1Bel boweth down, Nebostoopeth, their idols were upon the beasts, and upon the cattle: your carriageswere heavy loaden; they are a burden to the wearybeast.
1 Bel is bent down, Nebo is falling; their images are on the beasts and on the cattle: the things which you took about have become a weight to the tired beast.
1 벨은 엎드러졌고 느보는 구부러졌도다 그들의 우상들은 짐승과 가축에게 실리웠으니 너희가 떠메고 다니던 그것은 피곤한 짐승의 무거운 짐이 되었도다
2 They stoop, they bow downtogether; they could not deliver the burden, but themselves are gone into captivity.
2 They are bent down, they are falling together: they were not able to keep their images safe, but they themselves have been taken prisoner.
2 그들은 구부러졌고 그들은 일제히 엎드러졌으므로 그 짐을 구하여 내지 못하고 자기도 잡혀 갔느니라
3Hearken unto me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, which are borneby me from the belly, which are carried from the womb:
3 Give ear to me, O family of Jacob, and all the rest of the people of Israel, who have been supported by me from their birth, and have been my care from their earliest days:
3 야곱 집이여 이스라엘 집의 남은 모든 자여 나를 들을찌어다 배에서 남으로부터 내게 안겼고 태에서 남으로부터 내게 품기운 너희여
4 And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carryyou: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliveryou.
4 Even when you are old I will be the same, and when you are grey-haired I will take care of you: I will still be responsible for what I made; yes, I will take you and keep you safe.
4 너희가 노년에 이르기까지 내가 그리하겠고 백발이 되기까지 내가 너희를 품을 것이라 내가 지었은즉 안을 것이요 품을 것이요 구하여 내리라
5 To whom will ye liken me, and make meequal, and compare me, that we may be like?
5 Who in your eyes is my equal? or what comparison will you make with me?
5 너희가 나를 누구에 비기며 누구와 짝하며 누구와 비교하여 서로 같다 하겠느냐
6 They lavishgold out of the bag, and weighsilver in the balance, andhire a goldsmith; and he maketh it a god: they fall down, yea, they worship.
6 As for those who take gold out of a bag, and put silver in the scales, they give payment to a gold-worker, to make it into a god; they go down on their faces and give it worship.
6 사람들이 주머니에서 금을 쏟아 내며 은을 저울에 달아 장색에게 주고 그것으로 신을 만들게 하고 그것에게 엎드려 경배하고
7 They bear him upon the shoulder, they carry him, and set him in his place, and he standeth; from his place shall he not remove: yea, one shall cry unto him, yet can he not answer, nor save him out of his trouble.
7 They put him on their backs, and take him up, and put him in his fixed place, from which he may not be moved; if a man gives a cry for help to him, he is unable to give an answer, or get him out of his trouble.
7 그것을 들어 어깨에 메어다가 그의 처소에 두면 그것이 서서 있고 거기서 능히 움직이지 못하며 그에게 부르짖어도 능히 응답지 못하며 고난에서 구하여 내지도 못하느니라
8Remember this, and show yourselves men: bring itagain to mind, O ye transgressors.
8 Keep this in mind and be shamed; let it come back to your memory, you sinners.
8 너희 패역한 자들아 이 일을 기억하고 장부가 되라 이 일을 다시 생각하라
9Remember the former things of old: for I amGod, and there is none else; I amGod, and there isnonelike me,
9 Let the things which are past come to your memory: for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like me;
9 너희는 옛적 일을 기억하라 나는 하나님이라 나 외에 다른이가 없느니라 나는 하나님이라 나 같은이가 없느니라
10Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient timesthe things that are not yetdone, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
10 Making clear from the first what is to come, and from past times the things which have not so far come about; saying, My purpose is fixed, and I will do all my pleasure;
10 내가 종말을 처음부터 고하며 아직 이루지 아니한 일을 옛적부터 보이고 이르기를 나의 모략이 설 것이니 내가 나의 모든 기뻐하는 것을 이루리라 하였노라
11Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a farcountry: yea, I have spokenit, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposedit, I will also do it.
11 Sending for a bird of strong flight from the east, the man of my purpose from a far country; I have said it, and I will give effect to it; the thing designed by me will certainly be done.
11 내가 동방에서 독수리를 부르며 먼 나라에서 나의 모략을 이룰 사람을 부를 것이라 내가 말하였은즉 정녕 이룰 것이요 경영하였은즉 정녕 행하리라
12Hearken unto me, ye stoutheartedㆍ, that are far fromrighteousness:
12 Give ear to me, you feeble-hearted, who have no faith in my righteousness:
12 마음이 완악하여 의에서 멀리 떠난 너희여 나를 들으라
13 I bring near my righteousness:; it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not tarry: and I will placesalvation in Zion for Israel my glory.
13 My righteousness is near, it is not far off; salvation will come quickly; and I will make Zion free, and give Israel my glory.
13 내가 나의 의를 가깝게 할것인즉 상거가 멀지 아니하니 나의 구원이 지체치 아니할 것이라 내가 나의 영광인 이스라엘을 위하여 구원을 시온에 베풀리라
