1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amozsaw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
1 The word which Isaiah, the son of Amoz, saw about Judah and Jerusalem.
1 아모스의 아들 이사야가 받은바 유다와 예루살렘에 관한 말씀이라
2 And it shall come to pass in the lastdays, that the mountain of the Lord'shouse shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
2 And it will come about in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord will be placed on the top of the mountains, and be lifted up over the hills; and all nations will come to it.
2 말일에 여호와의 전의 산이 모든 산 꼭대기에 굳게 설 것이요 모든 작은 산 위에 뛰어나리니 만방이 그리로 모여 들 것이라
3 And manypeople shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
3 And the peoples will say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob: and he will give us knowledge of his ways, and we will be guided by his word; for out of Zion the law will go out, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
3 많은 백성이 가며 이르기를 오라 우리가 여호와의 산에 오르며 야곱의 하나님의 전에 이르자 그가 그 도로 우리에게 가르치실 것이라 우리가 그 길로 행하리라 하리니 이는 율법이 시온에서부터 나올 것이요 여호와의 말씀이 예루살렘에서부터 나올 것임이니라
4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebukemanypeople: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift upsword against nation, neither shall they learnwar any more.
4 And he will be the judge between the nations, and the peoples will be ruled by his decisions: and their swords will be turned into plough-blades, and their spears into vine-knives: no longer will the nations be turning their swords against one another, and the knowledge of war will be gone for ever.
4 그가 열방 사이에 판단하시며 많은 백성을 판결하시리니 무리가 그 칼을 쳐서 보습을 만들고 그 창을 쳐서 낫을 만들 것이며 이 나라와 저 나라가 다시는 칼을 들고 서로 치지 아니하며 다시는 전쟁을 연습지 아니하리라
5 O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.
5 O family of Jacob, come, and let us go in the light of the Lord.
5 야곱 족속아 오라 우리가 여호와의 빛에 행하자
6 Therefore thou hast forsaken thy people the house of Jacob, because they be replenished from the east, and aresoothsayers like the Philistines, and they please themselves in the children of strangers.
6 For you, O Lord, have given up your people, the family of Jacob, because they are full of the evil ways of the east, and make use of secret arts like the Philistines, and are friends with the children of strange countries.
6 주께서 주의 백성 야곱 족속을 버리셨음은 그들에게 동방 풍속이 가득하며 그들이 블레셋 사람 같이 술객이 되며 이방인으로 더불어 손을 잡아 언약하였음이라
7 Their land also is full of silver and gold, neither is there anyend of their treasures; their land is also full of horses, neither is there anyend of their chariots:
7 And their land is full of silver and gold, and there is no end to their stores; their land is full of horses, and there is no end to their carriages.
7 그 땅에는 은금이 가득하고 보화가 무한하며 그 땅에는 마필이 가득하고 병거가 무수하며
8 Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made:
8 Their land is full of images; they give worship to the work of their hands, even to that which their fingers have made.
8 그 땅에는 우상도 가득하므로 그들이 자기 손으로 짓고 자기 손가락으로 만든 것을 공경하여
9 And the mean man boweth down, and the great manhumbleth himself: therefore forgive them not.
9 And the poor man's head is bent, and the great man goes down on his face: for this cause there will be no forgiveness for their sin.
9 천한 자도 절하며 귀한 자도 굴복하오니 그들을 용서하지 마옵소서
10Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, forfear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty.
10 Go into a hole in the rock, covering yourselves with dust, in fear of the Lord, before the glory of his power.
10 너희는 바위 틈에 들어가며 진토에 숨어 여호와의 위엄과 그 광대하심의 영광을 피하라
11 The loftylooks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.
11 The high looks of man will be put to shame, and the pride of men will be made low, and only the Lord will be lifted up in that day.
11 그날에 눈이 높은 자가 낮아지며 교만한 자가 굴복되고 여호와께서 홀로 높임을 받으시리라
12 For the day of the LORD of hostsshall be upon every one that isproud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:
12 For the day of the Lord of armies is coming on all the pride of men, and on all who are high and lifted up;
12 대저 만군의 여호와의 한 날이 모든 교만자와 거만자와 자고한 자에게 임하여 그들로 낮아지게 하고
13 And upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that arehigh and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan,
13 And on all the high trees of Lebanon, and on all the strong trees of Bashan;
13 또 레바논의 높고높은 모든 백향목과 바산의 모든 상수리나무와
14 And upon all the highmountains, and upon all the hillsthat are lifted up,
14 And on all the high mountains, and on all the hills which are lifted up;
14 모든 높은 산과 모든 솟아오른 작은 산과
15 And upon every hightower, and upon every fencedwall,
15 And on every high tower, and on every strong wall;
15 모든 높은 망대와 견고한 성벽과
16 And upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasantpictures.
16 And on all the ships of Tarshish, and on all the fair boats.
16 다시스의 모든 배와 모든 아름다운 조각물에 임하리니
17 And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.
17 And the high looks of man will be put to shame, and the pride of men will be made low: and only the Lord will be lifted up in that day.
17 그 날에 자고한 자는 굴복되며 교만한 자는 낮아지고 여호와께서 홀로 높임을 받으실 것이요
18 And the idols he shall utterlyabolish.
18 And the images will never be seen again.
18 우상들은 온전히 없어질 것이며
19 And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, forfear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.
19 And men will go into cracks of the rocks, and into holes of the earth, for fear of the Lord, and before the glory of his power, when he comes out of his place, shaking the earth with his strength.
19 사람들이 암혈과 토굴로 들어가서 여호와께서 일어나사 땅을 진동시키시는 그의 위엄과 그 광대하심의 영광을 피할 것이라
20 In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the molesand to the bats;
20 In that day men will put their images of silver and of gold, which they made for worship, in the keeping of the beasts of the dark places;
20 사람이 숭배하려고 만들었던 그 은 우상과 금 우상을 그 날에 두더쥐와 박쥐에게 던지고
21 To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, forfear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.
21 To take cover in the cracks of the rocks, and in the holes of the hills, for fear of the Lord, and before the glory of his power, when he comes out of his place, shaking the earth with his strength.
21 암혈과 험악한 바위틈에 들어가서 여호와께서 일어나사 땅을 진동시키시는 그의 위엄과 그 광대하심의 영광을 피하리라
22Cease ye from man, whose breathis in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?
22 Have no more to do with man, whose life is only a breath, for he is of no value.
