| 9 And said unto them, Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, unto whom ye sent me to present your supplication before him; | 9 And said to them, These are the words of the Lord, the God of Israel, to whom you sent me to put your request before him: | 9 그들에게 이르되 너희가 나를 보내어 너희의 간구를 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께 드리게 하지 아니하였느냐 그가 가라사대 |
| 10 If ye will still abide in this land, then will I build you, and not pull you down, and I will plant you, and not pluck you up: for I repent me of the evil that I have done unto you. | 10 If you still go on living in the land, then I will go on building you up and not pulling you down, planting you and not uprooting you: for my purpose of doing evil to you has been changed. | 10 너희가 이 땅에 여전히 거하면 내가 너희를 세우고 헐지 아니하며 너희를 심고 뽑지 아니하리니 이는 내가 너희에게 내린 재앙에 대하여 뜻을 돌이킴이니라 |
| 11 Be not afraid of the king of Babylon, of whom ye are afraid; be not afraid of him, saith the LORD: for I am with you to save you, and to deliver you from his hand. | 11 Have no fear of the king of Babylon, of whom you are now in fear; have no fear of him, says the Lord: for I am with you to keep you safe and to give you salvation from his hands. | 11 나 여호와가 말하노라 너희는 그 두려워하는 바벨론 왕을 두려워 말라 내가 너희와 함께 하여 너희를 구원하며 그의 손에서 너희를 건지리니 두려워 말라 |
| 12 And I will show mercies unto you, that he may have mercy upon you, and cause you to return to your own land. | 12 And I will have mercy on you, so that he may have mercy on you and let you go back to your land. | 12 내가 너희를 긍휼히 여기리니 그로도 너희를 긍휼히 여기게 하여 너희를 너희 본향으로 돌려보내게 하리라 하셨느니라 |
| 13 But if ye say, We will not dwell in this land, neither obey the voice of the LORD your God, | 13 But if you say, We have no desire to go on living in this land; and do not give ear to the voice of the Lord your God, | 13 그러나 만일 너희가 너희 하나님 여호와의 말씀을 순복지 아니하고 말하기를 우리는 이 땅에 거하지 아니하리라 하며 |
| 14 Saying, No; but we will go into the land of Egypt, where we shall see no war, nor hear the sound of the trumpet, nor have hunger of bread; and there will we dwell: | 14 Saying, No, but we will go into the land of Egypt, where we will not see war, or be hearing the sound of the horn, or be in need of food; there we will make our living-place; | 14 또 말하기를 우리는 전쟁도 보이지 아니하며 나팔소리도 들리지 아니하며 식물의 핍절도 당치 아니하는 애굽 땅으로 결단코 들어가 거하리라 하면 잘못 되리라 |
| 15 And now therefore hear the word of the LORD, ye remnant of Judah; Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; If ye wholly set your faces to enter into Egypt, and go to sojourn there; | 15 Then give ear now to the word of the Lord, O you last of Judah: the Lord of armies, the God of Israel, has said, If your minds are fixed on going into Egypt and stopping there; | 15 너희 유다의 남은 자여 이제 여호와의 말씀을 들으라 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말씀하시되 너희가 만일 애굽에 들어가서 거기 거하기로 고집하면 |
| 16 Then it shall come to pass, that the sword, which ye feared, shall overtake you there in the land of Egypt, and the famine, whereof ye were afraid, shall follow close after you there in Egypt; and there ye shall die. | 16 Then it will come about that the sword, which is the cause of your fear, will overtake you there in the land of Egypt, and need of food, which you are fearing, will go after you there in Egypt; and there death will come to you. | 16 너희의 두려워하는 칼이 애굽 땅으로 따라가서 너희에게 미칠 것이요 너희의 두려워하는 기근이 애굽으로 급히 따라가서 너희에게 임하리니 너희가 거기서 죽을 것이라 |
| 17 So shall it be with all the men that set their faces to go into Egypt to sojourn there; they shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence: and none of them shall remain or escape from the evil that I will bring upon them. | 17 Such will be the fate of all the men whose minds are fixed on going into Egypt and stopping there; they will come to their end by the sword, by being short of food, and by disease: not one of them will keep his life or get away from the evil which I will send on them. | 17 무릇 애굽으로 들어가서 거기 우거하기로 고집하는 모든 사람은 이같이 되리니 곧 칼과 기근과 염병에 죽을 것인즉 내가 그들에게 내리는 재앙을 벗어나서 남을 자 없으리라 |
| 18 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As mine anger and my fury hath been poured forth upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem; so shall my fury be poured forth upon you, when ye shall enter into Egypt: and ye shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach; and ye shall see this place no more. | 18 For this is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel, has said: As my wrath and passion have been let loose on the people of Jerusalem, so will my passion be let loose on you when you go into Egypt: and you will become an oath and a cause of wonder and a curse and a name of shame; and you will never see this place again. | 18 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말씀하시되 나의 노와 분을 예루살렘 거민에게 부은 것 같이 너희가 애굽에 이른 때에 나의 분을 너희에게 부으리니 너희가 가증함과 놀램과 저주와 치욕거리가 될 것이라 너희가 다시는 이 땅을 보지 못하리라 하시도다 |
| 19 The LORD hath said concerning you, O ye remnant of Judah; Go ye not into Egypt: know certainly that I have admonished you this day. | 19 The Lord has said about you, O last of Judah, Go not into Egypt: be certain that I have given witness to you this day. | 19 유다의 남은 자들아 여호와께서 너희 일로 하신 말씀에 너희는 애굽으로 가지 말라 하셨고 나도 오늘날 너희에게 경계한 것을 너희는 분명히 알라 |
| 20 For ye dissembled in your hearts, when ye sent me unto the LORD your God, saying, Pray for us unto the LORD our God; and according unto all that the LORD our God shall say, so declare unto us, and we will do it. | 20 For you have been acting with deceit in your hearts; for you sent me to the Lord your God, saying, Make prayer for us to the Lord our God, and give us word of everything he may say, and we will do it. | 20 너희가 나를 너희 하나님 여호와께 보내며 이르기를 우리를 위하여 우리 하나님 여호와께 기도하고 우리 하나님 여호와께서 말씀하신대로 우리에게 고하라 우리가 이를 행하리라 하여 너희 마음을 속였느니라 |
| 21 And now I have this day declared it to you; but ye have not obeyed the voice of the LORD your God, nor any thing for the which he hath sent me unto you. | 21 And this day I have made it clear to you, and you have not given ear to the voice of the Lord your God in anything for which he has sent me to you. | 21 너희 하나님 여호와께서 나를 보내사 너희에게 명하신 말씀을 내가 오늘날 너희에게 고하였어도 너희가 그 목소리를 도무지 순종치 아니하였은즉 |
| 22 Now therefore know certainly that ye shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, in the place whither ye desire to go and to sojourn. | 22 And now be certain that you will come to your end by the sword and by being short of food and by disease, in the place to which you are pleased to go for a living-place. | 22 너희가 가서 우거하려 하는 곳에서 칼과 기근과 염병에 죽을줄 분명히 알찌니라 |
