1Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for moreare the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.
1 Let your voice be loud in song, O woman without children; make melody and sounds of joy, you who did not give birth: for the children of her who had no husband are more than those of the married wife, says the Lord.
1 잉태치 못하며 생산치 못한 너는 노래할찌어다 구로치 못한 너는 외쳐 노래할찌어다 홀로 된 여인의 자식이 남편 있는 자의 자식보다 많음이니라 여호와의 말이니라
2Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;
2 Make wide the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your house be stretched out without limit: make your cords long, and your tent-pins strong.
2 네 장막터를 넓히며 네 처소의 휘장을 아끼지 말고 널리 펴되 너의 줄을 길게 하며 너의 말뚝을 견고히 할찌어다
3 For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolatecities to be inhabited.
3 For I will make wide your limits on the right hand and on the left; and your seed will take the nations for a heritage, and make the waste towns full of people.
3 이는 네가 좌우로 퍼지며 네 자손은 열방을 얻으며 황폐한 성읍들로 사람 살 곳이 되게 할 것임이니라
4Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.
4 Have no fear; for you will not be shamed or without hope: you will not be put to shame, for the shame of your earlier days will go out of your memory, and you will no longer keep in mind the sorrows of your widowed years.
4 두려워 말라 네가 수치를 당치 아니하리라 놀라지 말라 네가 부끄러움을 보지 아니하리라 네가 네 청년 때의 수치를 잊겠고 과부 때의 치욕을 다시 기억함이 없으리니
5 For thy Makeris thine husband; the LORD of hostsis his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
5 For your Maker is your husband; the Lord of armies is his name: and the Holy One of Israel is he who takes up your cause; he will be named the God of all the earth.
5 이는 너를 지으신 자는 네 남편이시라 그 이름은 만군의 여호와시며 네 구속자는 이스라엘의 거룩한 자시라 온 세상의 하나님이라 칭함을 받으실 것이며
6 For the LORD hath called thee as a womanforsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.
6 For the Lord has made you come back to him, like a wife who has been sent away in grief of spirit; for one may not give up the wife of one's early days.
6 여호와께서 너를 부르시되 마치 버림을 입어 마음에 근심하는 아내 곧 소시에 아내 되었다가 버림을 입은 자에게 함같이 하실 것임이니라 네 하나님의 말씀이니라
7 For a smallmoment have I forsaken thee; but with greatmercies will I gather thee.
7 For a short time I gave you up; but with great mercies I will take you back again.
7 내가 잠시 너를 버렸으나 큰 긍휼로 너를 모을 것이요
8 In a littlewrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlastingkindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.
8 In overflowing wrath my face was veiled from you for a minute, but I will have pity on you for ever, says the Lord who takes up your cause.
8 내가 넘치는 진노로 내 얼굴을 네게서 잠시 가리웠으나 영원한 자비로 너를 긍휼히 여기리라 네 구속자 여호와의 말이니라
9 For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.
9 For this is like the days of Noah to me: for as I took an oath that the waters of Noah would never again go over the earth, so have I taken an oath that I will not again be angry with you, or say bitter words to you.
9 이는 노아의 홍수에 비하리로다 내가 다시는 노아의 홍수로 땅 위에 범람치 않게 하리라 맹세한것 같이 내가 다시는 너를 노하지 아니하며 다시는 너를 책망하지 아니하기로 맹세하였노니
10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.
10 For the mountains may be taken away, and the hills be moved out of their places, but my love will not be taken from you, or my agreement of peace broken, says the Lord, who has had mercy on you.
10 산들은 떠나며 작은 산들은 옮길찌라도 나의 인자는 네게서 떠나지 아니하며 화평케 하는 나의 언약은 옮기지 아니하리라 너를 긍휼히 여기는 여호와의 말이니라
11 O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.
11 O troubled one, storm-crushed, uncomforted! see, your stones will be framed in fair colours, and your bases will be sapphires.
11 너 곤고하며 광풍에 요동하여 안위를 받지 못한 자여 보라 내가 화려한 채색으로 네 돌 사이에 더하며 청옥으로 네 기초를 쌓으며
12 And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbunclesㆍ, and all thy borders of pleasantstones.
12 I will make your towers of rubies, and your doors of carbuncles, and the wall round you will be of all sorts of beautiful stones.
12 홍보석으로 네 성첩을 지으며 석류석으로 네 성문을 만들고 네 지경을 다 보석으로 꾸밀 것이며
13 And all thy childrenshall betaught of the LORD; and greatshall be the peace of thy children.
13 And all your builders will be made wise by the Lord; and great will be the peace of your children.
13 네 모든 자녀는 여호와의 교훈을 받을 것이니 네 자녀는 크게 평강할 것이며
14 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.
14 All your rights will be made certain to you: have no fear of evil, and destruction will not come near you.
14 너는 의로 설 것이며 학대가 네게서 멀어질 것인즉 네가 두려워 아니할 것이며 공포 그것도 너를 가까이 못할 것이라
15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, butnot by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.
15 See, they may be moved to war, but not by my authority: all those who come together to make an attack on you, will be broken against you.
15 그들이 모일찌라도 나로 말미암지 아니한 것이니 누구든지 모여 너를 치는 자는 너를 인하여 패망하리라
16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
16 See, I have made the iron-worker, blowing on the burning coals, and making the instrument of war by his work; and I have made the waster for destruction.
16 숯불을 불어서 자기가 쓸만한 기계를 제조하는 장인도 내가 창조하였고 파괴하며 진멸하는 자도 내가 창조하였은즉
17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tonguethat shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousnessis of me, saith the LORD.
17 No instrument of war which is formed against you will be of any use; and every tongue which says evil against you will be judged false. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness comes from me, says the Lord.
17 무릇 너를 치려고 제조된 기계가 날카롭지 못할 것이라 무릇 일어나 너를 대적하여 송사하는 혀는 네게 정죄를 당하리니 이는 여호와의 종들의 기업이요 이는 그들이 내게서 얻은 의니라 여호와의 말이니라
