하나님이 모세에게 기적을 행할 능력을 주시다. (1-9) 모세가 보냄받기를 꺼리다, 아론이 그를 돕게 되다. (10-17) 모세가 미디안을 떠나다, 바로에게 보내는 하나님의 메시지. (18-23) 모세에 대한 하나님의 불쾌함, 아론이 그를 만나다, 백성이 그들을 믿다. (24-31)
1 And Mosesanswered and said, But, behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken unto my voice: for they will say, The LORD hath not appeared unto thee.[x]MKJV: And Moses answered and said, But, behold, they will not believe me nor listen to my voice. For they will say, The LORD has not appeared to you. BBE: And Moses, answering, said, It is certain that they will not have faith in me or give ear to my voice; for they will say, You have not seen the Lord. 1 And Moses, answering, said, It is certain that they will not have faith in me or give ear to my voice; for they will say, You have not seen the Lord.
1 모세가 대답하여 가로되 그러나 그들이 나를 믿지 아니하며 내 말을 듣지 아니하고 이르기를 여호와께서 네게 나타나지 아니하셨다 하리이다
2 And the LORDsaid unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod.[x]MKJV: And the LORD said to him, What [is] this in your hand? And he said, A staff. BBE: And the Lord said to him, What is that in your hand? And he said, A rod. 2 And the Lord said to him, What is that in your hand? And he said, A rod.

3 And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Mosesfled from before it.[x]MKJV: And He said, Throw it on the ground. And he threw it on the ground. And it became a serpent. And Moses ran from it. BBE: And he said, Put it down on the earth. And he put it down on the earth and it became a snake; and Moses went running from it. 3 And he said, Put it down on the earth. And he put it down on the earth and it became a snake; and Moses went running from it.

4 And the LORDsaid unto Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take it by the tail. 4 And the Lord said to Moses, Put out your hand and take it by the tail: (and he put out his hand and took a grip of it and it became a rod in his hand:)

5 That they may believe that the LORDGod of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared unto thee.[x]MKJV: so that they may believe that the LORD God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you. BBE: So that they may be certain that the Lord, the God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, has been seen by you. 6 And the LORDsaidfurthermore unto him, Put now thine hand into thy bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom: and when he took it out, behold, his handwasleprous as snow.[x]MKJV: And the LORD said to him again, Now put your hand in your bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom. And when he took it out, behold, his hand [was] as leprous as snow. BBE: Then the Lord said to him again, Put your hand inside your clothing. And he put his hand inside his robe: and when he took it out it was like the hand of a leper, as white as snow. 6 Then the Lord said to him again, Put your hand inside your clothing. And he put his hand inside his robe: and when he took it out it was like the hand of a leper, as white as snow.

