1Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
1 Up! let your face be bright, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord is shining on you.
1 일어나라 빛을 발하라 이는 네 빛이 이르렀고 여호와의 영광이 네 위에 임하였음이니라
2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
2 For truly, the earth will be dark, and the peoples veiled in blackest night; but the Lord will be shining on you, and his glory will be seen among you.
2 보라 어두움이 땅을 덮을 것이며 캄캄함이 만민을 가리우려니와 오직 여호와께서 네 위에 임하실 것이며 그 영광이 네 위에 나타나리니
3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
3 And nations will come to your light, and kings to your bright dawn.
3 열방은 네 빛으로, 열왕은 비취는 네 광명으로 나아오리라
4 Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thyside.
4 Let your eyes be lifted up, and see: they are all coming together to you: your sons will come from far, and your daughters taken with loving care.
4 네 눈을 들어 사면을 보라 무리가 다 모여 네게로 오느니라 네 아들들은 원방에서 오겠고 네 딸들은 안기워 올것이라
5 Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.
5 Then you will see, and be bright with joy, and your heart will be shaking with increase of delight: for the produce of the sea will be turned to you, the wealth of the nations will come to you.
5 그 때에 네가 보고 희색을 발하며 네 마음이 놀라고 또 화창하리니 이는 바다의 풍부가 네게로 돌아오며 열방의 재물이 네게로 옴이라
6 The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bringgold and incense; and they shall show forth the praises of the LORD.
6 You will be full of camel-trains, even the young camels of Midian and Ephah; all from Sheba will come, with gold and spices, giving word of the great acts of the Lord.
6 허다한 약대, 미디안과 에바의 젊은 약대가 네 가운데 편만할 것이며 스바의 사람들은 다 금과 유향을 가지고 와서 여호와의 찬송을 전파할 것이며
7 All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.
7 All the flocks of Kedar will come together to you, the sheep of Nebaioth will be ready for your need; they will be pleasing offerings on my altar, and my house of prayer will be beautiful.
7 게달의 양 무리는 다 네게로 모여지고 느바욧의 수양은 네게 공급되고 내 단에 올라 기꺼이 받음이 되리니 내가 내 영광의 집을 영화롭게 하리라
8 Who are these thatfly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?
8 Who are these coming like a cloud, like a flight of doves to their windows?
8 저 구름 같이, 비둘기가 그 보금자리로 날아 오는 것 같이 날아 오는 자들이 누구뇨
9 Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshishfirst, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.
9 Vessels of the sea-lands are waiting for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, so that your sons may come from far, and their silver and gold with them, to the place of the name of the Lord your God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he has made you beautiful.
9 곧 섬들이 나를 앙망하고 다시스의 배들이 먼저 이르되 원방에서 네 자손과 그 은금을 아울러 싣고 와서 네 하나님 여호와의 이름에 드리려 하며 이스라엘의 거룩한 자에게 드리려 하는 자들이라 이는 내가 너를 영화롭게 하였음이니라
10 And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.
10 And men from strange countries will be building up your walls, and their kings will be your servants: for in my wrath I sent punishment on you, but in my grace I have had mercy on you.
10 내가 노하여 너를 쳤으나 이제는 나의 은혜로 너를 긍휼히 여겼은즉 이방인들이 네 성벽을 쌓을 것이요 그 왕들이 너를 봉사할 것이며
11 Therefore thy gates shall be opencontinually; they shall not be shutday nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kingsmay bebrought.
11 Your doors will be open at all times; they will not be shut day or night; so that men may come into you with the wealth of the nations, with their kings at their head.
11 네 성문이 항상 열려 주야로 닫히지 아니하리니 이는 사람들이 네게로 열방의 재물을 가져오며 그 왕들을 포로로 이끌어 옴이라
12 For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, thosenations shall be utterlywasted.
12 For the nation or kingdom which will not be your servant will come to destruction; such nations will be completely waste.
12 너를 섬기지 아니하는 백성과 나라는 파멸하리니 그 백성들은 반드시 진멸되리라
13 The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the boxtogether, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feetglorious.
