| 2 Son of man, set thy face against the Ammonites ㆍ, and prophesy against them; | 2 Son of man, let your face be turned to the children of Ammon, and be a prophet against them: | 2 인자야 암몬 족속을 향하여 그들을 쳐서 예언하라 너는 암몬 족속에게 이르기를 너희는 주 여호와의 말씀을 들을찌어다 주 여호와의 말씀에 내 성소를 더럽힐 때에 네가 그것을 대하여, 이스라엘 땅이 황무할 때에 네가 그것을 대하여, 유다 족속이 사로잡힐 때에 네가 그들을 대하여 이르기를 아하 좋다 하였도다 |
| 3 And say unto the Ammonites ㆍ, Hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity; | 3 And say to the children of Ammon, Give ear to the word of the Lord; this is what the Lord has said: Because you said, Aha! against my holy place when it was made unclean, and against the land of Israel when it was made waste, and against the people of Judah when they were taken away as prisoners; | 3 (2절에 포함되어 있음) |

| 6 For thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast clapped thine hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced in heart with all thy despite against the land of Israel; | 6 For the Lord has said, Because you have made sounds of joy with your hands, stamping your feet, and have been glad, putting shame with all your soul on the land of Israel; | 6 나 주 여호와가 말하노라 네가 이스라엘 땅을 대하여 손뼉을 치며 발을 구르며 마음을 다하여 멸시하며 즐거워하였나니 |
| 7 Behold, therefore I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and will deliver thee for a spoil ㆍ to the heathen; and I will cut thee off from the people, and I will cause thee to perish out of the countries: I will destroy thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD. | 7 For this cause my hand has been stretched out against you, and I will give up your goods to be taken by the nations; I will have you cut off from the peoples and will put an end to you among the countries: I will give you up to destruction; and you will be certain that I am the Lord. | 7 그런즉 내가 손을 네 위에 펴서 너를 다른 민족에게 붙여 노략을 당하게 하며 너를 만민 중에 끊어 버리며 너를 열국 중에서 패망케 하여 멸하리니 네가 나를 여호와인줄 알리라 하셨다 하라 |
| 8 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because that Moab and Seir do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like unto all the heathen; | 8 This is what the Lord has said: Because Moab and Seir are saying, See, the people of Judah are like all the nations; | 8 나 주 여호와가 말하노라 모압과 세일이 이르기를 유다 족속은 모든 이방과 일반이라 하도다 |
| 9 Therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Bethjeshimoth, Baalmeon, and Kiriathaim, | 9 For this cause, I will let the side of Moab be uncovered, and his towns on every side, the glory of the land, Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon and as far as Kiriathaim. | 9 그러므로 내가 모압의 한편 곧 그 나라 변경에 있는 영화로운 성읍들 벧여시못과 바알므온과 기랴다임을 열고 |
| 10 Unto the men of the east with the Ammonites ㆍ, and will give them in possession, that the Ammonites may not be remembered among the nations. | 10 To the children of the east I have given her for a heritage, as well as the children of Ammon, so that there may be no memory of her among the nations: | 10 암몬 족속 일반으로 동방 사람에게 붙여 기업을 삼게 할것이라 암몬 족속으로 다시는 이방 가운데서 기억되지 아니하게 하려니와 |
| 11 And I will execute judgments upon Moab; and they shall know that I am the LORD. | 11 And I will be the judge of Moab; and they will see that I am the Lord. | 11 내가 모압에 벌을 내리리니 그들이 나를 여호와인줄 알리라 |
| 12 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because that Edom hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them; | 12 This is what the Lord has said: Because Edom has taken his payment from the people of Judah, and has done great wrong in taking payment from them; | 12 나 주 여호와가 말하노라 에돔이 유다 족속을 쳐서 원수를 갚았고 원수를 갚음으로 심히 범죄하였도다 |
| 13 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also stretch out mine hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword. | 13 The Lord has said, My hand will be stretched out against Edom, cutting off from it man and beast: and I will make it waste, from Teman even as far as Dedan they will be put to the sword. | 13 그러므로 나 주 여호와가 말하노라 내가 내 손을 에돔 위에 펴서 사람과 짐승을 그 가운데서 끊어 데만에서부터 황무하게 하리니 드단까지 칼에 엎드러지리라 |
| 14 And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel: and they shall do in Edom according to mine anger and according to my fury; and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord GOD. | 14 I will take payment from Edom because of my people Israel; and I will take Edom in hand in my wrath and in my passion: and they will have experience of my reward, says the Lord. | 14 내가 내 백성 이스라엘의 손을 빙자하여 내 원수를 에돔에게 갚으리니 그들이 내 노와 분을 따라 에돔에 행한즉 내가 원수를 갚음인줄을 에돔이 알리라 나 주 여호와의 말이니라 |
| 15 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart, to destroy it for the old hatred; | 15 This is what the Lord has said: Because the Philistines have taken payment, with the purpose of causing shame and destruction with unending hate; | 15 나 주 여호와가 말하노라 블레셋 사람이 옛날부터 미워하여 멸시하는 마음으로 원수를 갚아 진멸코자 하였도다 |
| 16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will stretch out mine hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethims, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast. | 16 The Lord has said, See, my hand will be stretched out against the Philistines, cutting off the Cherethites and sending destruction on the rest of the sea-land. | 16 그러므로 나 주 여호와가 말하노라 내가 블레셋 사람 위에 손을 펴서 그렛 사람을 끊으며 해변에 남은 자를 진멸하되 |
| 17 And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them. | 17 And I will take great payment from them with acts of wrath; and they will be certain that I am the Lord when I send my punishment on them. | 17 분노의 책벌로 내 원수를 그들에게 크게 갚으리라 내가 그들에게 원수를 갚은즉 그들이 나를 여호와인줄 알리라 하시니라 |
