And its boundary was at the sea. BBE: And it goes down to the west to the limit of the Japhletites, to the limit of Beth-horon the lower, as far as Gezer; ending at the sea. 5 And the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families was thus: even the border of their inheritance on the east side was Atarothaddar, unto Bethhoron the upper;[x]MKJV: And the border of the sons of Ephraim was by their families: the border of their inheritance on the east side [was] Ataroth-addar, to Beth-horon the upper. 6 And the border went out toward the sea to Michmethah on the north side; and the border went abouteastward unto Taanathshiloh, and passed by it on the east to Janohah;[x]MKJV: And the border went out toward the sea to Michmethah on the north side. And the border went about eastward to Taanath-shiloh, and passed by it on the east to Janohah. 6 The line goes out to the west at Michmethath on the north; then turning to the east to Taanath-shiloh, going past it on the east of Janoah;

7 And it went down from Janohah to Ataroth, and to Naarath, and came to Jericho, and went out at Jordan.[x]MKJV: And it went down from Janohah to Ataroth, and to Naarath, and came again to Jericho, and went out at Jordan. BBE: And from Janoah down to Ataroth, and to Naarah, and touching Jericho, it goes on to Jordan. 8 The border went out from Tappuahwestward unto the riverKanah; and the goings out thereof were at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim by their families.[x]MKJV: The border went out from Tappuah westward to the river Kanah. And the boundary was at the sea. This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim by their families. BBE: From Tappuah the line goes on to the west to the river of Kanah; ending at the sea. 9 And the separatecities for the children of Ephraimwereamong the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.[x]MKJV: And the separate cities for the sons of Ephraim [were] among the inheritance of the sons of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages. BBE: Together with the towns marked out for the children of Ephraim in the heritage of Manasseh, all the towns with their unwalled places. KAV: 에브라임 자손을 위해 구분한 도시들 곧 모든 도시들과 그것들의 마을들이 므낫세 자손의 상속 재산 가운데 있더라. 9 Together with the towns marked out for the children of Ephraim in the heritage of Manasseh, all the towns with their unwalled places.
9 그 외에 므낫세 자손의 기업 중에서 에브라임 자손을 위하여 구별한 모든 성읍과 촌락도 있었더라
10 And they drave not out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer: but the Canaanitesdwellamong the Ephraimites unto this day, and serve under tribute.[x]MKJV: And they did not drive out the Canaanites who lived in Gezer. But the Canaanites live among the Ephraimites until this day, and serve under tribute. BBE: And the Canaanites who were living in Gezer were not forced out; but the Canaanites have been living among Ephraim, to this day, as servants, doing forced work. 10 And the Canaanites who were living in Gezer were not forced out; but the Canaanites have been living among Ephraim, to this day, as servants, doing forced work.
10 그들이 게셀에 거하는 가나안 사람을 쫓아내지 아니하였으므로 가나안 사람이 오늘날까지 에브라임 가운데 거하며 사역하는 종이 되니라
