1 And the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled together at Shiloh, and set up the tabernacle of the congregation there. And the land was subdued before them.1 And all the meeting of the children of Israel came together at Shiloh and put up the Tent of meeting there: and the land was crushed before them.1 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중이 실로에 모여서 거기 회막을 세웠으니 그 땅이 이미 그들의 앞에 돌아와 복종하였음이나
2 And there remained among the children of Israel seven tribes, which had not yet received their inheritance.2 But there were still seven tribes among the children of Israel who had not taken up their heritage.2 이스라엘 자손 중에 그 기업의 분배를 얻지 못한 자가 오히려 일곱 지파라
3 And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, How long are ye slack to go to possess the land, which the LORD God of your fathers hath given you?3 Then Joshua said to the children of Israel, Why are you so slow to go in and take up your heritage in the land which the Lord, the God of your fathers, has given you?3 여호수아가 이스라엘 자손에게 이르되 너희가 너희 열조의 하나님 여호와께서 너희에게 주신 땅을 취하러 가기를 어느 때까지 지체하겠느냐
4 Give out from among you three men for each tribe: and I will send them, and they shall rise, and go through the land, and describe it according to the inheritance of them; and they shall come again to me.4 Take from among you three men from every tribe; and I will send them to go through the land and make a record of it for distribution as their heritage; then let them come back to me.4 너희는 매 지파에 삼인씩 선정하라 내가 그들을 보내리니 그들은 일어나서 그 땅에 두루 다니며 그 기업에 상당하게 그려가지고 내게로 돌아올 것이라
5 And they shall divide it into seven parts: Judah shall abide in their coast on the south, and the house of Joseph shall abide in their coasts on the north.5 And let them make division of it into seven parts: let Judah keep inside his limit on the south, and let the children of Joseph keep inside their limit on the north.5 그들이 그 땅을 일곱 부분에 나누되 유다는 남편 자기 경내에 거하고 요셉의 족속은 그 북편 자기 경내에 거한즉
6 Ye shall therefore describe the land into seven parts, and bring the description hither to me, that I may cast lots for you here before the LORD our God.6 And you are to have the land marked out in seven parts, and come back to me with the record; and I will make the distribution for you here by the decision of the Lord our God.6 그 남은 땅을 일곱 부분으로 그려서 이곳 내게로 가져올찌니 내가 여기서 너희를 위하여 우리 하나님 여호와 앞에서 제비 뽑으리라
7 But the Levites have no part among you; for the priesthood of the LORD is their inheritance: and Gad, and Reuben, and half the tribe of Manasseh, have received their inheritance beyond Jordan on the east, which Moses the servant of the LORD gave them.7 For the Levites have no part among you; to be the Lord's priests is their heritage; and Gad and Reuben and the half-tribe of Manasseh have had their heritage on the east side of Jordan, given to them by Moses, the servant of the Lord.7 레위 사람은 너희 중에 분깃이 없나니 여호와의 제사장 직분이 그들의 기업이 됨이며 갓과 르우벤과 므낫세 반 지파는 요단 저편 동편에서 이미 기업을 받았나니 이는 여호와의 종 모세가 그들에게 준 것이니라
8 And the men arose, and went away: and Joshua charged them that went to describe the land, saying, Go and walk through the land, and describe it, and come again to me, that I may here cast lots for you before the LORD in Shiloh.8 So the men got up and went; and Joshua gave orders to those who went, to make a record of the land, saying, Go up and down through the land, and make a record of it and come back here to me, and I will make the distribution for you here by the decision of the Lord in Shiloh.8 그 사람들이 일어나 떠나니 여호수아가 땅을 그리러 가는 그들에게 명하여 가로되 가서 그 땅으로 두루 다니며 그려가지고 내게로 돌아 오라 내가 여기 실로에서 여호와 앞에서 너희를 위하여 제비 뽑으리라
9 And the men went and passed through the land, and described it by cities into seven parts in a book, and came again to Joshua to the host at Shiloh.9 So the men went, travelling through the land, and made a record of it by towns in seven parts in a book, and came back to Joshua to the tent-circle at Shiloh.9 그 사람들이 가서 그 땅으로 두루 다니며 성읍들을 따라서 일곱 부분으로 책에 그리고 실로 진에 돌아와 여호수아에게 나아오니
10 And Joshua cast lots for them in Shiloh before the LORD: and there Joshua divided the land unto the children of Israel according to their divisions.10 And Joshua made the distribution for them in Shiloh by the decision of the Lord, marking out the land for the children of Israel by their divisions.10 여호수아가 그들을 위하여 실로 여호와 앞에서 제비 뽑고 그가 거기서 이스라엘 자손의 분파대로 땅을 분배하였더라
11 And the lot of the tribe of the children of Benjamin came up according to their families: and the coast of their lot came forth between the children of Judah and the children of Joseph.11 And the first heritage came out for the tribe of Benjamin by their families: and the limit of their heritage went between the children of Judah and the children of Joseph.11 베냐민 자손 지파를 위하여 그 가족대로 제비를 뽑았으니 그 제비 뽑은 땅의 경계는 유다 자손과 요셉 자손의 중간이라
12 And their border on the north side was from Jordan; and the border went up to the side of Jericho on the north side, and went up through the mountains westward; and the goings out thereof were at the wilderness of Bethaven.12 And their limit on the north was from the Jordan, and the line goes up to the side of Jericho on the north and through the hill-country to the west, ending at the waste land of Beth-aven.12 그 북방 경계는 요단에서부터 여리고 북편으로 올라가서 서편 산지를 넘어서 또 올라가서 벧아웬 황무지에 이르며
