The fate of Jerusalem. (1-14) The extent of the sufferings of the Jews. (15-27)
KJV BBE KRV
Again in the ninth year, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,1 And the word of the Lord came to me in the ninth year, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, saying,1 제 구년 시월 십일에 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 가라사대
Son of man, write thee the name of the day, even of this same day: the king of Babylon set himself against Jerusalem this same day.2 Son of man, put down in writing this very day: The king of Babylon let loose the weight of his attack against Jerusalem on this very day.2 인자야 너는 날짜 곧 오늘날을 기록하라 바벨론 왕이 오늘날 예루살렘에 핍근하였느니라
And utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Set on a pot, set it on, and also pour water into it:3 And make a comparison for this uncontrolled people, and say to them, This is what the Lord has said: Put on the cooking-pot, put it on the fire and put water in it:3 너는 이 패역한 족속에게 비유를 베풀어 이르기를 주 여호와의 말씀에 한 가마를 걸라
Gather the pieces thereof into it, even every good piece, the thigh, and the shoulder; fill it with the choice bones.4 And get the bits together, the fat tail, every good part, the leg and the top part of it: make it full of the best bones.4 건 후에 물을 붓고 양떼에서 고른 것을 가지고 각을 뜨고 그 넓적다리와 어깨고기의 모든 좋은 덩이를 그 가운데 모아 넣으며 고른 뼈를 가득히 담고 그 뼈를 위하여 가마 밑에 나무를 쌓아 넣고 잘 삶되 가마 속의 뼈가 무르도록 삶을찌어다
Take the choice of the flock, and burn also the bones under it, and make it boil well, and let them seethe the bones of it therein.5 Take the best of the flock, put much wood under it: see that its bits are boiling well; let the bones be cooked inside it.5 (4절에 포함되어 있음)
Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose scum is therein, and whose scum is not gone out of it! bring it out piece by piece; let no lot fall upon it.6 For this is what the Lord has said: A curse is on the town of blood, the cooking-pot which is unclean inside, which has never been made clean! take out its bits; its fate is still to come on it.6 그러므로 나 주 여호와가 말하노라 피 흘린 성읍, 녹슨 가마 곧 그 속의 녹을 없이 하지 아니한 가마여 화 있을찐저 제비 뽑을 것도 없이 그 덩이를 일일이 꺼낼찌어다
For her blood is in the midst of her; she set it upon the top of a rock; she poured it not upon the ground, to cover it with dust;7 For her blood is in her; she has put it on the open rock not draining it on to the earth so that it might be covered with dust;7 그 피가 그 가운데 있음이여 피를 땅에 쏟아서 티끌이 덮이게 하지 않고 말간 반석 위에 두었도다
That it might cause fury to come up to take vengeance; I have set her blood upon the top of a rock, that it should not be covered.8 In order that it might make wrath come up to give punishment, she has put her blood on the open rock, so that it may not be covered.8 내가 그 피를 말간 반석 위에 두고 덮이지 않게 함은 분노를 발하여 보응하려 함이로라
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city! I will even make the pile for fire great.9 For this cause the Lord has said: A curse is on the town of blood! and I will make great the burning mass.9 그러므로 나 주 여호와가 말하노라 화 있을찐저 피를 흘린 성읍이여 내가 또 나무 무더기를 크게 하리라
Heap on wood, kindle the fire, consume the flesh, and spice it well, and let the bones be burned.10 Put on much wood, heating up the fire, boiling the flesh well, and making the soup thick, and let the bones be burned.10 나무를 많이 쌓고 불을 피워 그 고기를 삶아 녹이고 국물을 졸이고 그 뼈를 태우고
Then set it empty upon the coals thereof, that the brass of it may be hot, and may burn, and that the filthiness of it may be molten in it, that the scum of it may be consumed.11 And I will put her on the coals so that she may be heated and her brass burned, so that what is unclean in her may become soft and her waste be completely taken away.11 가마가 빈 후에는 숯불 위에 놓아 뜨겁게 하며 그 가마의 놋을 달궈서 그 속에 더러운 것을 녹게 하며 녹이 소멸하게 하라
She hath wearied herself with lies, and her great scum went not forth out of her: her scum shall be in the fire.12 I have made myself tired to no purpose: still all the waste which is in her has not come out, it has an evil smell.12 이 성읍이 수고하므로 스스로 곤비하나 많은 녹이 그 속에서 벗어지지 아니하며 불에서도 없어지지 아니하는도다
In thy filthiness is lewdness: because I have purged thee, and thou wast not purged, thou shalt not be purged from thy filthiness any more, till I have caused my fury to rest upon thee.13 As for your unclean purpose: because I have been attempting to make you clean, but you have not been made clean from it, you will not be made clean till I have let loose my passion on you in full measure.13 너의 더러운 중에 음란이 하나이라 내가 너를 정하게 하나 네가 정하여지지 아니하니 내가 네게 향한 분노를 풀기 전에는 네 더러움이 다시 정하여지지 아니하리라
I the LORD have spoken it: it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord GOD.14 I the Lord have said the word and I will do it; I will not go back or have mercy, and my purpose will not be changed; in the measure of your ways and of your evil doings you will be judged, says the Lord.14 나 여호와가 말하였은즉 그 일이 이룰찌라 내가 돌이키지도 아니하며 아끼지도 아니하며 뉘우치지도 아니하고 행하리니 그들이 네 모든 행위대로 너를 심문하리라 나 주 여호와의 말이니라 하셨다 하라
