29 And Joseph got his carriage ready and went to Goshen for the meeting with his father; and when he came before him, he put his arms round his neck, weeping.
29 요셉이 수레를 갖추고 고센으로 올라가서 아비 이스라엘을 맞으며 그에게 보이고 그 목을 어긋맞겨 안고 얼마 동안 울매
30 And Israelsaid unto Joseph, Now let me die, since I have seen thy face, because thou artyetalive.[x]MKJV: And Israel said to Joseph, Now let me die, since I have seen your face, because you [are] still alive. BBE: And Israel said to Joseph, Now that I have seen you living again, I am ready for death. KAV: 이스라엘이 요셉에게 이르되, 네가 지금까지 살아 있고 내가 네 얼굴을 보았으니 내가 지금 죽어도 좋도다, 하니라. 30 And Israel said to Joseph, Now that I have seen you living again, I am ready for death.
30 이스라엘이 요셉에게 이르되 네가 지금까지 살아 있고 내가 네 얼굴을 보았으니 지금 죽어도 가하도다
31 And Josephsaid unto his brethren, and unto his father'shouse, I will go up, and showPharaoh, and say unto him, My brethren, and my father'shouse, which were in the land of Canaan, are come unto me;[x]MKJV: And Joseph said to his brothers and to his father's house, I will go up and show Pharaoh, and say to him, My brothers and my father's house, who were in the land of Canaan, have come to me. 31 요셉이 그 형들과 아비의 권속에게 이르되 내가 올라가서 바로에게 고하여 이르기를 가나안 땅에 있던 내 형들과 내 아비의 권속이 내게로 왔는데
32 And the menareshepherdsㆍ, for their trade hath been to feed cattle; and they have brought their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have.[x]MKJV: And the men [are] shepherds, for they have been men of cattle. And they have brought their flocks and their herds and all that they have. BBE: And these men are keepers of sheep and owners of cattle, and have with them their flocks and their herds and all they have. 32 And these men are keepers of sheep and owners of cattle, and have with them their flocks and their herds and all they have.
32 그들은 목자라 목축으로 업을 삼으므로 그 양과 소와 모든 소유를 이끌고 왔나이다 하리니
33 And it shall come to pass, when Pharaoh shall call you, and shall say, What is your occupation?[x]MKJV: And it shall be when Pharaoh shall call you, and shall say, What [is] your occupation? 33 Now when Pharaoh sends for you and says, What is your business?
33 바로가 당신들을 불러서 너희의 업이 무엇이냐 묻거든
34 That ye shall say, Thy servantstrade hath been about cattle from our youth even until now, both we, and also our fathers: that ye may dwell in the land of Goshen; for every shepherdㆍis an abomination unto the Egyptians.[x]MKJV: Then you shall say, Your servants have been men of cattle from our youth even until now, both we and our fathers, so that you may live in the land of Goshen, for every shepherd [is] an abomination to the Egyptians. BBE: You are to say, Your servants have been keepers of cattle from our early days up to now, like our fathers; in this way you will be able to have the land of Goshen for yourselves; because keepers of sheep are unclean in the eyes of the Egyptians. 34 당신들은 고하기를 주의 종들은 어렸을 때부터 지금까지 목축하는 자이온데 우리와 우리 선조가 다 그러하니이다 하소서 애굽 사람은 다 목축을 가증히 여기나니 당신들이 고센 땅에 거하게 되리이다
