1 Now Joshua was old and stricken in years; and the LORD said unto him, Thou art old and stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.1 Now Joshua was old and full of years; and the Lord said to him, You are old and full of years, and there is still very much land to be taken.1 여호수아가 나이 많아 늙으매 여호와께서 그에게 이르시되 너는 나이 많아 늙었고 얻을 땅의 남은 것은 매우 많도다
2 This is the land that yet remaineth: all the borders of the Philistines, and all Geshuri,2 This is the land which is still to be taken: all the country of the Philistines, and all the Geshurites;2 이 남은 땅은 이러하니 블레셋 사람의 온 지방과 그술 사람의 전경
3 From Sihor, which is before Egypt, even unto the borders of Ekron northward, which is counted to the Canaanite: five lords of the Philistines; the Gazathites, and the Ashdothites, the Eshkalonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites; also the Avites:3 From the Shihor, which is before Egypt, to the edge of Ekron to the north, which is taken to be Canaanite property: the five chiefs of the Philistines; the Gazites, and the Ashdodites, the Ashkelonites, the Gittites, and the Ekronites, as well as the Avvim;3 곧 애굽 앞 시홀 시내에서부터 가나안 사람에게 속한 북방 에그론 지경까지와 블레셋 사람의 다섯 방백의 땅 곧 가사 사람과 아스돗 사람과 아스글론 사람과 가드 사람과 에그론 사람과 또 남방 아위 사람의 땅과
4 From the south, all the land of the Canaanites, and Mearah that is beside the Sidonians, unto Aphek, to the borders of the Amorites:4 On the south: all the land of the Canaanites, and Mearah which is the property of the Zidonians, to Aphek, as far as the limit of the Amorites:4 또 가나안 사람의 온 땅과 시돈 사람에게 속한 므아라와 아모리 사람의 지경 아벡까지와
5 And the land of the Giblites, and all Lebanon, toward the sunrising ㆍ, from Baalgad under mount Hermon unto the entering into Hamath.5 And the land of the Gebalites, and all Lebanon, looking east, from Baal-gad under Mount Hermon as far as Hamath:5 또 그발 사람의 땅과 동편 온 레바논 곧 헤르몬산 아래 바알갓에서부터 하맛에 들어가는 곳까지와
6 All the inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon unto Misrephothmaim, and all the Sidonians, them will I drive out from before the children of Israel: only divide thou it by lot unto the Israelites for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.6 All the people of the hill-country from Lebanon to Misrephoth-maim, all the Zidonians; them will I send out from before the children of Israel: only make division of it to Israel for a heritage, as I have given you orders to do.6 또 레바논에서부터 미스르봇마임까지의 산지 모든 거민 곧 모든 시돈 사람의 땅이라 내가 그들을 이스라엘 자손 앞에서 쫓아 내리니 너는 나의 명한대로 그 땅을 이스라엘에게 분배하여 기업이 되게 하되
7 Now therefore divide this land for an inheritance unto the nine tribes, and the half tribe of Manasseh,7 So now make division of this land for a heritage to the nine tribes, and the half-tribe of Manasseh.7 너는 이 땅을 아홉 지파와 므낫세 반 지파에게 나누어 기업이 되게 하라 하셨더라
8 With whom the Reubenites and the Gadites have received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond Jordan eastward, even as Moses the servant of the LORD gave them;8 With him the Reubenites and the Gadites have been given their heritage, which Moses gave them, on the east side of Jordan, as Moses, the servant of the Lord, gave them;8 므낫세 반 지파와 함께 르우벤 사람과 갓 사람은 요단 동편에서 그 기업을 모세에게 받았는데 여호와의 종 모세가 그들에게 준 것은 이러하니
9 From Aroer, that is upon the bank of the river Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the river, and all the plain of Medeba unto Dibon;9 From Aroer, on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the town in the middle of the valley, and all the table-land from Medeba to Dibon;9 곧 아르논 골짜기 가에 있는 아로엘에서부터 골짜기 가운데 있는 성읍과 디본까지 이르는 메드바 온 평지와
10 And all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, which reigned in Heshbon, unto the border of the children of Ammon;10 And all the towns of Sihon, king of the Amorites, who was ruling in Heshbon, to the limits of the children of Ammon;10 헤스본에 도읍하였던 아모리 사람의 왕 시혼의 모든 성읍 곧 암몬 자손의 지경까지와