7 And he said, Put thine hand into thy bosomagain. And he put his hand into his bosomagain; and plucked it out of his bosom, and, behold, it was turned again as his otherflesh.[x]MKJV: And He said, Put your hand into your bosom again. And he put his hand into his bosom again. And he brought it out of his bosom, and behold, it was turned again like his [other] flesh. BBE: And he said, Put your hand inside your robe again. (And he put his hand into his robe again, and when he took it out he saw that it had become like his other flesh.) 7 And he said, Put your hand inside your robe again. (And he put his hand into his robe again, and when he took it out he saw that it had become like his other flesh.)
7 가라사대 네 손을 다시 품에 넣으라 하시매 그가 다시 손을 품에 넣었다가 내어보니 손이 여상하더라
8 And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe thee, neither hearken to the voice of the firstsign, that they will believe the voice of the lattersign.[x]MKJV: And it will be, if they will not believe you, neither listen to the voice of the first sign, then they will believe the voice of the latter sign. BBE: And if they do not have faith in you or give ear to the voice of the first sign, they will have faith in the second sign. KAV: 그들이 너를 믿지 아니하며 그 처음 표적의 소리에 귀를 기울이지 아니할지라도 나중 표적의 소리는 믿으리라. 8 And if they do not have faith in you or give ear to the voice of the first sign, they will have faith in the second sign.
8 여호와께서 가라사대 그들이 너를 믿지 아니하며 그 처음 이적의 표징을 받지 아니하여도 둘째 이적의 표징은 믿으리라
9 And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe also these twosigns, neither hearken unto thy voice, that thou shalt take of the water of the river, and pourit upon the dryland: and the water which thou takest out of the river shall become blood upon the dryland.[x]MKJV: And also it will be, if they will not believe these two signs, neither listen to your voice, then you shall take from the water of the river and pour [it] upon the dry land. And the water which you take out of the river shall become blood on the dry land. BBE: And if they have no faith even in these two signs and will not give ear to your voice, then you are to take the water of the Nile and put it on the dry land: and the water you take out of the river will become blood on the dry land. 9 And if they have no faith even in these two signs and will not give ear to your voice, then you are to take the water of the Nile and put it on the dry land: and the water you take out of the river will become blood on the dry land.
9 그들이 이 두 이적을 믿지 아니하며 네 말을 듣지 아니하거든 너는 하수를 조금 취하여다가 육지에 부으라 네가 취한 하수가 육지에서 피가 되리라
10 And Mosessaid unto the LORD, O my Lord, Iam not eloquent, neither heretoforeㆍ, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I amslow of speech, and of a slowtongue.[x]MKJV: And Moses said to the LORD, O my Lord, I [am] not a man of words now, nor since You have spoken to Your servant, but I [am] slow of speech and of a slow tongue. BBE: And Moses said to the Lord, O Lord, I am not a man of words; I have never been so, and am not now, even after what you have said to your servant: for talking is hard for me, and I am slow of tongue. 10 And Moses said to the Lord, O Lord, I am not a man of words; I have never been so, and am not now, even after what you have said to your servant: for talking is hard for me, and I am slow of tongue.
10 모세가 여호와께 고하되 주여 나는 본래 말에 능치 못한 자라 주께서 주의 종에게 명하신 후에도 그러하니 나는 입이 뻣뻣하고 혀가 둔한 자니이다
11 And the LORDsaid unto him, Who hath mademan'smouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD?[x]MKJV: And the LORD said to him, Who has made man's mouth? Or who makes the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the LORD? BBE: And the Lord said to him, Who has made man's mouth? who takes away a man's voice or hearing, or makes him seeing or blind? Is it not I, the Lord? KAV: {주}께서 그에게 이르시되, 누가 사람의 입을 만들었느냐? 누가 말 못하는 자나 귀먹은 자나 보는 자나 눈먼 자를 만들었느냐? 나 {주}가 아니냐? 12 Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.[x]MKJV: And now go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say. BBE: So go now, and I will be with your mouth, teaching you what to say. KAV: 그런즉 이제 가라. 내가 네 입과 함께하여 네가 할 말을 네게 가르치리라. 13 And he said, O my Lord, send, I pray thee, by the handof him whom thou wilt send.[x]MKJV: And he said, O my Lord, I pray You, send by the hand [of him whom] You will send. BBE: And he said, O Lord, send, if you will, by the hand of anyone whom it seems good to you to send. 14 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Moses, and he said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother? I know that he can speakwell. And also, behold, he cometh forth to meet thee: and when he seeth thee, he will be glad in his heart.[x]MKJV: And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Moses. And He said, Do I not know Aaron the Levite, your brother that he can speak well? And also, behold, he comes forth to meet you. And when he sees you, he will be glad in his heart. BBE: And the Lord was angry with Moses, and said, Is there not Aaron, your brother, the Levite? To my knowledge he is good at talking. And now he is coming out to you: and when he sees you he will be glad in his heart. 14 여호와께서 모세를 향하여 노를 발하시고 가라사대 레위 사람 네 형 아론이 있지 아니하뇨 그의 말 잘함을 내가 아노라 그가 너를 만나러 나오나니 그가 너를 볼 때에 마음에 기뻐할 것이라
15 And thou shalt speak unto him, and putwords in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do.[x]MKJV: And you shall speak to him, and you shall put words in his mouth. And I will be with your mouth and with his mouth, and will teach you what you shall do. BBE: Let him give ear to your voice, and you will put my words in his mouth; and I will be with your mouth and with his, teaching you what you have to do. KAV: 너는 그에게 말하고 그의 입에 말들을 줄지니라. 내가 네 입과 그의 입과 함께하여 너희가 행할 일을 너희에게 가르치리라. 16 And he shall be thy spokesman unto the people: and he shall be, even he shall be to thee instead of a mouth, and thou shalt be to him instead of God.[x]MKJV: And it will be, he shall speak for you to the people, and he shall be for a mouth to you. And you shall be to him a god. BBE: And he will do the talking for you to the people: he will be to you as a mouth and you will be to him as God. KAV: 그가 백성을 향해 네 대변인이 되리니 그가 곧 그가 참으로 네게 입을 대신할 것이요, 너는 그에게 [하나님]을 대신하리라. 16 And he will do the talking for you to the people: he will be to you as a mouth and you will be to him as God.
16 그가 너를 대신하여 백성에게 말할 것이니 그는 네 입을 대신할 것이요 너는 그에게 하나님 같이 되리라
17 And thou shalt take this rod in thine hand, wherewith thou shalt dosigns.[x]MKJV: And you shall take this rod in your hand, [with] which you shall do signs. BBE: And take in your hand this rod with which you will do the signs. KAV: 너는 이 막대기를 네 손에 잡고 그것으로 표적들을 행할지니라. TSK: And thou shalt take this rod in thine hand, wherewith thou shalt do signs.: ex 4:2, ex 7:9,19, 1co 1:27
17 And take in your hand this rod with which you will do the signs.
17 너는 이 지팡이를 손에 잡고 이것으로 이적을 행할찌니라
18 And Moseswent and returned to Jethro his father in law, and said unto him, Let me go, I pray thee, and return unto my brethren which are in Egypt, and see whether they be yetalive. And Jethrosaid to Moses, Go in peace.[x]MKJV: And Moses went and returned to Jethro his father-in-law, and said to him, Please let me go and return to my brothers who [are] in Egypt and see if they [are] still alive. And Jethro said to Moses, Go in peace. BBE: And Moses went back to Jethro, his father-in-law, and said to him, Let me go back now to my relations in Egypt and see if they are still living. 18 And Moses went back to Jethro, his father-in-law, and said to him, Let me go back now to my relations in Egypt and see if they are still living. And Jethro said to Moses, Go in peace.
18 모세가 장인 이드로에게로 돌아가서 그에게 이르되 내가 애굽에 있는 내 형제들에게로 돌아가서 그들이 생존하였는지 보려하오니 나로 가게 하소서 이드로가 그에게 평안히 가라 하니라
19 And the LORDsaid unto Moses in Midian, Go, return into Egypt: for all the men are dead which sought thy life.[x]MKJV: And the LORD said to Moses in Midian, Go! Return to Egypt, for all the men who sought your life are dead. BBE: And the Lord said to Moses in Midian, Go back to Egypt, for all the men are dead who were attempting to take your life. KAV: {주}께서 미디안에서 모세에게 이르시되, 가라. 이집트로 돌아가라. 네 생명을 찾던 모든 자들이 죽었느니라, 하시니 TSK: for all: ex 2:15,23, mt 2:20
19 And the Lord said to Moses in Midian, Go back to Egypt, for all the men are dead who were attempting to take your life.

