1 And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto the priests the sons of Aaron, and say unto them, There shall none be defiled for the dead among his people:1 And the Lord said to Moses, Say to the priests, the sons of Aaron, Let no man make himself unclean for the dead among his people;1 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 아론의 자손 제사장들에게 고하여 이르라 백성 중의 죽은 자로 인하여 스스로 더럽히지 말려니와
2 But for his kin, that is near unto him, that is, for his mother, and for his father, and for his son, and for his daughter, and for his brother,2 But only for his near relations, for his mother or his father, his son or his daughter, and his brother;2 골육지친인 부모나 자녀나 형제나
3 And for his sister a virgin, that is nigh unto him, which hath had no husband; for her may he be defiled.3 And for his sister, a virgin, for she is his near relation and has had no husband, he may make himself unclean.3 출가하지 아니한 처녀인 친 자매로 인하여는 몸을 더럽힐 수 있느니라
4 But he shall not defile himself, being a chief man among his people, to profane himself.4 But let him, being a chief among his people, not make himself unclean in such a way as to put shame on himself.4 제사장은 백성의 어른인즉 스스로 더럽혀 욕되게 하지 말지니라
5 They shall not make baldness upon their head, neither shall they shave off the corner of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh.5 They are not to have their hair cut off for the dead, or the hair on their chins cut short, or make cuts in their flesh.5 제사장들은 머리털을 깎아 대머리 같게 하지 말며 그 수염 양편을 깎지 말며 살을 베지 말고
6 They shall be holy unto their God, and not profane the name of their God: for the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and the bread of their God, they do offer: therefore they shall be holy.6 Let them be holy to their God and not make the name of their God common; for the fire offerings of the Lord and the bread of their God are offered by them, and they are to be holy.6 그 하나님께 대하여 거룩하고 그 하나님의 이름을 욕되게 하지 말것이며 그들은 여호와의 화제 곧 그 하나님의 식물을 드리는 자인즉 거룩할 것이라
7 They shall not take a wife that is a whore, or profane; neither shall they take a woman put away from her husband: for he is holy unto his God.7 They may not take as wife a loose or common woman, or one who has been put away by her husband: for the priest is holy to his God.7 그들은 기생이나 부정한 여인을 취하지 말것이며 이혼 당한 여인을 취하지 말지니 이는 그가 여호와께 거룩함이니라
8 Thou shalt sanctify him therefore; for he offereth the bread of thy God: he shall be holy unto thee: for I the LORD, which sanctify you, am holy.8 And he is to be holy in your eyes, for by him the bread of your God is offered; he is to be holy in your eyes, for I the Lord, who make you holy, am holy.8 너는 그를 거룩하게 하라 그는 네 하나님의 식물을 드림이니라 너는 그를 거룩히 여기라 나 여호와 너희를 거룩하게 하는 자는 거룩함이니라
9 And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire.9 And if the daughter of a priest makes herself common and by her loose behaviour puts shame on her father, let her be burned with fire.9 아무 제사장의 딸이든지 행음하여 스스로 더럽히면 그 아비를 욕되게 함이니 그를 불사를찌니라
10 And he that is the high priest among his brethren, upon whose head the anointing oil was poured, and that is consecrated ㆍ to put on the garments, shall not uncover his head, nor rend his clothes;10 And he who is the chief priest among his brothers, on whose head the holy oil has been put, who is marked out to put on the holy robes, may not let his hair go loose or have his clothing out of order as a sign of sorrow.10 자기 형제중 관유로 부음을 받고 위임되어 예복을 입은 대제사장은 그 머리를 풀지 말며 그 옷을 찢지 말며
11 Neither shall he go in to any dead body, nor defile himself for his father, or for his mother;11 He may not go near any dead body or make himself unclean for his father or his mother;11 어떤 시체에든지 가까이 말찌니 부모로 인하여도 더러워지게 말며
12 Neither shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the crown of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am the LORD.12 He may not go out of the holy place or make the holy place of his God common; for the crown of the holy oil of his God is on him: I am the Lord.12 성소에서 나오지 말며 그 하나님의 성소를 더럽히지 말라 이는 하나님의 위임한 관유가 그 위에 있음이니라 나는 여호와니라
13 And he shall take a wife in her virginity.13 And let him take as his wife one who has not had relations with a man.13 그는 처녀를 취하여 아내를 삼을찌니
14 A widow, or a divorced woman, or profane, or an harlot, these shall he not take: but he shall take a virgin of his own people to wife.14 A widow, or one whose husband has put her away, or a common woman of loose behaviour, may not be the wife of a priest; but let him take a virgin from among his people.14 과부나 이혼 된 여인이나 더러운 여인이나 기생을 취하지 말고 자기 백성중 처녀를 취하여 아내를 삼아
15 Neither shall he profane his seed among his people: for I the LORD do sanctify him.15 And he may not make his seed unclean among his people, for I the Lord have made him holy.15 그 자손으로 백성 중에서 더럽히지 말찌니 나는 그를 거룩하게 하는 여호와임이니라
16 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,16 And the Lord said to Moses,16 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
17 Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed in their generations that hath any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God.17 Say to Aaron, If a man of your family, in any generation, is damaged in body, let him not come near to make the offering of the bread of his God.17 아론에게 고하여 이르라 무릇 너의 대대 자손중 육체에 흠이 있는 자는 그 하나님의 식물을 드리려고 가까이 오지 못할 것이라
18 For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous,18 For any man whose body is damaged may not come near: one who is blind, or has not the use of his legs, or one who has a broken nose or any unnatural growth,18 무릇 흠이 있는 자는 가까이 못할찌니 곧 소경이나 절뚝발이나 코가 불완전한 자나 지체가 더한 자나
19 Or a man that is brokenfooted ㆍ, or brokenhanded,19 Or a man with broken feet or hands,19 발 부러진 자나 손 부러진 자나
20 Or crookbacked, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or be scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken;20 Or one whose back is bent, or one who is unnaturally small, or one who has a damaged eye, or whose skin is diseased, or whose sex parts are damaged;20 곱사등이나 난장이나 눈에 백막이 있는 자나 괴혈병이나 버짐이 있는 자나 불알 상한 자나
21 No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.21 No man of the offspring of Aaron whose body is damaged in any way may come near to give the fire offerings of the Lord: he is damaged, he may not come near to make the offerings.21 제사장 아론의 자손 중에 흠이 있는 자는 나아와 여호와의 화제를 드리지 못할찌니 그는 흠이 있은즉 나아와 하나님의 식물을 드리지 못하느니라
22 He shall eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of the holy.22 He may take of the bread of God, the holy and the most holy;22 그는 하나님의 식물의 지성물이든지 성물이든지 먹을 것이나
23 Only he shall not go in unto the veil, nor come nigh unto the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not my sanctuaries: for I the LORD do sanctify them.23 But he may not go inside the veil or come near the altar, because he is damaged; and he may not make my holy places common; for I the Lord have made them holy.23 장 안에 들어가지 못할 것이요 단에 가까이 못할찌니 이는 그가 흠이 있음이라 이와 같이 그가 나의 성소를 더럽히지 못할 것은 나는 그들을 거룩하게 하는 여호와임이니라
24 And Moses told it unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel.24 These are the words which Moses said to Aaron and to his sons and to all the children of Israel.24 모세가 이대로 아론과 그 아들들과 온 이스라엘 자손에게 고하였더라
