1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,1 And the Lord said to Moses,1 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
2 Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God am holy.2 Say to all the people of Israel, You are to be holy, for I, the Lord your God, am holy.2 너는 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중에게 고하여 이르라 너희는 거룩하라 나 여호와 너희 하나님이 거룩함이니라
3 Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I am the LORD your God.3 Let every man give honour to his mother and to his father and keep my Sabbaths: I am the Lord your God.3 너희 각 사람은 부모를 경외하고 나의 안식일을 지키라 나는 너희 하나님 여호와니라
4 Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the LORD your God.4 Do not go after false gods, and do not make metal images of gods for yourselves: I am the Lord your God.4 너희는 헛것을 위하지 말며 너희를 위하여 신상들을 부어 만들지 말라 나는 너희 하나님 여호와니라
5 And if ye offer a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD, ye shall offer it at your own will.5 And when you give a peace offering to the Lord, do it in the way which is pleasing to the Lord.5 너희는 화목제 희생을 여호와께 드릴 때에 열납되도록 드리고
6 It shall be eaten the same day ye offer it, and on the morrow: and if ought remain until the third day, it shall be burnt in the fire.6 Let it be used for food on the same day on which it is offered, or on the day after; and whatever is over on the third day is to be burned with fire.6 그 제물은 드리는 날과 이튿날에 먹고 제 삼일까지 남았거든 불사르라
7 And if it be eaten at all on the third day, it is abominable; it shall not be accepted.7 If any of it is used for food on the third day, it is a disgusting thing and will not be pleasing to the Lord.7 제 삼일에 조금이라도 먹으면 가증한 것이 되어 열납되지 못하고
8 Therefore every one that eateth it shall bear his iniquity, because he hath profaned the hallowed thing of the LORD: and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.8 And as for anyone who takes it for food, his sin will be on him, for he has put shame on the holy thing of the Lord: he will be cut off from his people.8 그것을 먹는 자는 여호와의 성물 더럽힘을 인하여 죄를 당하리니 그가 그 백성 중에서 끊쳐지리라
9 And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleanings of thy harvest.9 And when you get in the grain from your land, do not let all the grain be cut from the edges of the field, or take up what has been dropped on the earth after the getting in of the grain.9 너희 땅의 곡물을 벨 때에 너는 밭 모퉁이까지 다 거두지 말고 너의 떨어진 이삭도 줍지 말며
10 And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather every grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I am the LORD your God.10 And do not take all the grapes from your vine-garden, or the fruit dropped on the earth; let the poor man, and the man from another country, have these: I am the Lord your God.10 너의 포도원의 열매를 다 따지 말며 너의 포도원에 떨어진 열매도 줍지 말고 가난한 사람과 타국인을 위하여 버려 두라 나는 너희 하나님 여호와니라
11 Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.11 Do not take anyone's property or be false in act or word to another.11 너희는 도적질하지 말며 속이지 말며 서로 거짓말 하지 말며
12 And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.12 And do not take an oath in my name falsely, putting shame on the name of your God: I am the Lord.12 너희는 내 이름으로 거짓 맹세함으로 네 하나님의 이름을 욕되게 하지 말라 나는 여호와니라
13 Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbour, neither rob him: the wages of him that is hired shall not abide with thee all night until the morning.13 Do not be cruel to your neighbour or take what is his; do not keep back a servant's payment from him all night till the morning.13 너는 네 이웃을 압제하지 말며 늑탈하지 말며 품군의 삯을 아침까지 밤새도록 네게 두지 말며
14 Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the blind, but shalt fear thy God: I am the LORD.14 Do not put a curse on those who have no hearing, or put a cause of falling in the way of the blind, but keep the fear of your God before you: I am the Lord.14 너는 귀먹은 자를 저주하지 말며 소경 앞에 장애물을 놓지 말고 네 하나님을 경외하라 나는 여호와니라
15 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.15 Do no wrong in your judging: do not give thought to the position of the poor, or honour to the position of the great; but be a judge to your neighbour in righteousness.15 너희는 재판할 때에 불의를 행치 말며 가난한 자의 편을 들지 말며 세력 있는 자라고 두호하지 말고 공의로 사람을 재판할찌며
16 Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour: I am the LORD.16 Do not go about saying untrue things among your people, or take away the life of your neighbour by false witness: I am the Lord.16 너는 네 백성 중으로 돌아다니며 사람을 논단하지 말며 네 이웃을 대적하여 죽을 지경에 이르게 하지 말라 나는 여호와니라
17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.17 Let there be no hate in your heart for your brother; but you may make a protest to your neighbour, so that he may be stopped from doing evil.17 너는 네 형제를 마음으로 미워하지 말며 이웃을 인하여 죄를 당치 않도록 그를 반드시 책선하라
18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.18 Do not make attempts to get equal with one who has done you wrong, or keep hard feelings against the children of your people, but have love for your neighbour as for yourself: I am the Lord.18 원수를 갚지 말며 동포를 원망하지 말며 이웃 사랑하기를 네 몸과 같이 하라 나는 여호와니라