13 The glory of Lebanon will come to you, the cypress, the plane, and the sherbin-tree together, to make my holy place beautiful; and the resting-place of my feet will be full of glory.
13 레바논의 영광 곧 잣나무와 소나무와 황양목이 함께 네게 이르러 내 거룩한 곳을 아름답게 할 것이며 내가 나의 발 둘 곳을 영화롭게 할것이라
14 The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall comebending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee, The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
14 And the sons of those who were cruel to you will come before you with bent heads; and those who made sport of you will go down on their faces at your feet; and you will be named, The Town of the Lord, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
14 너를 괴롭게 하던 자의 자손이 몸을 굽혀 네게 나아오며 너를 멸시하던 모든 자가 네 발 아래 엎드리어 너를 일컬어 여호와의 성읍이라, 이스라엘의 거룩한 자의 시온이라 하리라
15Whereas thou hast been forsaken and hated, so that no man went throughthee, I will make thee an eternalexcellency, a joy of manygenerations.
15 And though you were turned away from, and hated, and had no helper, I will make you a pride for ever, a joy from generation to generation.
15 전에는 네가 버림을 입으며 미움을 당하였으므로 네게로 지나는 자가 없었으나 이제는 내가 너로 영영한 아름다움과 대대의 기쁨이 되게 하리니
16 Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the LORDam thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
16 And you will take the milk of the nations, flowing from the breast of kings; and you will see that I, the Lord, am your saviour, and he who takes up your cause, the Strong One of Jacob.
16 네가 열방의 젖을 빨며 열왕의 유방을 빨고 나 여호와는 네 구원자, 네 구속자, 야곱의 전능자인줄 알리라
17 For brass I will bringgold, and for iron I will bringsilver, and for woodbrass, and for stonesiron: I will also make thy officerspeace, and thine exactorsrighteousness.
17 In place of brass, I will give gold, and for iron silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron: and I will make Peace your judge, and Righteousness your overseer.
17 내가 금을 가져 놋을 대신하며 은을 가져 철을 대신하며 놋으로 나무를 대신하며 철로 돌을 대신하며 화평을 세워 관원을 삼으며 의를 세워 감독을 삼으리니
18Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy wallsSalvation, and thy gatesPraise.
18 Violent acts will no longer be seen in your land, wasting or destruction in your limits; but your walls will be named, Salvation, and your doors Praise.
18 다시는 강포한 일이 네 땅에 들리지 않을 것이요 황폐와 파멸이 네 경내에 다시 없을 것이며 네가 네 성벽을 구원이라, 네 성문을 찬송이라 칭할 것이라
19 The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlastinglight, and thy God thy glory.
19 The sun will not be your light by day, and the moon will no longer be bright for you by night: but the Lord will be to you an eternal light, and your God your glory.
19 다시는 낮에 해가 네 빛이 되지 아니하며 달도 네게 빛을 비취지 않을 것이요 오직 여호와가 네게 영영한 빛이 되며 네 하나님이 네 영광이 되리니
20 Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moonwithdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlastinglight, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.
20 Your sun will never again go down, or your moon keep back her light: for the Lord will be your eternal light, and the days of your sorrow will be ended.
20 다시는 네 해가 지지 아니하며 네 달이 물러가지 아니할 것은 여호와가 네 영영한 빛이 되고 네 슬픔의 날이 마칠 것임이니라
21 Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.
21 Your people will all be upright, the land will be their heritage for ever; the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, to be for my glory.
21 네 백성이 다 의롭게 되어 영영히 땅을 차지하리니 그들은 나의 심은 가지요 나의 손으로 만든 것으로서 나의 영광을 나타낼 것인즉
22 A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strongnation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.
22 The smallest of their families will become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I, the Lord, will make it come quickly in its time.
22 그 작은 자가 천을 이루겠고 그 약한 자가 강국을 이룰 것이라 때가 되면 나 여호와가 속히 이루리라
