the house, and she came to him and said, Lord, is it nothing to you that my sister has let me do all the work? Say to her that she is to give me some help.40 마르다는 준비하는 일이 많아 마음이 분주한지라 예수께 나아가 가로되 주여 내 동생이 나 혼자 일하게 두는 것을 생각지 아니하시나이까 저를 명하사 나를 도와주라 하소서
41 And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:41 But the Lord, answering, said to her, Martha, Martha, you are full of care and troubled about such a number of things:41 주께서 대답하여 가라사대 마르다야 마르다야 네가 많은 일로 염려하고 근심하나
42 But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.42 Little is needed, or even one thing only: for Mary has taken that good part, which will not be taken away from her.42 그러나 몇 가지만 하든지 혹 한 가지만이라도 족하니라 마리아는 이 좋은 편을 택하였으니 빼앗기지 아니하리라 하시니라