19 Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.19 Keep my laws. Do not let your cattle have offspring by those of a different sort; do not put mixed seed into your field; do not put on a robe made of two sorts of cloth.19 너희는 내 규례를 지킬찌어다 네 육축을 다른 종류와 교합시키지 말며 네 밭에 두 종자를 섞어 뿌리지 말며 두 재료로 직조한 옷을 입지 말찌며
20 And whosoever lieth carnally with a woman, that is a bondmaid, betrothed to an husband, and not at all redeemed, nor freedom given her; she shall be scourged; they shall not be put to death, because she was not free.20 If any man has sex relations with a servant-woman who has given her word to be married to a man, and has not been made free for a price or in any other way, the thing will be looked into; but they will not be put to death because she was not a free woman.20 무릇 아직 속량도 되지 못하고 해방도 되지 못하고 정혼한 씨종과 사람이 행음하면 두 사람이 형벌은 받으려니와 그들이 죽임을 당치 아니할 것은 그 여인은 아직 해방되지 못하였음이라
21 And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, even a ram for a trespass offering.21 Let him take his offering for wrongdoing to the Lord, to the door of the Tent of meeting; let him give a male sheep as an offering for wrongdoing.21 그 남자는 그 속건제물 곧 속건제 수양을 회막문 여호와께로 끌어올 것이요
22 And the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering before the LORD for his sin which he hath done: and the sin which he hath done shall be forgiven him.22 And the priest will take away his sin before the Lord with the sheep which is offered for his wrongdoing, and he will have forgiveness for the sin which he has done.22 제사장은 그의 범한 죄를 위하여 그 속건제의 수양으로 여호와 앞에 속죄할 것이요 그리하면 그의 범한 죄의 사함을 받으리라
23 And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof as uncircumcised ㆍ: three years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you: it shall not be eaten of.23 And when you have come into the land, and have put in all sorts of fruit-trees, their fruit will be as if they had not had circumcision, and for three years their fruit may not be used for food.23 너희가 그 땅에 들어가 각종 과목을 심거든 그 열매는 아직 할례 받지 못한 것으로 여기되 곧 삼년 동안 너희는 그것을 할례 받지 못한 것으로 여겨 먹지 말것이요
24 But in the fourth year all the fruit thereof shall be holy to praise the LORD withal.24 And in the fourth year all the fruit will be holy as a praise-offering to the Lord.24 제 사년에는 그 모든 과실이 거룩하니 여호와께 드려 찬송할 것이며
25 And in the fifth year shall ye eat of the fruit thereof, that it may yield unto you the increase thereof: I am the LORD your God.25 But in the fifth year you may take the fruit and the increase of it for your food: I am the Lord your God.25 제 오년에는 그 열매를 먹을찌니 그리하면 너희에게 그 소산이 풍성하리라 나는 너희 하나님 여호와니라
26 Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times.26 Nothing may be used for food with its blood in it; you may not make use of strange arts, or go in search of signs and wonders.26 너희는 무엇이든지 피채 먹지 말며 복술을 하지 말며 술수를 행치 말며
27 Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.27 The ends of the hair round your face and on your chin may not be cut off.27 머리 가를 둥글게 깎지 말며 수염 끝을 손상치 말며
28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.28 You may not make cuts in your flesh in respect for the dead, or have marks printed on your bodies: I am the Lord.28 죽은 자를 위하여 너희는 살을 베지 말며 몸에 무늬를 놓지 말라 나는 여호와니라
29 Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness.29 Do not make your daughter common by letting her become a loose woman, for fear that the land may become full of shame.29 네 딸을 더럽혀 기생이 되게 말라 음풍이 전국에 퍼져 죄악이 가득할까 하노라
30 Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.30 Keep my Sabbaths and have respect for my holy place: I am the Lord.30 내 안식일을 지키고 내 성소를 공경하라 나는 여호와니라
31 Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.31 Do not go after those who make use of spirits, or wonder-workers; do not go in their ways or become unclean through them: I am the Lord your God.31 너희는 신접한 자와 박수를 믿지 말며 그들을 추종하여 스스로 더럽히지 말라 나는 너희 하나님 여호와니라
32 Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the LORD.32 Get up from your seats before the white-haired, and give honour to the old, and let the fear of your God be before you: I am the Lord.32 너는 센 머리 앞에 일어서고 노인의 얼굴을 공경하며 네 하나님을 경외하라 나는 여호와니라
33 And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him.33 And if a man from another country is living in your land with you, do not make life hard for him;33 타국인이 너희 땅에 우거하여 함께 있거든 너희는 그를 학대하지 말고
34 But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.34 Let him be to you as one of your countrymen and have love for him as for yourself; for you were living in a strange land, in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.34 너희와 함께 있는 타국인을 너희 중에서 낳은 자 같이 여기며 자기 같이 사랑하라 너희도 애굽 땅에서 객이 되었더니라 나는 너희 하나님 여호와니라
35 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure.35 Do not make false decisions in questions of yard-sticks and weights and measures.35 너희는 재판에든지 도량형에든지 불의를 행치 말고
36 Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt.36 Have true scales, true weights and measures for all things: I am the Lord your God, who took you out of the land of Egypt;36 공평한 저울과 공평한 추와 공평한 에바와 공평한 힌을 사용하라 나는 너희를 인도하여 애굽 땅에서 나오게 한 너희 하나님 여호와니라
37 Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: I am the LORD.37 You are to keep all my rules and my decisions and do them: I am the Lord.37 너희는 나의 모든 규례와 나의 모든 법도를 지켜 행하라 나는 여호와니라