13 And the border went over from thence toward Luz, to the side of Luz, which is Bethel, southward; and the border descended to Atarothadar, near the hill that lieth on the south side of the nether Bethhoron.13 And from there the line goes south to Luz, to the side of Luz (which is Beth-el), then down to Ataroth-addar, by the mountain to the south of Beth-horon the lower.13 또 그 경계가 거기서부터 루스로 나아가서 루스 남편에 이르나니 루스는 곧 벧엘이며 또 그 경계가 아다롯 앗달로 내려가서 아래 벧 호론 남편 산 곁으로 지나고
14 And the border was drawn thence, and compassed the corner of the sea southward, from the hill that lieth before Bethhoron southward; and the goings out thereof were at Kirjathbaal, which is Kirjathjearim, a city of the children of Judah: this was the west quarter.14 And the limit is marked as coming round to the south on the west side from the mountain which is south of Beth-horon, and ending at Kiriath-baal (which is Kiriath-jearim), a town of the children of Judah: this is the west part.14 벧 호론 앞 남편 산에서부터 서방으로 돌아 남편으로 향하여 유다 자손의 성읍 기럇 바알 곧 기럇 여아림에 이르러 끝이 되나니 이는 서방 경계며
15 And the south quarter was from the end of Kirjathjearim, and the border went out on the west, and went out to the well of waters of Nephtoah:15 And the south part is from the farthest point of Kiriath-jearim, and the line goes out to the west to the fountain of the waters of Nephtoah:15 남방 경계는 기럇 여아림 끝에서부터 서편으로 나아가 넵도아 물 근원에 이르고
16 And the border came down to the end of the mountain that lieth before the valley of the son of Hinnom, and which is in the valley of the giants on the north, and descended to the valley of Hinnom, to the side of Jebusi on the south, and descended to Enrogel,16 And the line goes down to the farthest part of the mountain facing the valley of the son of Hinnom, which is on the north of the valley of Rephaim: from there it goes down to the valley of Hinnom, to the side of the Jebusite on the south as far as En-rogel;16 르바임 골짜기 북편 힌놈의 아들 골짜기 앞에 있는 산 끝으로 내려가고 또 힌놈의 골짜기로 내려가서 여부스 남편에 이르러 엔 로겔로 내려가고
17 And was drawn from the north, and went forth to Enshemesh, and went forth toward Geliloth, which is over against the going up of Adummim, and descended to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben,17 And it goes to En-shemesh and on to Geliloth, opposite the way up to Adummim, and it goes down to the stone of Bohan, the son of Reuben;17 또 북향하여 엔 세메스로 나아가서 아둠밈 비탈 맞은편 글릴롯으로 나아가서 르우벤 자손 보한의 돌까지 내려가고
18 And passed along toward the side over against Arabah northward, and went down unto Arabah:18 And it goes on to the side facing the Arabah to the north, and down to the Arabah;18 북으로 아라바 맞은편을 지나 아라바로 내려가고
19 And the border passed along to the side of Bethhoglah northward: and the outgoings of the border were at the north bay of the salt sea at the south end of Jordan: this was the south coast.19 And on to the north side of Beth-hoglah, ending at the north inlet of the Salt Sea at the south end of Jordan; this is their limit on the south.19 또 북으로 벧 호글라 곁을 지나서 요단 남단에 당한 염해의 북편 해만이 그 경계의 끝이 되나니 이는 남편 경계며
20 And Jordan was the border of it on the east side. This was the inheritance of the children of Benjamin, by the coasts thereof round about, according to their families.20 And the limit of the east part is the Jordan. This is the heritage of the children of Benjamin, marked out for their families by these limits on all sides.20 동방 경계는 요단이니 이는 베냐민 자손이 그 가족대로 얻은 기업의 사면 경계이었더라
21 Now the cities of the tribe of the children of Benjamin according to their families were Jericho, and Bethhoglah, and the valley of Keziz.,21 And the towns of the children of Benjamin, given to them in the order of their families, are Jericho and Beth-hoglah and Emek-kezziz21 베냐민 자손의 지파가 그 가족대로 얻은 성읍들은 여리고와 벧 호글라와 에멕 그시스와
22 And Betharabah, and Zemaraim, and Bethel,22 And Beth-arabah and Zemaraim and Beth-el22 벧 아라바와 스마라임과 벧엘과
23 And Avim, and Parah, and Ophrah,23 And Avvim and Parah and Ophrah23 아윔과 바라와 오브라와
24 And Chepharhaammonai, and Ophni, and Gaba; twelve ㆍ cities with their villages:24 And Chephar-Ammoni and Ophni and Geba; twelve towns with their unwalled places;24 그발 암모니와 오브니와 게바니 십 이 성읍이요 또 그 촌락이며
25 Gibeon, and Ramah, and Beeroth,25 Gibeon and Ramah and Beeroth25 기브온과 라마와 브에롯과
26 And Mizpeh, and Chephirah, and Mozah,26 And Mizpeh and Chephirah and Mozah26 미스베와 그비라와 모사와
27 And Rekem, and Irpeel, and Taralah,27 And Rekem and Irpeel and Taralah27 레겜과 이르브엘과 다랄라와
28 And Zelah, Eleph, and Jebusi, which is Jerusalem, Gibeath, and Kirjath; fourteen ㆍ cities with their villages. This is the inheritance of the children of Benjamin according to their families.28 And Zela, Eleph and the Jebusite (which is Jerusalem), Gibeath and Kiriath; fourteen towns with their unwalled places. This is the heritage of the children of Benjamin by their families.28 셀라와 엘렙과 여부스 곧 예루살렘과 기부앗과 기럇이니 십 사 성읍이요 또 그 촌락이라 이는 베냐민 자손이 그 가족대로 얻은 기업이었더라
