1 And the Lord said to Moses, I will send one more punishment on Pharaoh and on Egypt; after that he will let you go; and when he does let you go, he will not keep one of you back, but will send you out by force.
1 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시기를 내가 이제 한가지 재앙을 바로와 애굽에 내린 후에야 그가 너희를 여기서 보낼찌라 그가 너희를 보낼 때에는 여기서 정녕 다 쫓아 내리니
2Speak now in the ears of the people, and let every manborrow of his neighbour, and every woman of her neighbour, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold.[x]MKJV: Speak now in the ears of the people, and let every man borrow from his neighbor, and every woman from her neighbor, articles of silver and jewels of gold. 2 So go now and give orders to the people that every man and every woman is to get from his or her neighbour ornaments of silver and of gold.
2 백성에게 말하여 남녀로 각기 이웃들에게 은, 금패물을 구하게 하라 하시더니
3 And the LORDgave the peoplefavour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the manMoseswasverygreat in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh'sservants, and in the sight of the people.[x]MKJV: And the LORD gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. And the man Moses [was] very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh's servants, and in the sight of the people. BBE: And the Lord gave the people grace in the eyes of the Egyptians. 3 And the Lord gave the people grace in the eyes of the Egyptians. For the man Moses was highly honoured in the land of Egypt, by Pharaoh's servants and the people.
3 여호와께서 그 백성으로 애굽 사람의 은혜를 받게 하셨고 또 그 사람 모세는 애굽국에서 바로의 신하와 백성에게 심히 크게 뵈었더라
4 And Mosessaid, Thus saith the LORD, About midnightwill I go out into the midst of Egypt:[x]MKJV: And Moses said, Thus says the LORD: About midnight I will go out into the midst of Egypt. 4 And Moses said, This is what the Lord says: About the middle of the night I will go out through Egypt:
5 And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that isbehind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts.[x]MKJV: And all the first-born in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first-born of Pharaoh that sits upon his throne, even to the first-born of the slave-girl that [is] behind the mill; also the first-born of beasts. BBE: And death will come to every mother's first male child in all the land of Egypt, from the child of Pharaoh on his seat of power, to the child of the servant-girl crushing the grain; and the first births of all the cattle. 6 And there shall be a greatcry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.[x]MKJV: And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more. BBE: And there will be a great cry through all the land of Egypt, such as never has been or will be again. KAV: 온 이집트 땅에 큰 부르짖음이 있을 터인데 그와 같은 것은 전에도 없었고 앞으로도 없으리라. 7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dogmove his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.[x]MKJV: But against any of the sons of Israel not even a dog shall move his tongue, against man or beast, so that you may know that the LORD puts a difference [between] the Egyptians and Israel. BBE: But against the children of Israel, man or beast, not so much as the tongue of a dog will be moved: so that you may see how the Lord makes a division between Israel and the Egyptians. 7 But against the children of Israel, man or beast, not so much as the tongue of a dog will be moved: so that you may see how the Lord makes a division between Israel and the Egyptians.
7 그러나 이스라엘 자손에게는 사람에게나 짐승에게나 개도 그 혀를 움직이지 않으리니 여호와가 애굽 사람과 이스라엘 사이에 구별하는 줄을 너희가 알리라 하셨나니
8 And all these thy servants shall come down unto me, and bow down themselves unto me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that follow thee: and after that I will go out. And he went out from Pharaoh in a greatanger.[x]MKJV: And all these, your servants, shall come down to me and bow themselves down to me, saying, You and all the people that follow you get out. And after that I will go out. And he went out from Pharaoh in a great anger. BBE: And all these your servants will come to me, going down on their faces before me and saying, Go out, and all your people with you: and after that I will go out. 8 And all these your servants will come to me, going down on their faces before me and saying, Go out, and all your people with you: and after that I will go out. And he went away from Pharaoh burning with wrath.
8 왕의 이 모든 신하가 내게 내려와서 내게 절하며 이르기를 너와 너를 좇는 온 백성은 나가라 한 후에야 내가 나가리라 하고 심히 노하여 바로에게서 나오니라
9 And the LORDsaid unto Moses, Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you; that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.[x]MKJV: And the LORD said to Moses, Pharaoh shall not listen to you, so that My wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt. BBE: And the Lord said to Moses, Pharaoh will not give ear to you, so that my wonders may be increased in the land of Egypt. 9 And the Lord said to Moses, Pharaoh will not give ear to you, so that my wonders may be increased in the land of Egypt.
9 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시기를 바로가 너희를 듣지 아니할찌라 그러므로 내가 애굽 땅에서 나의 기사를 더하리라 하셨고
10 And Moses and Aarondid all these wondersbeforePharaoh: and the LORDhardenedPharaoh'sheart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go out of his land.[x]MKJV: And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh. And the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart so that he would not let the sons of Israel go out of his land. BBE: All these wonders Moses and Aaron did before Pharaoh: but the Lord made Pharaoh's heart hard, and he did not let the children of Israel go out of his land. 10 All these wonders Moses and Aaron did before Pharaoh: but the Lord made Pharaoh's heart hard, and he did not let the children of Israel go out of his land.
10 모세와 아론이 이 모든 기사를 바로 앞에서 행하였으나 여호와께서 바로의 마음을 강퍅케 하셨으므로 그가 이스라엘 자손을 그 나라에서 보내지 아니하였더라
