30 And it came to pass, as soon as Isaac had made an end of blessingJacob, and Jacob was yetscarce gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, that Esau his brother came in from his hunting.[x]MKJV: And it happened, as soon as Isaac had made an end of blessing Jacob, and Jacob was scarcely gone from the presence of Isaac his father, that Esau his brother came in from his hunting. 30 And when Isaac had come to the end of blessing Jacob, and Jacob had not long gone away from Isaac his father, Esau came in from the field.
30 이삭이 야곱에게 축복하기를 마치매 야곱이 그 아비 이삭 앞에서 나가자 곧 그 형 에서가 사냥하여 돌아온지라
31 And he also had made savoury meat, and brought it unto his father, and said unto his father, Let my fatherarise, and eat of his son'svenison, that thy soul may bless me.[x]MKJV: And he also had made tasty meat and brought to his father. And he said to his father, Let my father arise and eat of his son's game so that your soul may bless me. BBE: And he made ready a meal, good to the taste, and took it to his father, and said to him, Let my father get up and take of his son's meat, so that you may give me a blessing. 31 And he made ready a meal, good to the taste, and took it to his father, and said to him, Let my father get up and take of his son's meat, so that you may give me a blessing.

32 And Isaac his fathersaid unto him, Who art thou? And he said, I am thy son, thy firstbornEsau.[x]MKJV: And his father Isaac said to him, Who [are] you? 32 And Isaac his father said to him, Who are you? And he said, I am your oldest son, Esau.
32 그 아비 이삭이 그에게 이르되 너는 누구냐 그가 대답하되 나는 아버지의 아들 곧 아버지의 맏아들 에서로소이다
33 And Isaactrembledveryexceedinglyㆍ, and said, Who? whereis he that hath takenvenison, and broughtit me, and I have eaten of all before thou camest, and have blessed him? yea, and he shall be blessed.[x]MKJV: And Isaac trembled with a great trembling, and said, Who then [was] the one who has hunted deer and brought to me, and I have eaten of all before you came, and have blessed him? Yea, he shall be blessed! BBE: And in great fear Isaac said, Who then is he who got meat and put it before me, and I took it all before you came, and gave him a blessing, and his it will be? 33 이삭이 심히 크게 떨며 가로되 그런즉 사냥한 고기를 내게 가져온 자가 누구냐 너 오기 전에 내가 다 먹고 그를 위하여 축복하였은즉 그가 정녕 복을 받을 것이니라
34 And when Esauheard the words of his father, he cried with a great and exceedingbittercry, and said unto his father, Bless me, even me also, O my father.[x]MKJV: And when Esau heard the voice of his father, he cried with a great and exceeding bitter cry, and said to his father, Bless me, me also, O my father! BBE: And hearing the words of his father, Esau gave a great and bitter cry, and said to his father, Give a blessing to me, even to me, O my father! 36 And he said, Is not he rightlynamedㆍJacob? for he hath supplanted methese two times: he took away my birthright; and, behold, now he hath taken away my blessing. And he said, Hast thou not reserved a blessing for me?[x]MKJV: And he said, [It is] because his name [is] called Jacob? For he has supplanted me these two times: he took away my birthright, and behold, now he has taken away my blessing. And he said, Have you not reserved a blessing for me? BBE: And he said, Is it because he is named Jacob that he has twice taken my place? for he took away my birthright, and now he has taken away my blessing. And he said, Have you not kept a blessing for me? 37 And Isaacanswered and said unto Esau, Behold, I have made him thy lord, and all his brethren have I given to him for servants; and with corn and wine have I sustained him: and what shall I donow unto thee, my son?[x]MKJV: And Isaac answered and said to Esau, Behold! I have made him your lord, and all his brothers I have given him for servants. And with grain and wine I have supported him. And what shall I do now to you, my son? BBE: And Isaac answering said, But I have made him your master, and have given him all his brothers for servants; I have made him strong with grain and wine: what then am I to do for you, my son? 37 And Isaac answering said, But I have made him your master, and have given him all his brothers for servants; I have made him strong with grain and wine: what then am I to do for you, my son?

And it shall be when you shall have the dominion, you shall break his yoke from off your neck. 41 And EsauhatedJacobbecause of the blessingwherewith his father blessed him: and Esausaid in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brotherJacob.[x]MKJV: And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing with which his father had blessed him. And Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning [for] my father are at hand. Then I will kill my brother Jacob. BBE: So Esau was full of hate for Jacob because of his father's blessing; and he said in his heart, The days of weeping for my father are near; then I will put my brother Jacob to death. 42 And these words of Esau her elderson were told to Rebekah: and she sent and calledJacob her youngerson, and said unto him, Behold, thy brotherEsau, as touching thee, doth comfort himself, purposing to kill thee.[x]MKJV: And these words of her older son Esau were told to Rebekah. And she sent and called her younger son Jacob, and said to him, Behold, your brother Esau is going to ease himself on you, to kill you. BBE: Then Rebekah, hearing what Esau had said, sent for Jacob, her younger son, and said to him, It seems that your brother Esau is purposing to put you to death. 43 Now therefore, my son, obey my voice; and arise, flee thou to Laban my brother to Haran;[x]MKJV: And now, my son, obey my voice and arise.
