Troubles which shall be before the restoration of Israel. (1-11) Encouragement to trust Divine promises. (12-17) The blessings under Christ, and the wrath on the wicked. (18-24)
KJV BBE KRV
The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,1 여호와께로서 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하여 이르시니라
Thus speaketh the LORD God of Israel, saying, Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book.2 The Lord, the God of Israel, has said, Put down in a book all the words which I have said to you.2 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께서 이같이 일러 가라사대 내가 네게 이른 모든 말을 책에 기록하라
For, lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.3 For see, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will let the fate of my people Israel and Judah be changed, says the Lord: and I will make them come back to the land which I gave to their fathers, so that they may take it for their heritage.3 나 여호와가 말하노라 내가 내 백성 이스라엘과 유다의 포로를 돌이킬 때가 이르리니 내가 그들을 그 열조에게 준 땅으로 돌아오게 할 것이라 그들이 그것을 차지하리라 여호와의 말이니라
And these are the words that the LORD spake concerning Israel and concerning Judah.4 And these are the words which the Lord said about Israel and about Judah.4 여호와께서 이스라엘과 유다에 대하여 하신 말씀이 이러하니라
For thus saith the LORD; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace.5 This is what the Lord has said: A voice of shaking fear has come to our ears, of fear and not of peace.5 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시되 우리가 떨리는 소리를 들으니 두려움이요 평안함이 아니로다
Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness?6 Put the question and see if it is possible for a man to have birth-pains: why do I see every man with his hands gripping his sides, as a woman does when the pains of birth are on her, and all faces are turned green?6 너희는 자식을 해산하는 남자가 있는가 물어보라 남자마다 해산하는 여인 같이 손으로 각기 허리를 짚고 그 얼굴 빛이 창백하여 보임은 어찜이뇨
Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.7 Ha! for that day is so great that there is no day like it: it is the time of Jacob's trouble: but he will get salvation from it.7 슬프다 그 날이여 비할데 없이 크니 이는 야곱의 환난의 때가 됨이로다마는 그가 이에서 구하여냄을 얻으리로다
For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him:8 For it will come about on that day, says the Lord of armies, that his yoke will be broken off his neck, and his bands will be burst; and men of strange lands will no longer make use of him as their servant:8 만군의 여호와가 말하노라 그 날에 내가 네 목에서 그 멍에를 꺾어버리며 네 줄을 끊으리니 이방인이 다시는 너를 부리지 못할 것이며
But they shall serve the LORD their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.9 But they will be servants to the Lord their God and to David their king, whom I will give back to them.9 너희는 너희 하나님 나 여호와를 섬기며 내가 너희를 위하여 일으킬 너희 왕 다윗을 섬기리라
Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him afraid.10 So have no fear, O Jacob, my servant, says the Lord; and do not be troubled, O Israel: for see, I will make you come back from far away, and your seed from the land where they are prisoners; and Jacob will come back, and will be quiet and at peace, and no one will give him cause for fear.10 그러므로 나 여호와가 말하노라 내 종 야곱아 두려워 말라 이스라엘아 놀라지 말라 내가 너를 원방에서 구원하고 네 자손을 포로된 땅에서 구원하리니 야곱이 돌아와서 태평과 안락을 얻을 것이라 너를 두렵게 할 자 없으리라
For I am with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet will I not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.11 For I am with you, says the Lord, to be your saviour: for I will put an end to all the nations where I have sent you wandering, but I will not put an end to you completely: though with wise purpose I will put right your errors, and will not let you go quite without punishment.11 나 여호와가 말하노라 내가 너와 함께하여 너를 구원할 것이라 내가 너를 흩었던 그 열방은 진멸한다 할찌라도 너는 진멸하지 아니하리라 그러나 내가 공도로 너를 징책할 것이요 결코 무죄한 자로 여기지 아니하리라
For thus saith the LORD, Thy bruise is incurable, and thy wound is grievous.12 For the Lord has said, Your disease may not be made well and your wound is bitter.12 나 여호와가 말하노라 네 상처는 고칠 수 없고 네 창상은 중하도다
There is none to plead thy cause, that thou mayest be bound up: thou hast no healing medicines.13 There is no help for your wound, there is nothing to make you well.13 네 송사를 변호할 자가 없고 네 상처를 싸맬 약이 없도다