20 And Mosestook his wife and his sons, and set them upon an ass, and he returned to the land of Egypt: and Mosestook the rod of God in his hand.[x]MKJV: And Moses took his wife and his sons, and set them upon an ass, and he returned to the land of Egypt. 20 And Moses took his wife and his sons and put them on an ass and went back to the land of Egypt: and he took the rod of God in his hand.

21 And the LORDsaid unto Moses, When thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou do all those wondersbeforePharaoh, which I have put in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the peoplego.[x]MKJV: And the LORD said to Moses, When you go to return into Egypt, see that you do all those wonders which I have put in your hand before Pharaoh; but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go. BBE: And the Lord said to Moses, When you go back to Egypt, see that you do before Pharaoh all the wonders which I have given you power to do: but I will make his heart hard and he will not let the people go. 21 And the Lord said to Moses, When you go back to Egypt, see that you do before Pharaoh all the wonders which I have given you power to do: but I will make his heart hard and he will not let the people go.
21 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 네가 애굽으로 돌아가거든 내가 네 손에 준 이적을 바로 앞에서 다 행하라 그러나 내가 그의 마음을 강퍅케 한즉 그가 백성을 놓지 아니하리니
22 And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israelis my son, even my firstborn:[x]MKJV: And you shall say to Pharaoh, Thus says the Lord: Israel [is] My son, My first-born. BBE: And you are to say to Pharaoh, The Lord says, Israel is the first of my sons: KAV: 너는 파라오에게 이르기를, {주}가 이같이 말하노라. 이스라엘은 내 아들 곧 나의 처음 난 자니라. 22 And you are to say to Pharaoh, The Lord says, Israel is the first of my sons:

23 And I say unto thee, Let my songo, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn.[x]MKJV: And I say to you, Let My son go, that he may serve Me. And if you refuse to let him go, behold, I [am] going to kill your son, your first-born. BBE: And I said to you, Let my son go, so that he may give me worship; and you did not let him go: so now I will put the first of your sons to death. KAV: 내가 네게 말하노라. 내 아들을 가게 하여 나를 섬기게 하라. 그가 가는 것을 네가 거부하면, 보라, 내가 네 아들 곧 너의 처음 난 자를 죽이리라, 하라, 하시니라.