11 And Gilead, and the border of the Geshurites and Maachathites, and all mount Hermon, and all Bashan unto Salcah;11 And Gilead, and the land of the Geshurites and the Maacathites, and all Mount Hermon, and all Bashan to Salecah;11 길르앗과 및 그술 사람과 마아갓 사람의 지경과 온 헤르몬산과 살르가까지 이른 온 바산
12 All the kingdom of Og in Bashan, which reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei, who remained of the remnant of the giants: for these did Moses smite, and cast them out.12 All the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who was ruling in Ashtaroth and in Edrei (he was one of the last of the Rephaim); these did Moses overcome, driving them out of their country.12 곧 르바의 남은 족속으로서 아스다롯과 에드레이에 도읍하였던 바산 왕 옥의 온 나라라 모세가 이 땅의 사람들을 쳐서 쫓아내었어도
13 Nevertheless the children of Israel expelled not the Geshurites, nor the Maachathites: but the Geshurites and the Maachathites dwell among the Israelites until this day.13 However, the people of Israel did not send out the Geshurites, or the Maacathites: but Geshur and Maacath are living among Israel to this day.13 그술 사람과 마아갓 사람은 이스라엘 자손이 쫓아 내지 아니하였으므로 그술과 마아갓이 오늘날까지 이스라엘 가운데 거하더라
14 Only unto the tribe of Levi he gave none inheritance; the sacrifices of the LORD God of Israel made by fire are their inheritance, as he said unto them.14 Only to the tribe of Levi he gave no heritage; the offerings of the Lord, the God of Israel, made by fire are his heritage, as he said to him.14 오직 레위 지파에게는 여호수아가 기업으로 준 것이 없었으니 이는 이스라엘 하나님 여호와께 드리는 화제물이 그 기업이 됨이 그에게 이르신 말씀과 같음이었더라
15 And Moses gave unto the tribe of the children of Reuben inheritance according to their families.15 And Moses gave their heritage to the tribe of Reuben by their families.15 모세가 르우벤 자손의 지파에게 그 가족을 따라서 주었으니
16 And their coast was from Aroer, that is on the bank of the river Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the river, and all the plain by Medeba;16 Their limit was from Aroer, on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the town in the middle of the valley, and all the table-land by Medeba;16 그 지경은 아르논 골짜기 가에 있는 아로엘에서부터 골짜기 가운데 있는 성읍과 메드바 곁에 있는 온 평지와
17 Heshbon, and all her cities that are in the plain; Dibon, and Bamothbaal, and Bethbaalmeon,17 Heshbon and all her towns in the table-land; Dibon, and Bamoth-baal, and Beth-baal-meon;17 헤스본과 그 평지에 있는 모든 성읍 곧 디본과 바못 바알과 벧 바알 므온과
18 And Jahaza, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath,18 And Jahaz, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath;18 야하스와 그데못과 메바앗과
19 And Kirjathaim, and Sibmah, and Zarethshahar in the mount of the valley,19 And Kiriathaim, and Sibmah, and Zereth-shahar in the mountain of the valley;19 기랴다임과 십마와 골짜기 가운데 산에 있는 세렛 사할과
20 And Bethpeor, and Ashdothpisgah ㆍ, and Bethjeshimoth,20 And Beth-peor, and the slopes of Pisgah, and Beth-jeshimoth;20 벧브올과 비스가 산록과 벧여시못과
21 And all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, which reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses smote with the princes of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, which were dukes of Sihon, dwelling in the country.21 And all the towns of the table-land, and all the kingdom of Sihon, king of the Amorites, who was ruling in Heshbon, whom Moses overcame, together with the chiefs of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, the chiefs of Sihon, who were living in the land.21 평지 모든 성읍과 헤스본에 도읍한 아모리 사람 시혼의 온 나라라 모세가 시혼을 그 땅에 거하는 시혼의 방백 곧 미디안의 귀족 에위와 레겜과 술과 훌과 레바와 함께 죽였으며
22 Balaam also the son of Beor, the soothsayer, did the children of Israel slay with the sword among them that were slain by them.22 And Balaam, the son of Beor, the prophet, the children of Israel put to death with the sword.22 이스라엘 자손이 그들을 도륙하는 중에 브올의 아들 술사 발람도 칼날로 죽였었더라
