7 And he said to the servants of Pharaoh who were in prison with him, Why are you looking so sad?

8 And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter of it. 12 And Josephsaid unto him, This is the interpretation of it: The threebranchesarethreedays:[x]MKJV: And Joseph said to him, This [is] the interpretation of it. The three branches are three days. BBE: Then Joseph said, This is the sense of your dream: the three branches are three days; KAV: 요셉이 그에게 이르되, 그 꿈의 해석은 이러하니 세 가지는 사흘이니이다. 12 Then Joseph said, This is the sense of your dream: the three branches are three days;

13Yet within threedays shall Pharaoh lift up thine head, and restore thee unto thy place: and thou shalt deliverPharaoh'scup into his hand, after the formermanner when thou wast his butler.[x]MKJV: Yet within three days Pharaoh shall lift up your head and restore you to your place. And you shall deliver Pharaoh's cup into his hand, just as you did when you were his cupbearer. BBE: After three days Pharaoh will give you honour, and put you back into your place, and you will give him his cup as you did before, when you were his wine-servant. 14 But think on me when it shall be well with thee, and showkindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house:[x]MKJV: But remember me when it is well with you, and please show kindness to me, and make mention of me to Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house. BBE: But keep me in mind when things go well for you, and be good to me and say a good word for me to Pharaoh and get me out of this prison: KAV: 오직 당신이 잘되시거든 나를 생각하고 원하건대 내게 친절을 베푸사 내 일을 파라오께 고하고 이 집에서 나를 빼내 주소서. 16 When the chiefbakersaw that the interpretation was good, he said unto Joseph, I alsowas in my dream, and, behold, I hadthreewhitebaskets on my head:[x]MKJV: When the chief baker saw the interpretation was good, he said to Joseph, I also [saw] in my dream, and three baskets of white bread [were] on my head. 16 Now when the chief bread-maker saw that the first dream had a good sense, he said to Joseph, I had a dream; and in my dream there were three baskets of white bread on my head;

18 Then Joseph said, This is the sense of your dream: the three baskets are three days;

19 Yet within threedays shall Pharaoh lift up thy head from off thee, and shall hang thee on a tree; and the birds shall eat thy flesh from off thee.[x]MKJV: Yet within three days Pharaoh shall lift up your head from off you, and shall hang you on a tree. And the birds shall eat your flesh from off you. BBE: After three days Pharaoh will take you out of prison, hanging you on a tree, so that your flesh will be food for birds. 20 And it came to pass the thirdday, which wasPharaoh'sbirthdayㆍ, that he made a feast unto all his servants: and he lifted up the head of the chiefbutler and of the chiefbakeramong his servants.[x]MKJV: And it happened on the third day, Pharaoh's birthday, that he made a feast to all his servants. And he lifted up the head of the chief cupbearer, and of the chief baker, among his servants. BBE: Now the third day was Pharaoh's birthday, and he gave a feast for all his servants; and he gave honour to the chief wine-servant and the chief bread-maker among the others. 21 And he restored the chiefbutler unto his butlershipagain; and he gave the cup into Pharaoh'shand:[x]MKJV: And he restored the chief cupbearer back into his cupbearer office again. And he gave the cup into Pharaoh's hand. BBE: And he put the chief wine-servant back in his old place; and he gave the cup into Pharaoh's hand. 22 But the chief bread-maker was put to death by hanging, as Joseph had said.
