1 Then said the LORD unto me, Go yet, love a womanbeloved of herfriend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the LORD toward the children of Israel, who look to othergods, and loveflagons of wine.
1 And the Lord said to me, Give your love again to a woman who has a lover and is false to her husband, even as the Lord has love for the children of Israel, though they are turned to other gods and are lovers of grape-cakes.
1 여호와께서 내게 이르시되 이스라엘 자손이 다른 신을 섬기고 건포도 떡을 즐길찌라도 여호와가 저희를 사랑하나니 너는 또 가서 타인에게 연애를 받아 음부 된 그 여인을 사랑하라 하시기로
2 So I bought her to me for fifteenpieces of silver, and for an homer of barley, and an half homer of barley:
2 So I got her for myself for fifteen shekels of silver and a homer and a half of barley;

3 And I said unto her, Thou shalt abide for me manydays; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be for anotherman: so will I also be for thee.
3 And I said to her, You are to be mine for a long space of time; you are not to be false to me, and no other man is to have you for his wife; and so will I be to you.
3 저에게 이르기를 너는 많은 날 동안 나와 함께 지내고 행음하지 말며 다른 남자를 좇지 말라 나도 네게 그리하리라 하였노라

4 For the children of Israel shall abidemanydays without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and withoutteraphim:
4 For the children of Israel will for a long time be without king and without ruler, without offerings and without pillars, and without ephod or images.
4 이스라엘 자손들이 많은 날 동안 왕도 없고 군도 없고 제사도 없고 주상도 없고 에봇도 없고 드라빔도 없이 지내다가
5Afterward shall the children of Israelreturn, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latterdays.
5 And after that, the children of Israel will come back and go in search of the Lord their God and David their king; and they will come in fear to the Lord and to his mercies in the days to come.
5 그 후에 저희가 돌아와서 그 하나님 여호와와 그 왕 다윗을 구하고 말일에는 경외하므로 여호와께로 와 그 은총으로 나아가리라