23 And the border of the children of Reuben was Jordan, and the border thereof. This was the inheritance of the children of Reuben after their families, the cities and the villages thereof.23 And the limit of the children of Reuben was the edge of Jordan. This was the heritage of the children of Reuben by their families, with its towns and its unwalled places.23 르우벤 자손의 서편 경계는 요단과 그 강 가라 이상은 르우벤 자손의 기업으로 그 가족대로 받은 성읍과 촌락이니라
24 And Moses gave inheritance unto the tribe of Gad, even unto the children of Gad according to their families.24 And Moses gave their heritage to the tribe of Gad by their families.24 모세가 갓 지파 곧 갓 자손에게도 그 가족을 따라서 주었으니
25 And their coast was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the children of Ammon, unto Aroer that is before Rabbah;25 And their limit was Jazer, and all the towns of Gilead, and half the land of the children of Ammon, to Aroer before Rabbah;25 그 지경은 야셀과 길르앗 모든 성읍과 암몬 자손의 땅 절반 곧 랍바 앞의 아로엘까지와
26 And from Heshbon unto Ramathmizpeh, and Betonim; and from Mahanaim unto the border of Debir;26 And from Heshbon to Ramath-mizpeh, and Betonim; and from Mahanaim to the edge of Debir;26 헤스본에서 라맛 미스베와 브도님까지와 마하나임에서 드빌 지경까지와
27 And in the valley, Betharam, and Bethnimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, Jordan and his border, even unto the edge of the sea of Chinnereth on the other side Jordan eastward.27 And in the valley, Beth-haram, and Beth-nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon, king of Heshbon, having Jordan for its limit, to the end of the sea of Chinnereth on the east side of Jordan.27 골짜기에 있는 벧 하람과 벧니므라와 숙곳과 사본 곧 헤스본 왕 시혼의 나라의 남은 땅 요단과 그 강 가에서부터 요단 동편 긴네렛 바다의 끝까지라
28 This is the inheritance of the children of Gad after their families, the cities, and their villages.28 This is the heritage of the children of Gad by their families, with its towns and its unwalled places28 이는 갓 자손의 기업으로 그 가족대로 받은 성읍과 촌락이니라
29 And Moses gave inheritance unto the half tribe of Manasseh: and this was the possession of the half tribe of the children of Manasseh by their families.29 And Moses gave their heritage to the half-tribe of Manasseh by their families.29 모세가 므낫세 반 지파에게 주었으되 므낫세 자손의 반 지파에게 그 가족대로 주었으니
30 And their coast was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Jair, which are in Bashan, threescore cities:30 And their limit was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og, king of Bashan, and all Havvoth-Jair, in Bashan, sixty towns;30 그 지경은 마하나임에서부터 온 바산 곧 바산 왕 옥의 전국과 바산 경내 야일의 모든 고을 육십 성읍과
31 And half Gilead, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were pertaining unto the children of Machir the son of Manasseh, even to the one half of the children of Machir by their families.31 And half Gilead, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, towns of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were for the children of Machir, the son of Manasseh, for half of the children of Machir by their families.31 길르앗 절반과 바산 왕 옥의 나라 성읍 아스다롯과 에드레이라 이는 므낫세의 아들 마길의 자손에게 돌린 것이니 곧 마길 자손의 절반이 그 가족대로 받으니라
32 These are the countries which Moses did distribute for inheritance in the plains of Moab, on the other side Jordan, by Jericho, eastward.32 These are the heritages of which Moses made distribution in the lowlands of Moab, on the other side of Jordan in Jericho, to the east.32 요단 동편 여리고 맞은편 모압 평지에서 모세가 분배한 기업이 이러하여도
33 But unto the tribe of Levi Moses gave not any inheritance: the LORD God of Israel was their inheritance, as he said unto them.33 But to the tribe of Levi Moses gave no heritage: the Lord, the God of Israel, is their heritage, as he said to them.33 오직 레위 지파에게는 모세가 기업을 주지 아니하였으니 이는 그들에게 말씀하심 같이 이스라엘 하나님 여호와께서 그 기업이 되심이었더라