All thy lovers have forgotten thee; they seek thee not; for I have wounded thee with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the multitude of thine iniquity; because thy sins were increased.14 Your lovers have no more thought for you, they go after you no longer; for I have given you the wound of a hater, even cruel punishment;14 너를 사랑하던 자가 다 너를 잊고 찾지 아니하니 이는 네 허물이 크고 네 죄가 수다함을 인하여 내가 대적의 상하게하는 그 것으로 너를 상하게 하며 잔학한 자의 징계하는 그 것으로 너를 징계함이어늘
Why criest thou for thine affliction? thy sorrow is incurable for the multitude of thine iniquity: because thy sins were increased, I have done these things unto thee.15 Why are you crying for help because of your wound? for your pain may never be taken away: because your evil-doing was so great and because your sins were increased, I have done these things to you.15 어찌하여 네 상처를 인하여 부르짖느뇨 네 고통이 낫지 못하리라 네 죄악의 큼과 죄의 수다함을 인하여 내가 네게 이 일을 행하였느니라
Therefore all they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil thee shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon thee will I give for a prey.16 For this cause, all those who take you for their food will themselves become your food; and all your attackers, every one of them, will be taken prisoners; and those who send destruction on you will come to destruction; and all those who take away your goods by force will undergo the same themselves.16 그러나 무릇 너를 먹는 자는 먹히며 무릇 너를 치는 자는 다 포로가 되며 너를 탈취하는 자는 탈취를 당하며 무릇 너를 약탈하는 자는 내가 그로 약탈을 당하게 하리라
For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.17 For I will make you healthy again and I will make you well from your wounds, says the Lord; because they have given you the name of an outlaw, saying, It is Zion cared for by no man.17 나 여호와가 말하노라 그들이 쫓겨난 자라 하며 찾는 자가 없는 시온이라 한즉 내가 너를 치료하여 네 상처를 낫게 하리라
Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob's tents, and have mercy on his dwellingplaces; and the city shall be builded upon her own heap, and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof.18 The Lord has said, See, I am changing the fate of the tents of Jacob, and I will have pity on his houses; the town will be put up on its hill, and the great houses will be living-places again.18 나 여호와가 말하노라 보라 내가 포로된 야곱의 장막들을 돌이키고 그 거하는 곳들을 긍휼히 여길 것이라 그 성읍은 자기 산에 중건 될 것이요 그 궁궐은 본래대로 거하는 곳이 될 것이며
And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.19 And from them will go out praise and the sound of laughing: and I will make them great in number, and they will not become less; and I will give them glory, and they will not be small.19 감사하는 소리와 즐거워하는 자의 목소리가 그 중에서 나오리라 내가 그들을 번성케 하리니 쇠잔치 아니하겠고 내가 그들을 영화롭게 하리니 비천하지 아니하겠으며
Their children also shall be as aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them.20 And their children will be as they were in the old days, and the meeting of the people will have its place before me, and I will send punishment on all who are cruel to them.20 그 자손은 여전하겠고 그 회중은 내 앞에 굳게 설 것이며 무릇 그를 압박하는 자는 내가 다 벌하리라
And their nobles shall be of themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach unto me: for who is this that engaged his heart to approach unto me? saith the LORD.21 And their chief will be of their number; their ruler will come from among themselves; and I will let him be present before me, so that he may come near to me: for who may have strength of heart to come near me? says the Lord.21 그 왕은 그 본족에게서 날 것이요 그 통치자는 그들 중에서 나올 것이며 내가 그를 가까이 오게 하므로 그가 내게 접근하리라 그렇지 않고 담대히 내게 접근할 자가 누구뇨 여호와의 말이니라
And ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.22 And you will be my people, and I will be your God.22 너희는 내 백성이 되겠고 나는 너희 하나님이 되리라
Behold, the whirlwind of the LORD goeth forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked.23 See, the storm-wind of the Lord, even the heat of his wrath, has gone out, a rolling storm, bursting on the heads of the evil-doers.23 보라 여호와의 노가 발하여 폭풍과 회리바람처럼 악인의 머리를 칠 것이라
The fierce anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have done it, and until he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it.24 The wrath of the Lord will not be turned back till he has done, till he has put into effect, the purposes of his heart: in days to come you will have full knowledge of this.24 나 여호와의 진노는 내 마음의 뜻한 바를 행하여 이루기까지는 쉬지 아니하나니 너희가 말일에 그것을 깨달으리라