Also the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,15 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,15 여호와의 말씀이 또 내게 임하여 가라사대
Son of man, behold, I take away from thee the desire of thine eyes with a stroke: yet neither shalt thou mourn nor weep, neither shall thy tears run down.16 Son of man, see, I am taking away the desire of your eyes by disease: but let there be no sorrow or weeping or drops running from your eyes.16 인자야 내가 네 눈에 기뻐하는 것을 한번 쳐서 빼앗으리니 너는 슬퍼 하거나 울거나 눈물을 흘리거나 하지 말며
Forbear to cry, make no mourning for the dead, bind the tire of thine head upon thee, and put on thy shoes upon thy feet, and cover not thy lips, and eat not the bread of men.17 Let there be no sound of sorrow; make no weeping for your dead, put on your head-dress and your shoes on your feet, let not your lips be covered, and do not take the food of those in grief.17 죽은 자들을 위하여 슬퍼하지 말고 종용히 탄식하며 수건으로 머리를 동이고 발에 신을 신고 입술을 가리우지 말고 사람의 부의하는 식물을 먹지 말라 하신지라
So I spake unto the people in the morning: and at even my wife died; and I did in the morning as I was commanded.18 So in the morning I was teaching the people and in the evening death took my wife; and in the morning I did what I had been ordered to do.18 내가 아침에 백성에게 고하였더니 저녁에 내 아내가 죽기로 아침에 내가 받은 명령대로 행하매
And the people said unto me, Wilt thou not tell us what these things are to us, that thou doest so?19 And the people said to me, Will you not make clear to us the sense of these things; is it for us you do them?19 백성이 내게 이르되 네가 행하는 이 일이 우리에게 무슨 상관이 되는지 너는 우리에게 고하지 아니하겠느냐 하므로
Then I answered them, The word of the LORD came unto me, saying,20 Then I said to them, The word of the Lord came to me, saying,20 내가 그들에게 대답하기를 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 가라사대
Speak unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the excellency of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pitieth; and your sons and your daughters whom ye have left shall fall by the sword.21 Say to the people of Israel, The Lord has said, See, I will make my holy place unclean, the pride of your strength, the pleasure of your eyes, and the desire of your soul; and your sons and daughters, who did not come with you here, will be put to the sword.21 너는 이스라엘 족속에게 이르기를 주 여호와의 말씀에 내 성소는 너희 세력의 영광이요 너희 눈의 기쁨이요 너희 마음에 아낌이 되거니와 내가 더럽힐 것이며 너희의 버려 둔 자녀를 칼에 엎드러지게 할찌라
And ye shall do as I have done: ye shall not cover your lips, nor eat the bread of men.22 And you will do as I have done, not covering your lips or taking the food of those in grief.22 너희가 에스겔의 행한 바와 같이 행하여 입술을 가리우지 아니하며 사람의 식물을 먹지 아니하며
And your tires shall be upon your heads, and your shoes upon your feet: ye shall not mourn nor weep; but ye shall pine away for your iniquities, and mourn one toward another.23 And your head-dresses will be on your heads and your shoes on your feet: there will be no sorrow or weeping; but you will be wasting away in the punishment of your evil-doing, and you will be looking at one another in wonder.23 수건으로 머리를 동인채, 발에 신을 신은채로 두고 슬퍼하지도 아니하며 울지도 아니하되 죄악 중에 쇠패하여 피차 바라보고 탄식하리라
Thus Ezekiel is unto you a sign: according to all that he hath done shall ye do: and when this cometh, ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.24 And Ezekiel will be a sign to you; everything he has done you will do: when this takes place, you will be certain that I am the Lord.24 이와 같이 에스겔이 너희에게 표징이 되리니 그가 행한대로 너희가 다 행할찌라 이 일이 이루면 너희가 나를 주 여호와인줄 알리라 하라 하셨느니라
Also, thou son of man, shall it not be in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that whereupon they set their minds, their sons and their daughters,25 And as for you, son of man, your mouth will be shut in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that on which their hearts are fixed, and their sons and daughters.25 인자야 내가 그 힘과 그 즐거워하는 영광과 그 눈의 기뻐하는 것과 그 마음의 간절히 생각하는 자녀를 제하는 날
That he that escapeth in that day shall come unto thee, to cause thee to hear it with thine ears?26 In that day, one who has got away safe will come to you to give you news of it.26 곧 그 날에 도피한 자가 네게 나아와서 네 귀에 그 일을 들리지 아니하겠느냐
In that day shall thy mouth be opened to him which is escaped, and thou shalt speak, and be no more dumb: and thou shalt be a sign unto them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.27 In that day your mouth will be open to him who has got away safe, and you will say words to him and your lips will no longer be shut: so you will be a sign to them and they will be certain that I am the Lord.27 그 날에 네 입이 열려서 도피한 자에게 말하고 다시는 잠잠하지 아니하리라 이와 같이 너는 그들에게 표징이 되고 그들은 내가 여호와인줄 알리라
